Has anyone gone to Illinois MD with NNCIP?

I am very strongly considering seeing the Illinois physician as I need to find local care. If anyone could post their experience with this company or their Illinois physician I would appreciate it. If I see them, and I'm almost sure I will, I will post my experience as well. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Pastilage

Just an update to anyone interested: I faxed my records in yesterday afternoon and received an email today stating that my records had been approved for an appointment! I am very excited to see this doctor, especially after the good reviews. Thanks so much for posting them.
I will keep folks updated as this seems a very good answer to the ongoing difficulties with traditional OCS.

Well they are 3 for 3 so far with their Illinois doctor. I just had my appointment and have to agree with everything that has already been said. The Dr. was extremely nice and sympathetic to my pain and what I've been through. I am soooo happy to be out of that rat race with OCS's and the waiting game.
The system here for refill is simple. You simply go on their site a few days before your current script is up and request the new refill and they will either send you the script overnight Fed Ex or fax the new script directly to the pharmacy of your choice which is what I will do. That is exactly how it worked years ago with my ortho doctor before he retired. I just called him up and he faxed a script to my pharmacy.
I highly recommend going with NNCIP for anyone that does have good records because there's no hiding it from a doctor that is seeing you face to face and giving you a thorough physical.
Later,

That's great BBM! I really hope that folks who have been in this rat race of OCS's that they will consider using this service or onr like it. It is such a relief to not have to worry about the never-ending delays, uncertainty and confusion not to mention dealing with DHL.
I'm really glad it went well for you, have a wonderful weekend!

BBM They seem solid, why won't they write w/2 refills like a direct script or OCS? Just wondering if you asked them thanks...

Hey Hup,
I never did really ask specifically but I know with the Direct script companies you have to re-consult every 3 month, but here you don't. Your once a year face to face consult is really good for a whole year. You do have to speak by phone with the doctor every 3 months but the doctor told me that it is nothing formal, just to check on us and to see if anything major has changed with our condition. She said it should be nothing more than a few minutes to check on how we're doing.
I suppose some of it is because of money, but with the DB discount it costs just $99 for the refill each month and luckily with my insurance the script is only $15.
Even if it does come out to a little more than using a direct script company for a year, it's well worth it because you are seeing the doctor face to face and don't have to worry about the Alpha's closing it down. Even in the very unlikely event, somthing happened to NNCIP and they shut down, I would still have the relationship with this doctor and could continue seeing her. However, if the same happened with your direct script company, you would be again looking for another company, faxing in more records, hoping your accepted and don't get an idiot doctor etc. You just can't put a price on Peace of Mind.
That's the best explanation I can give you. Anybody else want to chime in??

good points, the value then is having drs. on board.how long before the drs. names get out and we cut out the middle man and go directly to the dr.I guess the OCS will have to have an exclusive contract somehow w/the dr.
