Very important:
To OCS owners and reps: please do not ask our members to PM you their real names or reference numbers. That info must be provided by email. Please do not use our board for customer service. Answer questions in a general way. Do not ask our members to give up their anonymity. Do not ask our members to give you their real name.
To our members: do not disclose your username to OCS's. It is very important to remain anonymous. If you disclose your name and username you will not be able to post in an anonymous way. If OCS's know your name an username they may be forced to deny you service based on your posts... and you may not be able to post as you wish if something goes wrong.
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT OUR MEMBERS REMAIN anonymous. DO NOT DISCLOSE YOUR USERNAME TO ANYONE!
We know this is in the best interest of all. We have seen that those that do not follow this recommendation end up with problems that could have been avoided...
This is not about LE. This is common sense and about privacy...
Some examples of what can go wrong very wrong: You give your board username to a co-worker. He gives it to your boss. Your boss does not like what you post: you are fired You tell your wife / husband your board username. She, he uses what you posted to file a divorse You tell your friends your board username... you post you just received your order... someone breaks into your house You give your username to an OCS rep. They deny you service based on what you posted
To share info on buying meds, prescription drugs, your health, and medicine... privacy is a must... that is why patients info is protected so much...
Please: remain anonymous!
Please post other good reasons to remain anonymous online...
Try using different usernames to log at OCS's and IOP's and if your board username is "crazychicken999" do not think that people can not figure out who you are if your email is crazychicken999@hotmail.com
Thank you

Thanks for the game. It made my day. I was dumb enough to go through the whole thing. I have a boring life.

I understand the need to keep anonymous. However I can tell you that I recently had an email exchange with someone who was answering a question I posted. Very pretty lady with 200+ cheery posts, if that's her picture. The woman sounded very deeply disturbed. Disturbed enough for me to worry about her and her safety. Either out of realizing what she had written or because of her mental condition, she set a block on her account to refuse all email. I wish I could see if she's OK.

Can I have an anonymous name so I can throw customers under the bus at will, with out any real reason to do so except that I did not get my way?

Instead of throwing YOUR CUSTOMERS under the bus why don't you take care of it in a private way, not on an Internet forum. Sounds a little more professional to me anyway.

Sorry if this has been covered already...
But does/has DB provided LE with webserver logs? I've seen sights in the past that simply don't keep webserver logs at all... that would be a little comforting to those posting on this board.
Looks like this website is hosted in NC, USA... This means logs could be obtained from Vertex Hosting directly without even having to Notify DB, so maybe my question is moot...
