Hi all. I've been trying to call back just to give to give these fake creeps a hard time. I think they are on to the fact that no one thinks they're for real. Now the number rings and then just hangs up or else it's answered by machine with a full mailbox. Darn, I was hoping to have some fun. He'd rattled off a bunch of OCS firms, some with USA in the titles that I'd never heard of that he said I'd been ordering from, Specificaly Feb of last year. (Um, never!!) I was in really big trouble and the local authorities were just waiting for the word from him, Christopher Wallace, badge number 1185. Phone number - for what it's worth, is 718-577-2940. He never did get around to saying just excatly how I could get out of all the trouble was in, (by paying money, I'm sure.) He got tired of me acting like it's a joke, said the authorities would be here in ten minutes (I'm in CA) and hung up on me. If anyone can find . out anything about tyhis number, besides the fact that it's in Queens, NY, I'd LOVE to hear! Christopher Wallace? Ha Ha. Had you ever ordered Soma online from an NROP? No need to answer and incriminate yourself. I am going to start calling people as Kevin Watson or D rt West Ward and saying the same thing! (I kid!) What a joke these people are! I hope they get busted for fraud and whatever other charges can be thrown at these low life scumbags preying on people in pain.

Hi All:
Well, the newest wrinkle in this series of calls came to me yesterday. Remember I was the one back a few pages in this string who, along with PW Rain and a few others got calls from a "DEA agent named Peter Franco". Okay, yesterday I get a call from a "Jim" or "Tim", no accent, sounded American, and saying (after I pressured him for a name), that he was from "Health Providers" a pharmacy that serviced 100's (his words) of companies and that he knew I took such-and-such, he recited my actual condition, (he was completely accurate!) and told me he could send me a refil of a product and I could order now. I told him no, that once a long time ago I had done this (I know!~!! STUPID STUPID, ) and that I wouldn't pay money for fakes again. He said he would ship under the following conditions: (now get this, here come the part/scam I don't get), and of course it sounds too good to be true and I cannot find the hole in it and would like advice: He says I could go to WU, pay the money he requires, get the MTCN (but NOT tell him the MTCN at this point)and then call him for the order which he would send out overnight to the adress I specified. I am to then take delivery, try the product and make sure the quality is fine with me. And then, and only then, I am to call him (the honor system?) and give him the WU MTCN number so he can go and pick up the money to get paid. Okay, where is the hole in this I'm not seeing? Can I, say, if the product was chaulk, actually get my money back from WU if no one picks it up and they do not have the MTCN numbber?
I am temped to try this because it does seem I cannot loose or I am just the most foolish person around? Would very much be interested in anyone's sage advice - Rain? Some of the old hands here? Stevo? Anyway, hope everyone's holidays were pain free and that this year has begun easily for all. Many thanks! Citrus

I just got a phone call (202 239 8744)from a man who gave a name (that I did not catch) and said he was from the DEA and that they have been investigating me for 2 years for buying narcotics on the telephone. "Do you know that is illegal," he asked. I just laughed and said, "I have never done that and I don't believe you. But thank you for calling," and I hung up laughing in his ear. You see, I have never bought any drugs, narcotics or otherwise, "over the phone," as my bogus DEA guy said. But I have been getting constant phone calls from men who give a name and then the name of drug company who say a variation, "Oh Dr. Whatever has approved your refill." Or "We are having a sale on hydro." Well, guys, I have not ordered anything from anybody since the law changed back in April., so Dr. Whatever could not have approved a refil for a nonenxistent prescription. What I do realize is that my phone number and name are out there on some lists. And it is scary to think where my name and phone number is posted. I used Chat, that now infamous company, so I can only assume that my name was sold. So now crooks who are pretending to peddle pain killers and crooks who try to intimidate people by posing as DEA agents all have my information. I have nevered ordered once from these phone peddlers yet they continue to call. I wondered if the guy posing as a DEA agent was in retaliation for not buying? I wish I knew now to irradicate my name from these lists, but I suspect that is impossible. Unless anyone has some ideas?? Are people still getting these phone calls.

These folks are brilliant! The "hole" is that this way they can slide through step 1 of the scheme more easily. It saves them headache of the hard sell to haggle with the victim in order to get you to actually part with monies based on an unsolicited phone call. The scammers can go right on to the extortion scheme that has been noted by member Snippets and threaten you with "attempted conspiracy" charges if you don't pay the upcoming "fine" (by Western Union). The scammers must have found that the fake "FDA/DEA/CIA/Interpol" agent call is much more lucrative for them. The scammers also leave less of a trail this way thereby making it less likely that they themselves will be set up this way. FDA Warns Public of Continued Extortion Scam by FDA Impersonators To keep these scams going, they need to add new wrinkles periodically. p2a
