I am SERIOUSLY about to get mad about this. They will not answer my emails at ALL, and now they're apparently just letting calls go through to voicemail so you can hear the message about the pharm..
I sent them a simple email asking them why APS took money from my account when the pharmacy usually does so (for my meds) and if they had sent the funds to the pharm themselves or what was going on with it. That was at 9:36 AM CST today. It is now 11:29 with no response. Oh, this is also in addition to the previous 5 emails I've sent (One per day...and one day twice) asking for a simple status update, all of which have been ignored or at the very LEAST unresponded to, even if they were read. and you know what would STOP my torrent of emails? one sentence. One simple sentence stating that the pharm is still not up, or one simple paragraph explaining why APS took the 192 for my meds and not the pharmacy and what will happen with the money. I am all for giving the benefit of the doubt, and to this point, I've simply said that I disapprove of the fact that they will not answer my emails, but I can now say that I'm beyond pissed about it. APS has been sitting on 300 bucks for almost a week now, and will not even acknowledge my existence. This is completely unacceptable.

Check thread under 1StopMeds. They use the same pharmacy (Nichols in Oakland, CA) and they claim that the pharmacy was hit by lightning, flooding (in Oakland, CA?!?!), locusts, etc. Biblical excuses - but at least they are still talking to their clients.

See post post in other thread. Am I screwd again, are you guy out of bussiness for good? This is getting so difficult and expensive. I just wish I could get some answers. It is very dangerous for us chronic pain sufferers to run out of meds. These companies should be able to sypathize with that and at least post or Notify their clients when things have gone wrong. I need to know if I have to move on or choose to live in pain and sickness until I hear from this OP. What a shame.

Apainsolution is not out of business. The pharmacy that promised to fill their scripts decided not to so now apainsolution is without a pharmacy. They are looking for a new one, but are offering refunds if you don't want to wait it out. Just call them and leave a message or email them. Hope this helps. Usually these OCS's are good at finding new pharmacies. It just takes time.
I generally agree with your post, however just as I said in my last post I have not heard a peep from them after several phone calls and several emails and a week gone by. Yes I have seen many an OP get a new pharmacy, also have seen them not get new ones and close without a word, and I have yet to get a refund when one of them shuts down ( some sort of refund to offset the cost of the consult without getting all the refills) would be in order. I can not comment on your claim or a refund I have yet to hear them say that. Anyway just wanted to see if anyone else was having issues since I did not hear that from them. Thanks

1stopmeds customers were also affected by Nichols Hill.
Several people have attempted. From the feedback I've read, Nichols Hill is refusing to transfer any remaining refills.

Hey, Couch! Stubby is correct in that several people have been unsuccessful, HOWEVER, I did read where one person managed it somehow. So, if I were you, I'd try it. All that will happen is that the pharmacist will tell you that they called Nichols and they refused to fill it. You won't get into any trouble. Perhaps you could even say to the pharmacist, "isn't that illegal to refuse something like that?" That's up to you of course.
I believe that the poster who did it managed it online. They went to their local pharms website, filled out all the necessary info., and received an email that the script was ready to pick up. I'm not sure if your local pharm has that option.
No harm will come to you if you try. The worst that will happen is that they will tell you that Nichols said no. Keep us posted and good luck!
No such luck. Shopko said that the pharmacy stated they were out of the business and gave them the names and numbers of two doctors who did not answer their phones or return any messages.
I also tried unsucesfully to transfer scripts. Pharmacist told me Nichols told him that they (nichols) were no longer doing business with that OP (apainsolution). So I am in major pain, out some money, and on the verge of getting sick, all great news. Thanks for all the updates Apainsolution, I recommend this place to no one.

Sorry it didn't work out. I think a lot of OCS's are going to struggle with finding a pharmacy to work with them. What a shame. We'll be forced to buy on the street. I love it when the government tries to save us from ourselves. It's soooooo helpful! Especially to street dealers!

