Flaming/Flame Wars: Flaming is reacting to posts or PM's in a hostile manner by publicly chastising the person or bombarding the person with nasty posts or PM's. Flaming may occur to users that engage in behavior that violates what is considered proper board netiquette. A flame war occurs when two or more users hit each other in an escalating manner that threatens to continue unabated. If you notice a flame war developing just notify the moderator or adminitrator and let them handle it. Do not take part in flame wars. If you do you will be banned even if you did not start it :-)
I have noticed that mine is always shipped on a Thursday. I mean for the last six since I started to count. It then takes 4-6 days for me to get it, 4 being average so far. So I imagine if he gets it on Thursday after he has shipped I think he waits until the next Thursday to ship mine out. That increases my wait time, he doesn't ship everyday. At least that is a theory of mine and it seems to be holding true for me at least.

He hasn't posted his "holiday shutdown" dates on the web site yet. Past years it's been the first week in December through the first week in January. I was hoping to receive this week to try and get one more order completed before the holiday. I don't know, with recent delays I'm not too confident of that happening. I'm at 24 days and counting. His web site says delivery can be 9 to 28 days so I won't e-mail him until I pass 28 days. (play by the Rules) I think I remember in past years sending in a payment in November thinking it would beat the holiday shutdown and being wrong. Guess we should prepare for that possibility.

I think this may be an illustration of one of the basic philosophical differences between Yanks and Europeans....Here in the states its generally considered a good thing to have eager customers....

He used to be referred to here as the 'soup Nazi'. I have never had a problem with him or his Rules but other people obviously do.
I had a hard time believeing any IOP would actually pay the postage to send your money back then ban you - but that's what they say.
I hate the stupid plastic sleeve and since I dont need these meds everyday I end up with a surplus. I donate them to a friend that has liver issues and cant tolerate any APAP.

I would say he has these Rules so he can continue to serve his long time paying customers better and never run into a situation when he has major troubles sending them their stuff. He has customers that have been with him yrs such as myself.
One of the major problems these IOPs have is their customer base gets to big and they can't supply them and go out of business. He has managed to stay in the game along time, he is actually pretty smart.

Funny you mentioned the pattern of day of the week shipped. I always forget to look at that, but today I received (25 day turnaround) and I realized that 90% of the time I receive on Saturday! Interesting. Well needless to say I got the payment in the mail already to try and beat the holiday closure.

That makes sense. I guess I'm just counting on him a bit too much since its the only place I've found that is "for real". I'd settle for one order a month but would prefer two. I guess I'm just getting antsy since my package is past a week overdue (based on past orders)--and the holiday is almost here. I hope those last orders weren't just throwing good money after bad---but I sent him an email explaining that I was just worried that my last order was "lost in the mail" and I sent the two extra "to make sure one gets through before the holiday shutdown"---which I don't feel is TOO unreasonable...But that jambalaya is some pretty tasty soup---so I hope I'm Kramer and not Elaine!(LOL)
Does anybody know the Rules behind buying codesian over the counter in Spain? If its as simple as plopping down the money---or even bribing some wino to go in and get it for me---I may have to take a trip!

The phone number I have is old and doesn't work anymore. I asked on the forum for the new one and was told that I should e-mail B for the new #. I got the impression that they had the new # but felt that if B-man wanted me to have it he'd answer my e-mail. Fortunately whatever it was that I wanted to contact him about got straightened out. To be honest I've only ever talked to him on the phone once, but on a few occasions I've gotten answers by e-mail.

only wrote him twice---once to say "haven't gotten my order---can I confirm if you got it?"---and once to say "can I get that phone #?"---which he gave me. I hope he doesn't "no soup for you" me--based on his excellent pricing---but if he does I'll just suck it up and start paying (a lot) more to someone else and have some idea if my next order is coming or not. I really don't think I've been unreasonable or impatient with him--and I'm certainly not going to walk on eggshells to ask a question. I even told him I don't hold him responsible if it disappeared (ya spins the wheel and takes yer chances; same as anything else in life--odds get crappy you walk away) But I'm running out of my surplus "squirreled away for a rainy day" meds---and that gave me a three week margin of error----I am just such a stingy cheap a$$ that I'd really hate to start having to pay five times biotrans rate just to insure timely delivery---I don't care WHEN it comes---as long as I know IF its coming (or not--so I can make other plans.).
BTW---you're in England? Why not pop over to Spain on a weekend and pick some up over the counter? I used to drive 200 miles or more on the weekend to pick up my supply (back before I discovered the internet)---hop on a train, man!

