tammy I don't think you have anything to worry about, and in fact, since you appear to be in FL you can even travel to see the Doctor the pharmacist suggests, I would say that you are pretty lucky (I live clear across the country, or I would take him up on that F2F.)

If someone needs that type of detailed info, just pm. No worries... I didn't post the name or the # on here for that reason. There were a few diff pharmacies anyway. We can just keep it private.

People aren't really discussing PPC - just the pharmacy that is honoring legitimate refills.

My point was, Do we really know WHO was asking for the number to the Pharmacy? Do we? This poster NEVER posted on the PPC board before. Maybe you all just shot yourselves in the foot.

My first fill said 5 refills and the last 2 said zero. I may also have refills but cannot find the pharm name or number. Any hope or help would be greatly appreciated.

I never check the board and rarely post, but this needed to be made clear. I may not work for the company anymore,but I care....so this should clear up any confusion.

Actually ALL refills that were remaining on ALL patients were completed before we closed our services. I repeat NONE of our patients had refills remaining when we ended our service time. Also, the physician that originally prescribed the 5 refills.....changed his mind and all those patients got there refill amounts changed back to the customary 2 refills. Nobody should be getting medication at this time unless they have had a face to face appointment with a physician.

And Jody, Hello to you and I wish you and the rest of the girls well, also a thank you for all your help over the years.

Not that Jody will see this but it happened all right, some of us had remaining refills, I received them but not by anyone that "cared" from PPC. Terri never responded to my last email for my remaining fill.

Some of the prescriptions for 5 refills must have slipped through despite what Jody is saying; I don't think that many did (obviously if it had been widespread many more of us would have refills left.) Whatever, the situation has changed and now all of us must see the Doctor or get by on what our PCPs are willing to write for.

I am alive and taking a much needed break. Towards the end my deep concern for MY patients was very stressful. Knowing that many of you who have needed the medication for daily normal life, towards the end of service it got pretty bad. I hope to soon be working in the medical field again, and have a job prospect or 2 in that area. I would say hello and miss you guys too.....If I knew your ACTUAL name. If ya want to PM me so I know who ya are is cool. If I do find a place to hand my hat, I will be sure to let you guys know, or if I find anything out about new face to face service.

And Squarepants.... Terri was not employed by PPC for almost 2 months before we completed service terms......therefor she could not have helped you, and the physician cancelled all but 2 refills so if you get those additional ones you THINK you have it's a BAD idea....

I had Terri as a rep. I did get all 5 (five) of my refills. PPC was great until 'the end'

Well, Tammy, they are gone - right? Just like the long lasting Chat thread died after there was no point.

People were sharing info. Yes, confusion all around. People receiving, people not receiving. If someone calls the pharm and they get their refill - others want to know how they can get theirs. Make sense? That's what this site does - help people to understand.

Why "thank goodness"? You need not visit the thread if it bugs you. Personally, I feel happy when I hear (read) of someone getting their refill and not so happy when other don't. PPC was the ONLY OCS to honor refills.

Tiger - I am sorry that you were not able to obtain your refills. Doesn't seem fair to me. But what do I know.

Gone but not forgotten, they helped me out when no one else would. I used them when they were the old Olive Fox LLC and they were great then. Too bad it all had to come to an end.

First off....who do you think you are telling anyone else to give me a name or not. I still work in this field trying to help some of my old patients a place to go (without pay mind you) just so that they can get some semblance of a normal life. Second off....I thought I made it clear that as of the last day of propatientcare, there were no refills remaining on ANY and ALL patients (the pharamcy never knew where the order was filled the month before). Not that anyone is owed an explanation, but all scripts went to the pharmacy as a NEW script since we used more than one pharmacy. That means NOBODY had refills left. And lastly, I did not think it was that hard to understand but Rain I hope this time you know a lot more than before. Also, I am no longer a rep of propatientcare as they did close down but being as I was the last employee before the doors shut I know I busted my @$$ to make sure NONE of our patients went one day longer than they had to without meds, and that they got every fill . So no need to be frustrated any longer....

Jody - I apologize if I offended you. I was really speaking in general. Often, reps would answer and you'd still not have a good explanation. I should have made that more clear. I wasn't directing my comment to YOU. Apparently many have been helped by you and I applaud that. Sorry.

I can well imagine that these past few months have been stressful. I hope you take some time for yourself. Can't be an easy job with a host of people who need help. I had a job like that too. Not in the medical field, but when people's account balances (investment management) go down - well you can get the picture. Where is my money? Well, the market tanked. It'll come back. Blah, blah. Although I was always kind, at some point you wish that clients would be educated.
