I see someone getting over charged almost everytime I look at this forum. These ROP's know that thier days are coming to an end and they are doing everything they can to get that extra $. And if you think they give one sh*t about you, you are mistaken they could give a flying f*[censored]. I'm sorry but this is just the truth... Hope you all find good local docs that will treat you right. God Bless and Good luck!

I sure hope their days are not coming to an end - money talks, and there is a big market and big money to be made for this type of service!

Because of the current state of affairs, delays, lost refills etc., I've had to switch from hydro to Tramadol, but it just doesn't work as well for pain, and I have this 'edge of withdrawal' feeling all the time.

for those that voted that they have never been ripped off, it sure would be nice to hear which rop has served you so well, share?

i've never gotten ripped off as in "order never sent" or receiving a sack of rocks...

i HAVE noticed rapid (recent) increase in prices. saving up for legal costs? being predatory, knowing that most of us, in R/L, are under-treated? (i'd hate to conceive of their preying on folks. nevertheless...) increased overhead? (after all: they ARE in business, and costs are up all 'round:

the average cost of a gallon of milk is somewhere around $4.00, and here a loaf of healthful bread is nearly the same. if you're lucky, you can find off-brand dough-ball white bread for about a dollar.

so.

a $28 bottle of iop coedine cough med that was seized.

when I sent copy of ll, he sent me another one. later I noticed he had charged my card for that one too.

I lost quite a few refills thru the bestrxcare-chat-bluestar mess, but now 7 months later, they are working successfully to make it up to us.

I was recently scammed by ERMeds they charged me a consult fee issued 1 script and then requested more records before releasing the refills, I complied. I was then told there would be no more scripts because they Dr said my records were not good enough. I said they were good enough last month when you collected the consult fee. They replied I'm sorry but the Dr. has the final word. I said shouldn't I be able to get a partial refund? At which point the quit communicateding with me.

I've never been outright scammed (ie rock incident sort of thing), but I've been dicked around just like most people on here have - meds come late, get WAY overcharged for shipping, no phone calls answered, no emails answered, no tracking number until AFTER the package has been delivered. And, of course, been Completely overcharged for meds. But then, I figure the absolute Vast majority of us on here have been through that at one point or another.

I swear, once I get through med school, at least some of ya'all are gonna have a doc who actually gives two bowel movements about ya. \:\)

Dozens have reported that ERM did this. And those are just the ones we know of. Several said they even sent in excellent updated records, even though the original ones were only a few months old. Obviously ERM knew what was going down (yeah, their business!)and profited in a big way.

Only 20% say that they have NOT been ripped off by an OCS? Wow! That is not a good industry track record. How are we defining "ripped off" here anyway? That definition will have a bit of bearing on the question, no?

people who were overcharged, forgot discount, charged more that website stated, etc.

people who lost refills, or whose records were approved for consult, but then not good enough for refills.

people who were charged for meds they never got, and weren't able to retrieve their money.

that would be my definition. I am in the 80%, and suprised it isn't higher.

just the prices alone are a rip off!
why they think cp people can afford $300 a month on meds, living on a fixed income,is beyond me.

direct scripts are the most affordable, but not everyone wants to use that.

most rop's are there for the money. why doesnt our health mean more to them than a few dollars>?

It appears that ROPs do good in the beginning then once they build a customer base they seem to start doing crappy jobs. I dont get it you should always want to make your customers to be happy. Go figure.

sadly, i've been ripped-off by someone who was consistent and known on the boards for years. so were a lot of people, though - but is anyone really surprised? i don't think so. it's the nature of the beast.
