So the active ingredient is the same in both of these pills, but the dose is different. One claims to block 30% while the other claims to block 15%. Alli is significantly cheaper than Xenical, and you could take two Alli to get the same dose of Xenical, but the question is if it would work or not. I haven't found a solid answer for this yet. Why would the drug companies still sell Xenical then? I've even read that taking two Alli does not increase the benefits, but it could be just the drug companies trying to mislead people. You have to wonder whether taking two Xenical would block 60%, lol.

It's not uncommon for an Rx drug to be released at a
greatly reduced non-Rx dosage. If you take double Alli,
you will be getting the same one Xenical dose.

Apparently 120 mg. is an optimal Xenical dose. You won't
get double (or any) benefits from doubling that particular dose.

Great observation from your post, they do word it cleverly
don't they.

Some patients say that orlistat stops them eating fatty foods in order to avoid that most infamous side-effect of them all: anal seepage.

Anal seepage?
There's glamor in medicine after all.

"I'd Luv to enjoy a double bacon
sandwich with you tonight sugar pants, but
anal seepage has got me down."

I originally saw the phrase, "anal seepage" in a medical book under side-effects of liquid paraffin. I try not to keep mentioning it, but it just slips out.
