Well I actually sent my medical records and id, they did not respond so I called them. They said they needed more records so I sent them 18 pages. Then I got a call from the dr. She said that if I wanted the Hydrocodone it would be a few days because they don't have that right now. They only have compounds available. This is my first time trying the compounds, hopefully they work. I called them today because I did not hear anything and they said that they would send it to the pharmacy and the day I am supposed to receive it I will get an e-mail with a tracking number and price for the money order. So how are you suppose to be home to get the order and go and get a money order? I have a one year old and a two year old. Oh and just to let everyone know the max they can prescribe is 90 pills and my consult was $185.00. They did it through google. Hopefully I will get them tomorrow and they work, if so it will be worth it....I am in so much pain...I have fibromyliaga and the pain is worse with stress. My hubby was laid off his job of 20years and my best friend, my mom died a week ago. So I am having major pain. Hopefully they will send me the cod amount early enough to go get the money order otherwise I won't get it until Tuesday. I just wanted to let everyone know of my experience.

Have used two months in a row now, since they changed their pharmacy and added a "processing fee".

Other than the extra cost, I have not had ANY trouble whatsoever. In fact, I just ordered a new consult, got it the next day, and my meds are scheduled to arrive today. Based on last month's experience I do not expect any delay.

Although, it is costing me more to use APS, I will continue to stay with them, because I have NEVER had bad service.

I orderd with a pain solutionon the 15th of sept. 08. I have anxiety and the proper papers to prove it. I thought Id save some money over my dr.(no insurance) and gave them a whirl. I used to use them but a double charge on my cc stoped our relashionship. Anyway from the first second I started with them it was a nightmare. they told me my paperwork was in-adiquit. I told them i sent a life history what else do you need. After actully looking my stuff over I got " oh u want colonipin not hydrocodone" and got my order out. ship was good time wise but the fed ex man was literlly rolling my bottle in his hand and kinda smiling at me. no stelth in ship method. this is leagle, so they figure they can just throw a bottle in a bag and ship it out. but I get no privicy.
then they became unavilable and It took two weeks past my months supply to get the next ship out. That is dangerous to all their patients. its now almost christmass and Ive had only 2 fills from sept 15th? how awfull. on top of it. they exspect consult fee(dont remember) and 180 for 60 colonipin? that is a drug dealer price not a pharmacy. I just put this out there so no one has to go through this. imagine waiting for hydros and not hearing from the place for two weeks.
Make a mistake once and your human, twice a sucker but if you go back for a third you deserve it. Im not even gonna order my last refill which I should have gotten a month ago,It is ready to fill, but a month too late. I am cutting ties with these people and I wouldent recomend their buisness to anyone.

danni,
you must have timed it perfectly? they had to "find" a new pharmacy in october and were practicly unreachable. I went two weeks with out meds. I hope you could bite that bullet. be carefull just "exspecting" "anything" to happen. save a few aside if your smart these places take advantage of young and forign transplant doctors and the pharmacys they use. The dr and the pharmacy get into trouble and a pain in the butt(solution) skates. when a pharm or dr gets shut down they race around looking for new ones. this ive seen take a day or a month depending on whats available at the time. If its pain meds or benzos. I prefer overseas and stocking up and it costs a fraction of the price.

I signed up with them. I faxed my records. They emailed me and told me they needed more, I faxed the additional information. They emailed me back and said now they need all of it faxed again.....forget it. My Dr. put me on OC yesterday so I don't need them. It was a stupid idea to begin with.Very costly when you figure it all up.I understand that many people have no other choice.Really a shame in a country like ours that people can't get the med's they need without paying a fortune.

As I understand a new law takes affect in April so any refills I had with them would be gone and I would have to arrange for a FTF, BIG waste of money. I just talked to my doctor and she was very understanding. She even gave me a card so I can buy brand with $60.00 off.

I am sure that some folks can use the service, they at least answered their emails. They seem like they are pretty safe.

