I have heard that this is still scripted in canada, but I don't know this for sure. I have read on the DEA microgram bulletins that there are fake 'ludes going around in parts of the united states that are just diazepam.

just read on wikipedia that it is still made in canada. and in south africa under the name "Mandrax" which is 250mg of methaqualone and 5mg diphenhydramine.

Wikipedia is incorrect. Methaqualone has been in the highest rating of scheduled drugs in South Africa for several years now. It is however a highly popular clandestinely manufactured street drug there now.

Wikipedia does state that the drug is 'made', but it does state that it is not made legally:
