You know what though. That was a good idea. My house usually lights up the whole block. Nobody needs their porch lights on. My hubby buys a new Xmas fixture every year and adds on. I usually have mine set on a timer to go off around midnight or so. He started doing this years ago. Him and my BIL compete with each other every year. I will have to get a pic. Last year I made Xmas cards out of them.

That's cool! My hubby could care less, well, actually couldn't care less, lol. I lost all my decorations in the fire. The glass ornaments packed in those popcorn tins are gone too. I think someone took them because i speficically told the supervisor to keep those. Most of the damage, except in the bedroom closest to the fire, was from the people that pack you up. Hubby's HD and puter parts were just thrown in boxes.

At least I get to start over at WallyWorld. I found a great site that has spun glass ornaments too. I've been addicted to spun glass stuff since I was 6 or 7.

I love to drive around and see all the Christmas lights and I also wish I could be there when those people get their electric bills.
