I posted a welcome message and now it is deleted.

It is possible that I re-registed from the same computer (I couldn't remember if I had registered before, so I re-registered.)

Is that a no-no? I wasn't trying to do anything wrong or pull anything "funny". I don't think I ever even posted before tonight.

What do I do next? I did receive an email with my username and password, and was able to make the one post, tonight but when I went back to look for replies, it had been deleted within an hour.

Can you help me? I'd really like to be a registered member if at all possible. I wasn't trying to set up a "stealth" second account; I really could not recall registering in the past.

Hi Bernie (I'm with Emmie on that!), I am seeing your name in the member list, it could be an issue with your computer. Try clearing your cache and history (maybe cookies too), reboot and then try logging in again before trying to set up yet another account.

Something's definitely screwy in cyberland today - I'm barely receiving emails and have not received ANY messages about posts made to threads on this forum today, even though a quick browse shows it's been active. Your problems just may be part of that. As Emmie stated, the admins seem to pretty much ignore us here and so far it's all been good. You didn't do anything to warrant getting posts deleted or anything else either, I'd say it's a good bet it is due to technical difficulties. And Welcome!

ETA: Now I KNOW it's due to technical difficulties! My post just showed up ahead of Emmie's, which was already here when I wrote it. Sumpin screwy in saint lewy!

Hi Bernie (I'm shortening that name!)
There really isn't an admins at this board. We all behave here so I guess they don't watch us (strains of Big Brother music here) and other's emails to admins have also gone unanswered.

My suggestion is that you go "clean slate". Just re-register, if you can, using a whole 'nother screen name and choose an alternate email address (like a hotmail or gmail account?). Maybe that will work?

This has never come up before.
