Just trying to start a poll about something that has been debated in many different threads, for a long time. Trying to see how the majority feels about this med.

I am curious as to what side effects there were. I took it and it seemed to work fine. I wonder if every one who took part in this poll really has ordered and tried them. jmho
Excellent point. A lot of people who do post negatives about them are just relying on a couple of posts from people they don’t even know who said they had “dangerous” reactions to them.
Don’t believe everything you read here. Not everyone is out to help inform people. This I know for a fact.
As I have said before, I know hydro and they are hydro. I have also researched who manufactures them and they seem legit or at least are not some "basement lab" as others have said.
I was skeptical as well when I first tried them, which is why I did some research (including all the threads here and on other boards) before I did.
They sure are not "dangerous fakes." I don't know where people come up with this GARBAGE.
Trust me, and I have used American hydro for over two years, as well as HUNDREDS of Raj's (OS4U's) hydro, often interchanging them with no noticeable difference .
I have also used Codeine, DHC, and other pain killers, opiate and not. I know the effects and the differences between each. I also have, unfortunately, been ripped off at other places who were selling some pill they claimed were hydro but turned out to be simply Codeine (usually) or DHC (sometimes). I can say without hesitation that OS4U's hydro works just fine and is, indeed, hydro.
But, this debate will never end. I actually think some people want other members here to think they are fake or even dangerous for some reason. Otherwise people are afraid of hydro that isn't American stamped with "Watson" or some other code that American and Canadian manufactures use for all their meds but most overseas pharmacies do not.
Who knows and who cares? Believe what you will. In the meantime I will be happy to continue ordering the well priced hydro from OS4U as I have for months now.

It would be helpful if you would post your research. What pharmaceutical company manufactures hydrocodone outside of the United States? What foreign hydrocodone manufacturer is OS4U using?
Would be appreciated, NYCalt.
Once again, eerily, I was about to make the same post SandyFeet was, almost word for word!
If I had a little more confidence in the product, I'd think they'd be handy to keep around for an emergency.
Thanks to you both!

This is a reply as to your doubts of hydrocodone being manufactured outside of the u.s. I can not speak for raj's hydro. But there is legitimate hydrocodone manufactured out of the u.s. Hydrocodone is available in canada by BRISTOL-MYERS SQUIBB CANADA 2365 COTE-DE-LIESSE SAINT-LAURENT (MONTRÉAL) QUÉBEC CANADA H4N 2M7. This info comes from the health canada webpage. The tablets are called hycodan and are 5mg of hydrocodone
Can you post the link to this web page please?

I apologize for the long delay in replying. I have been busy moving and starting a new job/career lately. Talk about stress!
Anyway, as I have posted several times before on other threads, the pills are made in Spain, not India. That is why Raj says right on the order page that he is "importing them" [to India]. Raj simply takes them out of their box which has all the information that you would be looking for.
Such as contents (7.5 mg hydro, 350mp APAP), manufacturer (Alice Pharma, Spain), bar code, prescription warning, seal with "don't accept warning," etc. It is all there. Should you not believe they are also sold by sites like www.medplus1.com at twice the price as Raj, but with the box (which would obviously increase seizure rates).
Also, keep in mind that most foreign made generic pills have no identifying markings on them..... In fact I can’t think of any, from antidepressants to benzo’s that do. Pill markings in the states are an FDA requirement. Manufacturers in Canada uses them also but that is about it.
Further debate on this subject makes no sense. People will believe what they want as will I. If you don't like them don't order them. But to say a consensus has formed that people think they are garbage is, well, GARBAGE. If you look at other threads on DB about OS4U you will see opinion is quite split. Even this poll is split!
Also, any drug company anywhere in the world could manufacturer hydro, whether it is popular in that country or not. The drug has been around for decades and the patent is long since expired. It is also a very easy drug to manufacturer. Do you know every drug manufacturer in the world? Just because they are not widely used doesn't mean they can't be made by some very smart small drug company for things like, well, internet sales.
In any case, as I said, I have been using them for many months without incident. I have used Codeine and I have used DHC. They are neither. I was also an American hydro user for several years before domestic NROP’s that sell them went the way of the do-do bird. I feel pretty confident saying that I know hydro quite well and its differences from other opiates, opioids, and other assorted pain killers.
But, to each his own. All I know is they are indistinguishable for me and I have switched between them and U.S. hydro even on the same day many times with no noticeable difference. How people claim they receive pills that smell or whatever is beyond me. Through many, many orders from Raj I have never had a bad batch or one that didn’t work like hydro is supposed to. That is all the proof I need.

