The oil reserves are there to prevent a disruption in our supply. High prices are not a disruption. That oil is there in case we are in a war and supplies are cut off...the strategic reserve would allow us to continue to have fuel for fighter jets and naval ships and transport trucks etc etc. I did not agree when Bush 41 did it and hope GWB does not do it.


Exactly gr8tefulcpa....the Strategic Oil Reserve is for war or something of a similar nature.
I agree it would be a mistake to touch it.

Well. The oil prices went down, but will the prices of food go down.....or the joke is on us? In my area the gas is 1.40 gallon,,,,,,maybe? I purchased, a turkey for 59 cents a pound ,,,,shady farms brand.....
