ANy one follow through with a company called USMEDS, or something similar. Guy named James with an Indian/perhaps latino accent said I had a refill due for 10/325 hydro 90#, He said I could receive order via COD for $480. I followed through and he said he would call back with a tracking number. Well he call me back the next day with a valid fedex #, his ph# that showed on my phone is 978-702-9476. He wants a certified check, any thoughts?

This is the thread for StrongMeds/SCP--I'd try to find info, but in general, beware of callers as well as similarly-named sites. It was most likely an Indian accent, as most of the call center work is farmed out there now.

Has anyone tried the COD route and received wrong/bogus meds? Did this company ever deliver as agreed? I called FEDX and of course I cannot inspect package before I hand over the certified check so I have no way of knowing until the courier has driven away. I am certainly not willing to gamble with 480$ for the wrong meds, HOWEVER price is another matter. I did agree to the price and would be ok if the actual meds arrived, although expensive they would come in hand over the next 180-250 days, and I have no other options.

Jerry.....If they will let you use a Certified Bank Check .....You may be able to Stop Payment on the Check!! Check with your Bank. I still think there is a 90-99 Percent chance that you will get Fakes or nothing at all!!

Certified checks cannot be rescinded, that is, they can only be canceled if lost, stolen or destroyed.

Actually scheduled IV, like ambien, can't get in much trouble unless you order like 1000 and/or poor and cannnot hire a good attorney. Not really enforced.

While you will obviously do whatever you want in this process, you should at least be aware of the facts regarding illegal importation of prescription drugs.
"Not really being enforced" depends on your definition. Shipments of C-IV meds are seized every day by Customs. Drugs like Versed, Talwin, Xanax, "roofies" as well as Valium are confiscated and Customs notices sent to the buyers. So far, that seems to be the prevalent method of enforcement.
I mentioned in an earlier post that I was told the Border and Customs agencies are receiving a sizeable share of the stimulus appropriation recently approved by Congress and signed by the President. How that money will be applied to other types of enforcement efforts by federal agencies dealing with illegal prescription drug shipments remains to be seen.

Conspiracy to illegal importation is a significant penalty whether whats in the package is "real" or not. Its the intent. However, it does appear the problem is so massive that interdiction and seizure is about the most that can be accomplished. There has to be some profit carved out of whatever the budget is for Homeland Security/Customs.

Usmed was a site the started about two years ago. then it went to current customers. then the site went away and it was email only. They had very goo packaging and it came with a script from florida remember.

I actually got a call from "Dave" today at US MEDS. He wanted to let me know I had an available phone consult for a refill. So, I guess, now they are not even bothering to send fake meds, just empty envelopes. New twist on a old scam. They are getting pretty creative. Playing off people who were scammed by ROP or F2F and had lost refill consults.
Either that or some other crook has sold my old info again.
