downgrade from vista license. they pay for vista and downgrade to XP.

LOL....I actually tried that trick earlier - no dice.

I believe that the HD overheated and fried. I didn't realize it when I bought them, but these are "silent" models - hence no cooling fan.

Where I had it there wasn't good enough air flow.

Lesson learned the hard way.

Let me know how that Win7 upgrade goes - I'm still a bit queeezy about doing it.

Been Using It A Couple Days Now...Definitely More stable when you have multiple things going on --- like it's less resource hungry.