Really, my plan is to never contact him again (outside of placing orders) once I have confirmed that everything is business as usual----with luck my package will come before the weekend and I won't even need to do that...
You see---I'm operating on the principle of "what if I'd never heard of his site outside of stumbling onto it?"---if I didn't have this forum telling me "don't worry---this is normal" I'd probably be pretty upset. I most likely would have shot off a (much less polite and patient) email or two by now---not to try to resolve anything---but rather;just to be insulting, as by now I would have assumed that I was outta luck. I'm just glad I DO know about this forum.
Strange though; how his first few orders were precise and uniform and this ones almost a month...If I was "flying blind"--I'd be "no soup"-ed for sure...thnx 2 all you for the 411s

Yeah but Wayne just doesn't care if you are waiting and don't know.
Don't remember if you said it or not, but back when I ordered from him, he emailed me when my sample order was sent and told me it went out.

I skipped the samples. I also have a sneaking suspicion that those are somehow handled by different hands. Yeah---it doesn't really bother me though that he doesn't care how long as long as he comes through in the end, and while his punctuality may be suspect--his reliability(for coming through in the end), product, and pricing seem to be solid. I just hope I can keep ordering from him---cause if I even get nine or ten shipments a year (out of a desired 14-24)--I should be able to count on my doctor for the rest---I just hate to ask my doctor for too many (or even as many as I genuinely need) because of the pressure the powers that be put on him. I'm always worried that someone will say-"Hey; you're giving mouse23 too many meds!" and I'll be cut off and set adrift completely. Right now he gives me an average of 30-45 vicodin (the little ones--5mg) a month---which means one order from Wayne (per month)will make my life livable; and two will make my life golden. Its really supposed to be just supplemental for me---but in truth I really kind of need those extra. I have considered adding a second company to order from--but since I believe in maintaining a "standing order"--I'd end up with a surplus if they BOTH came through every month...

I think we have to keep in mind that he is British not American. If you can communicate with him as one Britisher to another he will respond in great detail to any concerns you may have. Brits are not Americans and they read things differently than Americans do. If you come across as another bloody pushy American you might not even get a response. If you have ever worked wih people in the UK you wil know what I mean. You have to remember that the language is called English and not American.
Got no intention of being pushy, rude, or adversarial in any way. Frankly; "I'm taking your money AND I'm not sending you jack-$hit" is an acceptable answer and would upset me not one whit. It wouldn't be the first time I got ripped off--and probably won't be the last. But sitting with my thumb up my a$$ without knowing one way or the other is not acceptable. He said in his email that the order would take less than five minutes to look up after I call--so I see no reason NOT to call. Anything I have to lose by it is technically gone already (not like I could cancel payment on cash)---worst case scenario: I find out whats going on, write off 180 bucks, and never have to think about it again. But right now I check my mail and get a bit more annoyed every day. Like I've said before; I don't mind if it disappeared in a puff of smoke or is just late--I do mind not knowing; because every day it doesn't come is another day with it on my mind--and really; I just don't want to give it another thought. I want to rest assured that my order is either A:GONE or B:COMING (albeit late)

When I know those things my worries will be completely put aside. If he sent it out more than a week ago I'll know it was gobbled up by the "mail gremlins".
Is that really too much bother for Wayne? That's ridiculous--if so: you officially get better customer service from random people on the street that you've never met before. At least with that situation you know whats up in less than 5 minutes. It says on his site that delivery can take up to 28 days--so to call after four weeks (as it will be on sunday--day 30) should be okay.
Shouldn't it?
The British I have know have all been quite reasonable and amenable to simple and unassuming questions. It's not like I want to give him any grief--I just want to know whats up.

Wait the 28 days and then e-mail him if you still haven't received. Just say that you sent payment XX days ago and haven't received and wanted to know if he could advise you what to do. My last took 24 days. With him it's "keep it short, sweet and simple".