All I can say is I have used them, interchanged with American hydro when I can get it, for over 5 months now and have never had a "bad reaction," or "diesel fuel smell" (although I do smell the plastic casing sometimes when I first opne it up) of any kind or, for that matter, noticed much difference in effects.
From what I understand, though, he is using the same supplier as he always did. They are the round, white, unmarked tablets in flat plastic cases, which is normaly inside the box with a sticker on it but Raj removes them from. I even saw the outline of it on the plastic cases several times. The sticker, once again, states the "Vikodin" brand name and contents as 7.5mg hydro, 350 mg of APAP.
However, I am sure they are the same as the ones I ordered from medplus1 and some other site whose name I can't remember (they were even more expensive!) that were in the box and manufactured in Spain. It is possible that they were old, however, as the ones I ordered from medplus1 to investigate them back in April, had an expiration date of June 2006 (manufacture date of June 2004).
If you notice on the medplus1 web site they are called "Vikodin" there as Raj used to call them. Everyone made fun of him BIG TIME and some dissmissed them for that, but that is the brand name that is imprinted on the box....

Goodness, how long will this go on? It is a fact that some people react differently to the same medication with different fillers. Anyone read on this board about Greenstones vs. Sandoz/Gadors, etc.? And I prefer Sandoz lorazepam to Watson anyday. And if it doesn't work for you then stop ordering it! He offers plenty of medications that are top notch. Some better than I have ever had in the US or Europe.
And it is just hydrocodone for god's sake. There is too much aspirin/tylenol in any Vik. product to ever give adequate pain relief. Your liver might hate you for it though. You have to eat enough Tylenol to kill a horse just for the mildest effect. I can't even get my new doc to prescribe anxiety/sleep medication, yet when I cracked my ribs I got 3 40mg. OC's a day plus 4 5mg a day of oxycodone for breakthrough pain. Although our entire medical system is completely backwards, it may be a hassle, but if you suffer from chronic pain, there are MRI's, Xrays, etc. and you will eventually find a compassionate doctor. It seems much harder to prove GAD/PD/PTSD. But that's okay, because all of Raj's anxiety meds I have tried have been great.
BTW, a friend of mine (yes a friend) just twisted his ankle pretty badly and was prescribed 90# 15mg. morphine. Maybe it is just the area I live in, I don't know. Anyone want to do a house swap?

I've just had 10 DHC120's. I didn't know they were time released and my throat is in agony. I'm taking Amoxil 250mg 4 times a day but it's absolute agony.
If that weren't bad enough, i order 90 of my usual Duromine (Phentermine) pills and receive 500 dexamfetamine instead. Not to mention I'm having loads of hassle with Paypal who refuse to see my mother as an independent person. Yawn!

NyCalt -- I agree - I was in Canada a few months back for work and had to go to the walk in ER - I was given "Vik" at the clinic and they were the 7.5/350 type in a unmarked white oval tablet I may have some left if so will post a photo - they worked just fine - I think everyones chemistry (upstairs and down) is a little different --

who makes 7.5/350?
i will double check but i am fairly confident that no one makes 7.5/350.
i know they make 7.5/325-7.5/500-7.5/750 and i think that endo makes a zydone that is 7.5/400 however i could be wrong but i will double check.

