Have you got a dry cough, Salvia?

Lidlewonder, please enlighten me, what does it matter what his condition is (or lack thereof) because it's completely private. If you think he is a recreational drug user, simply Notify the admin/mods.

Why not just go to the local pharmacy and buy Robitussin, or one of the various other brands of the drug?

Well, fella, if it's a "completely private" matter, then maybe they shouldn't be on a public message board asking questions about what is essentially a recreational drug.
Any question you can possibly think of can be answered by using a search engine, including where to buy DXM - in syrup form, capsules or otherwise.

With a screen name like SALVIA, I doubt he/she is after pure DXM cough syrup, which as Nephro mentioned, is available OTC in almost every chemists in the UK. More like the poster is after pure powdered DXM - and there's only one reason why someone would want that...

If the OP is after DXM for one of it's off-label uses for pain, then I apologise. Try DexAlone if you can get it, or travel to Poland where they sell that stuff like aspirin and nobody has worked out it's abuse potential.

Anyway, as with anything, search and you will find...

Understood; but why do you have to assume ones intentions. Granted, on first glance it does seem as if he is a recreational drug user, however, clearly a good proportion of the people here who ask for Oxycodone are very much that. So why don't you go try your luck grilling some of them? Fair is fair right wink

And then you went on to talk about its off-label usage for pain...? Ambiguity, sir?

Nevertheless, the probability of someone coming on the board seeking DXM for pain is slim, but I don't think it is up to us to make that redundant judgement?

Nothing personal though, I enjoy most of your contributions, and I do quite like Lidl.

You got me there. lol

Most people poo-poo Lidl because it's so cheap, but some of the food is actually pretty decent. I'm a bit of a food snob, so I wouldn't shop there if it was awful.
I think I'm drifting off-topic here...

Yeah, far better than a "toff shop" for yuppies, like Waitrose and all that sh*te.

The golden rule in Lidl and Aldi is this: if you find something you really like, buy the whole lot, because next week it will be gone. Lidl's mature cheese slices are the best for 99p, and their piccalilli is superb, even if it is fluorescent.

Beecham's Cough Caps were the strongest dextromethorphan product last I knew, because they were extended-release. I'm not sure if they are still around.