Those are my thoughts exactly. I am from the Tampa area (the original hot spot for the OPs). I was a customer of NWW for a very long time, they were lifsavers. When they got shut down they featured it on the local news here. I mean the pharmacy was not even shut down for an illegal reason (i.e selling illegal scripts). It was was as they put it "for the better health and saftey of the community to shut this pharmacy down". It scares me sometimes where this country is heading when it comes to human freedoms. I have heard of some OP's that are up and running full speed with no hiccups as of yet. I will have to eventually look in that direction. Luckily there are still options.
We're pleased to inform everyone that we are back working with a pharmacy so we are able to process orders again. What we want to do first is make sure we handle people's refill requests first, and once we are caught up with that then we can begin taking new orders again. This should only take a couple days or so to catch up, and I will inform everyone asap when we will begin taking new orders.
So everyone with a refill available can go ahead and request it thru the website. Any questions feel free to contact us. Since our phone lines will probably be ringing consistently, the quickest way to get an answer will probably be thru email, so if its something that can be handled thru email, thats what we recommend. Thanks everyone for your patience thruout this, and we're very pleased to be able to help our patients again.

Nichols is in California, but they will no longer fill for online consultation services (OCS) anymore. They were filling for 1stStop and Apainsolution and just suddenly shut them off. The pharmacy left hundreds of people without meds and refills. Lame. It seems that they lied to both of these OCS's and strung them along with stories of power outages, floods, and fires. Then they just dropped the bomb and said that they wouldn't fill for them anymore.
Has anybody had any luck getting their refill?? Forget trying to call and or email them--NO RESPONSE whatsoever!!! I tried sending Frank a PM last week and no response from him either...My last experience with an OCS was terrible and now I'm afraid that the same will happen again--where I will lose refills after paying a lot of money for the consult with the initial one...Please let me know if there is a way to get in touch with them and what is going on here. I would appreciate it! Thanks, Amber............

Hey Boogie, Thanks for letting me know! That is terrible!!! I think I am going to contact administration on here and let them know. I'm glad I didn't give them any credit card numbers (I'm sorry for the people who did--pay for a consult and not receive anything)...And yes you are right to call them that. Time to find a new service.

And we are honoring all refill requests and refund requests. The pharmacy is able to process a set number a day, but we plan to be caught up and processing new orders again by next week. Thank you all for your continued patience, we're doing the best we can to handle every request.
Hey Frank....I have a friend that uses your service and she said that she has not heard a word from yall. Said she has left voice mail and emails with you and she has no response. She doesnt want to go to another service ....simpley because of the headache it was for her to fax her records last time. (she doesnt have a fax machine). Her refill was do a week ago "last" friday......so she would think she would have been taken care of by now........she wants to know if she will get her meds this week or not?..... When will you be caught up?
I am affraid she has been taken if you ask me......her consult was paid in full to begin with and now they have their money .........I just think we are seeing the begining of the end if you ask me......all of the services are scrambling it looks like.......several days behind or no shipping at all.........
I got a message on my aswering machine on 5/29/07 from apainsolution. A man named Tim said that my order would ship the following day and he gave me a COD total and who to make the COD out to. The problem is that I never received a tracking number and I still havnt received my order. I try to call and email everyday but I cant get anyone to respond. sounds like the guy on the phone has your script and had a great memorial day weekend eh? While the rest of the CPers suffer, at least they called i guess. Actually now that i think of it thats even worse then no contact at all. To be given false hope of receiving your much needed meds is just a major slap in the face in my opinion.
I have a jenmar bottle floating around here somewhere with 2 refills on it, what can i do with that? Its been a long time and i still never received any calls or emails since all that crud went down. Good thing i did not wait around i would be dead by now. I dont know why because they were always really good up until then, but as soon as jenmar stopped filling for them i went elsewhere. P.s. Frank, i have been keeping up with this thread because you had such great service when i used you, but it seems as though you care nothing of your patients. SAD, i may come back sometime when i see things get back to the glowing reveiws.
