Hi Folks, Long time reader, first time poster. I received a shipment today from an IOP which had been opened and inspected. I've been ordering for over a year with no issues until now. The sticker is from the HHS/FDA Action and basically says they're forwarding the medication to me rather than sending to customs. Here's the part that has me worried: "We have permitted delivery of these unapproved medications to you. Despite your receipt of this shipment, further importations of unapproved prescription pharmaceuticals may be refused admission into the USA. For further information regarding FDA's policy on the importation of foreign source pharmaceuticals contact your local FDA office." While I received the shipment(which, btw, is an Advair inhaler, 30 xanax, and some Ampicillan) I'm concerned. -Am I and/or my address on some sort of 'watch list' with customs and/or the FDA? -How concerned should I be? Thanks in advance for your advice and support.

Thanks in advance for your advice and support. Neelie, Are you a COPD patient? The reason I ask is that, if your package was opened by anyone with knowledge of medicines and the combination of them, I could see them letting the Xanax go through with your Advair. People who have trouble breathing often have panic attacks if they do something that makes it hard for them to breath. My mother is a COPD patient who takes Advair and another inhaler, and her doctor also prescribes Xanax in the .25mg for her to take when she panics over not being able to breath. He said it's extemely common for asthma or COPD patients to also take small doses of xanax to combat anxiety. It was just my first thought when I saw you posted that you ordered both Advair and Xanax. My mother gets something like 160 Xanax tablets a month in case she needs them. As far as the warning? They will always try to scare you into not ordering from other countries, although even all of our Senators know that many people order from other countries because it's cheaper. They don't want us to because the pharma companies are paying them big bucks to try to keep US citizens from getting medicine anywhere except in the US. It seems to me that what you got was even less than an LL, and I'm sure you're not on any watch group. They saw the antibiotics, the Advair and the xanax and probably put it together that it was for a specific condition and that's why they let it through. Don't worry. You're okay
