Step 1: select a medication
Step 2: leave it at 1
Step 3: select the medication you want to convert to

(you can leave that percentage at zero)

So for example you put in morphine (oral) in step one, 1 for step 2, codiene (oral) in step three, and click calculate, and it tells you that you have to take 6.67mg of codiene (oral) to equal 1mg of morphine (oral). So if you had 60mg of morphine it would be roughly equivalent to 400mg of codiene.

(I say roughly because you have to adjust that percentage thing to be more accurate)

I had a narcotics converter once but it broke. I couldn't find anyone qualified to fix it.

in the cross tolerance thing 20% or below should be good. entering 0 will give you the exact equivlant without factoring in cross tolerance
