Hi, I'm Jenny. I am in severe pain on some days. I have been in two car accidents which I was flown to shock trauma. Broke7 bones the 1st time and 1 the second time wih a lot of glass in my face. I lost my job that I had insurace with and my husband died in 2000. I need something to keep me going. I can't afford the prescriptions anymore. hi jenny welcome to the forum. you will find this place to be a wealth of knowledge. the first thing you can do is look up here on the site the free med program. they provide free meds to the needy. second theses low fee/no fee med programs go through the doctors so you might want to talk to them.

Not sure 7.5/500 would cut the pain for very long anyway, most likely would need to go up to 10/325 based on the description of pain level....and without a script forget it.

I had to find a good PM doc and go onto Methadone. I do have insurance so it's cheaper than an ROP/NROP but the hoops I have to jump through (UA, Pill counts, etc.)is a pain in its self!

I took the 7.5/500 from the label. I am thinking that the first is the codeine and second is the acetomeniphine? Am I correct?

For economic reasons, would it be better to order a different stenght? I normally bite the tab in aprox. two parts. I can go some times when the weather is friendly, 5 days. As winter approaches,,, It hurts. I have five pills left.

I don't want to read the forums for each dosage... is there some way to distill the info?

I only understand one part of your question, Doc. Answer is, yes, the first number refers to hydrocodone strength, the second number is the acetomeniphine. Secondly, actually I dont know the answer to whether a stronger strength hydro. costs more, hmmm, I havent noticed. I've used all 3 strengths available and it seems to me that they were all about the same price. If there is a difference, its a matter of pennies.

Your correct. It doesn't matter what the strength for any of them. They are all the same price. Doesn't matter if it is 5 or 10 hydro, it should be the same. As far as the APAP goes it shouldn't be any different also.

If you are talking about actual US legal pharmacy prices, there can be differences in price for greater hydrocodone content and various APAP content depending partly on the amount of tablets in the prescription.
Check out some of the quoted prices online for CVS or drugstore.com.
Generic hydrocodone going from 5mg to 10 mg can increase the cost if more than 30 pills.
Going from 10mg/325mg to 10mg/750 can almost double the cost at 90 count.
However, going from 10mg/325mg to 10mg/500mg can lower the price.
Must be driven by demand for individual formulations. It is a strange pricing structure.

I was taking this, well I still am till i run out, Thank goodness for a great neighbor. But she passed and I don't have a doc or a way to drive anywhere, hubby don't beleive in anyone taking aything, someday when he is in a lot of pain, he will change his mind. Is there any way to get these with only paypal? I don't think there is, but thought it couldn't hurt to ask. I don't take a lot, I take anywhere from 1/2 - 2 a day, So I wouldn't need to order 100's.
