I want to stay out of the affray surrounding this "site" since I personally have no need of their services.
However, since this is the most likely place their rep might answer a question, I must ask for the benefit of those tempted to try ImLivingAgain:
What is the necessity of requiring money wired through WU before services are rendered?
-----
Yes, we accept that some International sites require payment that way, though there is a high risk of being scammed that way unless the site has a proven track record.
"Email Sources" often ask for payment that way, though again, there is a great risk of simply "donating" money using that method, let alone the legalities involved.
Some of the NROPs operating on the down-low ask for payment that way, but you're similarly taking your chances on many fronts by wiring funds to strangers and you're out of the "gray area" and into illegal territory that way too.
-----
Seems to me if an OCS offering a full-fledged consult with a licensed Doctor and promises medication delivered via Fedex wants patients to take the leap, they'd be more forthcoming about the need for wiring funds in advance -- that "need" being something only hinted at so far...
A great many readers here realize that wiring funds offers virtually no opportunity to recoup that money in the event of an "unpleasant experience".
OTOH, there are folks looking for pain relief who don't realize this is this is generally a disappointing experiences going that route....
-----
Something ain't right, IMO
Proceed with caution!

You Know PTA,
I believe it's more of the "lack of" operating capitol over a scam that drives that procedure.
Some clients have posted good experiences with them and like you, I don't require their services. But from a business overview, it seems as they may need the capitol up front in order to pay the doctor, pharmacy and shipping.
Their Credit Rating rather than " a skeem" is probably the issue.
I would enjoy your thoughts from this point of view.

I have to say I agree with you as that is what I thought when she told me to wire money upfront. She stated that she had been working for another OCS that the owner walked away with all the monies owed out. No one got paid dr, pharms, workers, etc. So now she said that that is why they are doing it the way they are. I asked her about taking a credit card and she said they weren't set up for that yet and also that alot of people would cancel payment on credit cards to them. I think COD is the best way don't you agree?

PTA,rubix, I, hoppa and a few others had a lot running about this group
FWIW, this place certainly did arouse suspicion. It was essentially a "source without a web", a line becoming blurred of late as Microsoft and Googlepages has begun to offer free web space.
These Internet giants are offering potentially more professional looking free web space, lacking the popup ads that give away the Tripod, Angelfire, GeoCities and a million others like the .tk domains that gave away the "traditional" free web page.
I went through much of the process of signing up for an officelive.com page, the type ILA was using.
The signup is just as anonymous as any other free web page, giving you no recourse in tracking down the "owners" in the event of a scam.
---- That was always the inherent danger of sending money/credit card info/whatever through free web sites. At least if a site has a domain and a hosting provider, they paid with something that should link back to their identity if they are planning on perpetrating a massive scam. I say "should" because the World Wild Web is full of exploits and even a registered, paid for site could lead to forever lost funds.
Given the World Wide nature of the Web, who you gonna call if you're ripped off by some questionable site, the Latvian Police Department?
----
Actually, I said little about this ILA site. The other members mentioned raised enough red flags to convince ILA this may not be the venue to launch their questionable "business" venture.
---- While $200.00 is a lot of money for most folks, frankly most medication scams that prey on those in need are pikers and bottom feeders compared the many other dangers.
---- A little OT, but can Admin forgive me?
Just to name a couple we may not be aware of:
I've spent a lot of time, to no avail, attempting to keep people from falling for the 'work at home' scams that spam continuously. It's truly tragic that in these tough times, many, many people are taken for 5-10K "investments" that prove to be utterly useless.
There are good, legitimate work at home opportunities that could benefit some of our members who can't hold outside jobs. I'm one of them, in fact. I've posted on it before. I'll try to dig up those resources when I have a chance and post them in the appropriate forum. Try searching my posts for the last few years, here and on the VIP side for " missy " -- I believe I mentioned her name. She was a mentor to me early on who helped me learn what to avoid, asking nothing in return. Sadly Missy suffered an unimaginable tragedy a few years back. Pray for my friend Missy please....
-----
As evil as the 'work at home' scams are, the cruel activities that regularly occur on Online Dating services are arguably worse.
A fellow corresponds with a dozen lonely women, telling each how he feels they are his "soul mates". He's lost his home and job and would love to make a "fresh start" and relocate to your area to share a lifetime together.
If only he could settle up a few debts where he is and if you would be kind enough to send him money for airfare too. I recently learned of an acquaintance who waited 12 desperate hours at the airport after fronting one of these cads a large sum of money so they could be together. Needless to say, she never heard from the bum again.
----
So, despite how it has revolutionized our lives, the Internet is a dangerous, unregulated place in general.
Beware of most everything that comes your way wanting money. Even the major banking institutions have their own schemes that regularly lure in the unwary.
End of OT....