Although I've never managed to get the vicodan sold in the US as its not used in my country to my knowledge I have used Raj's vicodan. I obviously cannot do a proper comparison but I have noticed effects different to codeine, DHC, dextroproproxyphene and Tramadol.
I have a back injury (sustained during a session with a chiropractor following a minor car accident - which produces severe pain similar to sciatica but a permanent sharp pain in both legs for a few days each month. My doctor tells me to take ibuprufen for it but that doesn't even touch the pain so I have to self medicate. I initially ordered darvocet from raj (darvocet aka co-proximal is generally no longer prescribed in the UK because some ppl accidentally killed themselves by taking a relatively small number with some alcohol) as I'd been prescibed it and it had reduced the pain enough for me to function but decided to try the vikodan because I'd heard it was stronger so I decided to risk trying them.
Yes I sued both the chiropractor and the driver and the manufacturer and retailer of my own car as the air bag didn't go off. I sued them because my teeth and upper jaw bone were damaged but easily fixed with the settlement. OK, so I'm an evil serial suer but the man shouldn't have been drunk and they should've made the car better. I also once got an out of court settlement because some automatic doors didn't open at a supermarket and I walked straight into them - not deliberately. All I had to do was tell the manager my intention to sue and get a letter written. Probably shouldn't have said that as its not that funny. Society has gotten so litigious even to the point that my 92 year old grandmother got paid £100,000 for a couple of scratches she got on her hand from tripping on the pavement and six months later twice as much for slipping in a supermarket and fracturing her wrist. Currently she's suing the council again... I'm actually despised by some relatives because I convinced her she should have a go the first time and they regard me as a charlatan because I can still dance etc as well as I could before the accident. Unfortunately pain cannot really be proved)
One day I got the pain particularly bad and took a couple of vikodan. I can't honestly say I found them that pleasurable but the pain had completely gone. I simply felt fuzzy, physically numb and a little confused. Perhaps opiates affect me a bit differently to most people as for the most part I don't experience euphoria. A couple of nitrazepam are better if I feel I need something for "psychological discomfort." Raj's banana clonazepam are nice too (the fact they they are dispersible is slightly disturbing really - it makes me wonder if people give them to their children to keep them quiet. I know a fair few ppl who are overly liberal with the calpol) Both benzos actually reduce my physical pain too, even on their own.
I agree with the person who posted that the fillers and binders in medicines can change their effects. In the UK I can get co-codamol ( 500mg paracetmol/acetaminphen with 8-12.5 mg of codeine phosphate depending on brand. Some contain codeine phosphate hemihydrate instead) Generally I use the cheap generics that cost £1.15-£2 ($2.25-$4) for 32 (UK online pharmacies will often ship them to the US, along with Paramol (containing 7.46 mg DHC per pill)and also a anti-diarrhea medication that I've forgotten the name of but contains morphine, although not really enough to make it worth your while - 20mg a bottle. There are also losenges/tablets containing it but avoid these as they contain other active ingredients).
Anyway back to the point, different generics can affect me very differently. One made by Boots (8mg codeine phosphate hemihydrate) make my gums and nose go numb, those manufactured by another company, containing the same stuff makes me dizzy to the point I've fallen over but they didn't get rid of the pain whereas the Boots one's did. Another produced by a different company containing codeine phosphate make my nose run and reduced pain, another make me itch but didn't get rid of pain. One brand actually causes a dull ache in my jaw but gets rid of the leg & back pain but the jaw ache is just as bad. Taking paracetamol with pholcodeine (cough syrup with 1mg per ml of codeine phosphate, ethanol, chloroform, sugar and other stuff) can be the best choice with less side effects as long as not too much is taken. Itching and rhinitus are the usual side effects from this and can be gotten rid of with antihistamines but these will probably make me go to sleep.
Raj's vicodan look alot like a cheap version of the health suppliment glucoseamine and so hiding them isn't too hard. I can keep enough in the house without too much fear of arrest if they are seen. Everything else I only dare keep a couple of doses in as my local police force are very heavy handed on anyone they believe to be a drug user, even cancer patients have been given suspended sentances for simple possession of cannabis even though its been downgraded to a class C drug. They tricked a friends mother into saying she'd share her cannabis with a fellow cancer patient. She got a 3 year suspended sentance and a fine. Someone else I know was robbed and thumped in a shopping centre and the culprit only got 200 hours of community service. Also in the area I live only 2.5% of rapes result in a conviction. Sorry to rant. I also appologise for rambling - I believe I got up yesterday morning.
