DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

For most patients, the recommended dose is 50 mg taken, as needed, approximately 1 hour before sexual activity. However, VIAGRA may be taken anywhere from 4 hours to 0.5 hour before sexual activity. Based on effectiveness and toleration, the dose may be increased to a maximum recommended dose of 100 mg or decreased to 25 mg. The maximum recommended dosing frequency is once per day.

The following factors are associated with increased plasma levels of sildenafil: age >65 (40% increase in AUC), hepatic impairment (e.g., cirrhosis, 80%), severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance <30 mL/min, 100%), and concomitant use of potent cytochrome P450 3A4 inhibitors [ketoconazole, itraconazole, erythromycin (182%), saquinavir (210%)]. Since higher plasma levels may increase both the efficacy and incidence of adverse events, a starting dose of 25 mg should be considered in these patients.

In my personal experience it retains a loong lasting erection but interferes with orgasm

It is called women's viagra or female viagra.
It does not have as good of results as in men; helps about 20% of women who use it. That is because while increased bloodflow may increase lubrication, women's sexual disfunction or lack of desire is more likely to be rooted in the relationship itself.

Sorry, there is no such thing as "female Viagra."
If you're just talking about women taking Viagra pills, yeah that's been going on almost since the day it was introduced for male impotence.

Does anyone know if there is a significant problem with counterfeit Viagra? I ordered and tried a generic under a different name which I think is made in India. I was comfortable with the labelling and the blister packaging, but it seemed less effective than Pfizer's Viagra. So I ordered 100 mg brand-name Viagra pictured on a website in a blister pack of four, each pill saying Pfizer on one side and VGR 100 on the other. What I got was loose pills the right shape and color with VCR 100 on one side and nothing on the other.

Generic Viagra from India called (KAMAGRA)in my opinion and many of my friends opinion 100 mg Kamagra does better for me than brand name Viagra.JMHO B.D.

Hi, I also have some that clearly say "VCR 100" on one side and are blank on the other. Have you tried yours yet?

Yes, they don't seem to have the same amount of the active ingredient as the Pfizer 100mg pills. There are a lot of this type of medication that is counterfeit. These are the same shape and color as the real Viagra but no Pfizer name on them and different letters on the other side and perhaps half as potent, although claiming to be the same strength.
