From what I've read on this site, it appears that other sites in the same community are trying to cash in on Friendly's large client base. I believe, but couldn't prove it, that if you click on the link they send in the emails, that it's not actually friendly clinic sending the link, but another pharmacy. So Friendly clinic is getting your order, and so is another pharmacy. I won't give my pharmacy grief over what happened since I got two packages, but I've decided not to click on the links anymore. (in my case, it wasn't friendlyclinic, but it was another pharmacy linked in that same network of about 1,000 pharmacies that do the "fill out the form and get your order the next day community).
I always clicked on the links my pharmacy sent me, and have been for several years with absolutely no problems. The problems started maybe 6 or 8 months ago (? no sure of dates) for other members.
So I've decided to play it safe and go directly to my pharmacy's site, fill out the form and therefore try to prevent someone from filling me twice. The small amount (less than $100.00) doesn't bother me, but it bothers me that some day whoever is hacking and taking numbers will go on huge shopping sprees with our cc's and we'll have to clean up the mess the next month when our bill's come in.
All of this is just conjecture, as I don't think any of us know for sure. It could be Friendly doing it, one of the other pharmacies doing it, etc. as a way to bring in extra money, but in a way I can't believe that because if you tried to refill early on the site that you use constantly they will automatically tell you it's too early. I simply wait until I get an email from some made up name saying it's time for a refill, then I go to my particular site and fill out the information in the morning and get the package the next morning. The one item I order is scheduled but not controlled like pain medicines, and in real life you'd need a prescription to get them outside of cyberspace.(everything on those websites would require a prescription and no pharmacist could just fill a prescription if you walked in and said I want "so and so" so they have to be scheduled)
Just my thoughts on this after reading around a bit for months, especially when it first started happening. Since it didn't happen to me I continued to click on the links every month since it literally has all information and all you have to do to check "yes" to a few questions and you're done, versus filling out huge parts of the form over and over. Now I open an old email, copy the parts about my condition so I don't have to retype it all, and then hit submit. I could be completely off base.*shrug*. JMHO

Strangely, I just received a package from God knows who, but I assume it's Friendly because it came without a COD. So they did charge my card, while the whole time claiming I had no order history with them? And not a single email, yet this thing shows up, unexpected. Exactly what happened to me a few months ago. Also, since my bank has an extra fee for foreign transactions, I see that all these cartadmin run sites use a foreign card processing service. The site is in US, the Dr's are (I assume), and the pharmacies they use definitely are in the US, but the foreign transaction fee still occurs each time.

Not that I'm complaining, but I'd prefer to be somewhat notified of my own purchases.
Also, I already went elsewhere, so now I have to pay again. I suppose these pills will just be back-ups, I may need them eventually. Weird. wow, thats crazy. better check you bank account and see if there is a charge for it. You CAN fight that charge and get your money back.
