Hello,
I'm new to these forums and enjoy the info on here a lot! What a great community!

Anyways, I was wondering if anybody knows if Canadian pharmacies are allowed to sell AC&C (aspirin, caffeine, and codeine) online? I believe the brand name is "222." If so, does anyone know of a good site? I'm sick of getting my stuff all the way from Australia \:\(

Yeah some of them will sell them to you but they try to charge $69.00 a bottle. It's ridiculous!! They only cost like $10.00 a bottle. I live in Detroit and wanna go over there myself but can't get a straight answer as to whether it is legal.

I'm in Canada. I don't think that crossing the border and buying a bottle of 100 or 200 T1s will be an issue. It's OTC, so you have to ask for it.

But I wouldn't admit to it either on my way back, just say you were shopping/visiting friends or something.

I have travelled to canada and the 222 were very good, but i have yet to order directly from any pharmacy. I plan to try canada rx, i will post and let u kwow.

Have you tried rxpricegrabber.com They carry all of that. I haven't tried them but I have heard good things. They sell several different types of codeine.

A new law in Canada has gone into effect which has effectively shut down the only Canadian-based business that was selling 222s and generics. The law now allows Canadians to buy no more than 100 pills per day; it may be that this applies only per pharmacy but I'm not clear on this. In any event, Americans will have to cross the border by land sea or air to procure them. How pharmacists will handle sales to US customers remains to be seen. Any canadians who know anything more about this should let us know. As others have mentioned, combinations of tylenol and codeine are still available for sale otc in the U.K. and Down Under but whether anyone has made a business out of this is beyond my knowledge.

Thanks for the link. I hope this law only applies to B.C. and isn't federal. I can't find anything about it online but there's no reason these people would be making this up as they were no doubt making lots of do-re-mi and wouldn't have any other reason to close down.

I'm in central Canada and have never heard of a law restricting the sale of OTC tylenol w/codeine.
I bought a bottle of 200 the other day, no questions asked.

I used those guys over a year ago and paid by paypal.Im not sure what payments they take now but after payment I got the package less than a week.No sig was required but products were very fresh.

I live in B.C. and bought a bottle of 200 count T1's the other day. You would maybe limited to the number of bottles you could buy at one time but there are no forms to fill out when you purchase them so no way for them to know if you have made purchases at other pharmacies.

Oh Canada We stand on guard for thee...la-de-da. Thanks for the useful info from our friends to the north. I don't know why this woman would concoct this b.s. which is obviously what it is based on your 1st hand reports. I was going to ask why that livelife site had zero feedback but f it, I'll order and report back. Thanks for the info everybody. Btw, that place in B.C. was canada-discount-rx. They were reliable and quick but pricey.

I tried to order through them and cc order wouldn't process (and no charge showed up on my cc). No replies to support email. I then tried both eplanet's 800# and fax and both were permanently busy. This appears to be one of those ecommerce merchant hosters where the lights are on but nobody's home. I don't know who's paying the bills, but I think it's time to find some good friends in Canada.

Hi all,

I'm a newbie here, but have found this site so helpful and just had to join!

CanadaRXDiscounters has indeed changed. I've ordered from them for over 5 years and always had great service, but things started changing last year. The first thing I noticed was their prices kept going up . . . monthly. I sent them an email about it, and the woman I always communicated with (Anne) said it was due to postage cost increases. I thought that was strange since the markup on the product is so high anyway, but dealt with it.

In December I recieved an email stating that the site was going "private" and long-time customers would receive a login and password via email after the first of the year. I did, and checked the new site: same products, but again higher prices.

In February I went to the site to order Tylenol#1 and the login and password didn't work. I received a notice (that is now on their webpage) to contact them via email to order. When I contacted them via the same Hotmail account I'd been using with them for all these years, I was told by Anne that I needed to open a "secure" email account at Safe-Mail.net and then contact her again. I thought it a bit odd, but did as she asked and contacted her again asking about ordering some Tylenol#1. I received an email back stating that for "security and discretionary reasons" that product was referred to as GT-1. Everything I had written in my email had been wiped out and replaced with this new code word, and the return email (even though from Anne) stated it was coming from "FBBookstore". Anne told me that to order, I needed to send her a new email stating quantity and product code. To pay for the product, I could no longer use Visa/MC but had to send CASH, wrapped in two pieces of plain paper and placed in a regular sized envelope, to a PO Box. She would then contact me via email to let me know when she received the cash and would ship the product.

Wrong. I don't send cash to a PO Box in a foreign country for anything.

So I don't know what happened with them, but wanted to advise any others reading here about them. It all seems a bit strange to me.

I just ordered from them using PayPal's new plugin. It's alot safer than using your own card. I know this is a little off topic but if you want to use PayPal this is the way.
They will generate a 1 time use MC number for you. Never fails, and since it is a 1 time use card I know they won't be able to charge anything else
on it once I place the order. That is the only way I shop at these places anymore.

LiveLife is no more as of a few days ago. I think the new regulation that shut them and c-rx-d down is a requirement that if any part of your business involves selling "behind the counter" products which contain codeine you've gotta have a registered pharmacist on staff and you can only buy 100 at a time from one pharmacy at a time (B.C. only?). That's why our northern neighbors haven't noticed any change when they buy locally (they have to buy from a registered pharmacist) but those of us south of the border are s**t out of luck unless we go north. The big question - is this reg federal and will/can anybody now take the risk of a web-based business servicing the U.S.. Doesn't look good.

LiveLife is still operating at least the site is up and still taking orders but you are now limited as to how many containers you can order.

Yeah I see they're back up. But for how long? It's a good thing there are limits as you don't want to be stocking up and find out the lights have gone out again,this time for good.

Newfoundland and Labrador are the only places in Canada that I can find any information regarding limiting OTC codeine purchases to 100 count. It is still possible to purchase 200 count in BC as I did about 6 wks ago. How much are they charging for T1's shipped to the states? Maybe it is worth it to buy from Australia where you can get 12.8mg codeine/200 mg Ibuprophen products. I think they are about $13/75count.
I know that they were looking at changing the regulations (Australia) for OTC of codeine but I don't think those are not in effect yet so those products are still available.