My experience, I signed up on thier site with my information. They accept credit cards and COD for shipping. I faxed over my documents on a tuesday morning, I sent an email to let them know that they were there, I recieved an email later that day to confirm my documents were recieved and that a consult was in the process of being scheduled. On wendsday afternoon received the phone call for consult. I wasnt sure of who it was when I answered because the number came as private. It was fairly quick about 15 minutes and very painless lol. My order was shipped out that evening for overnight delivery. I wasnt offered any other shipping method so I dont know if there is another way. I wasnt home to recieve my package on friday so I picked it up today. I was a bit worried about the cost and being ripped off but set aside my fears and took the chance because I do have chronic pain from arthritis in my back and hips and nerve damage as well and needed help with relief from the whole thing. Im not sure what the normal prices are The meds were a bit over 200 plus the consult fee. I received what I was told. The pharmacy was from CA. Thier site also says they are in CA. I am not sure what all I can put up here so I suppose that will be all.

I went to their website on 2/27/09 and submitted a request for a refill, all seemed fine, the order was suppose to be here Mar 2, 2009. When I went to Fed-X on the day it was to arrive they told me that the shipment had a tracking number to Fed-X but was never given to them. I went home and called them (Tues) and got a hold of someone who told me that they would be contacting the pharmacy that day and for me to check the status of the order via the tracking number later that night. I checked, ...nothing. I called this morning, could not reach anyone, got the machine. When I checked apinsolution's online tracking I got redirected to the Fed-X site. The information had not changed and no new order number was generated. I realize the tracking number would be useless at this point having been due to arrive three days ago, but I did it anyway (conformity). At his juncture I am becoming increasingly suspicious, I am without necessary relief and have reverted back to the sub-quality of life that presents itself absent the meds. Anyone else heard from them?

Got an email response from Apainsolution today, they said "The pharmacy is having an issue with the compounding machine they use , so they got a bit behind. They will ship you out ASAP you are at the top[ of the list. Aps" So I guess if and when I get a new tracking number I will post the results here...

Nothing, I called the number on their web site and no one answers. Its just one of those mechanical recordings that says "hello, no one is available to take your call, please call again." On Monday I will be calling my credit card Co. and filling a retraction so they will pull any payments that were taken since my last prescription refill. Thats one good thing about ordering using a credit card, they can't keep the money.

Checked the tracking this morning, I had all but given up and did not go back for a couple of days. The tracking shows my order has been in transit since March 6th. Says it should be delivered the 10th (today). I will check Fed-X in about an hour and see what happens, hope springs eternal...

My recent experience with APS has left me troubled. I consulted about a med which states a price of $55.80 for 90 on the board. The consult was $130. Seemed reasonable enough so I did the consult.

Well apparently the total cost is going to be $350! I have no idea how the cost increased that exponentially! I have asked for clarification - my understanding was that refills were billed seperetely.

And now, because I have already completed the consult, I am out at LEAST $130, even if I do not complete the order. Anyone else have this happen???

Hi Calyx -

When did you get your consult, yesterday or today? Also, the total cost of $350 includes the consult, meds and shipping. Unfortunately that price list is most likely long out of date and meds have gone up considerably.

I'll have to agree with nygiants, depending on what med you need - whether hdyro or some type of benzo, the price has greatly increased. I remember thinking $88.00 for 120 generic norco 10/325 was expensive - of course that was about 4 years ago with YOD ($100 consults with 3 refills). Isnt irionic how much med prices have increased while consult prices have remained relatively stable? Example, a consult price in 2001 was $65.00 - $85.00, adjust that amount with the med prices of today's consult prices and med prices (factor in the 2 refills) and the med prices have increased substantially. I am hoping that the F2F consults work out - my hope has always been to find a compassionate, liberal doctor - Then, I would not have to consult a doctor from the internet.

Has anyone used "apainsolution" latly ? The latest post is March. I signed up and haven"t heard anything from them. Filled out everything online, faxed records the following day and sent two e-mails and nothing ! Use to use Southwestmedicalgroup untill they started this FTF. Charging $200.00 A month for consult. They were great, everything done on time. I guess every GOOD thing always comes to an end. But I am really needing a good place to get hydro/10 without spending a forture, anyone out there can help me out. I don't have alot of time to search online. By the way really glad we have "drug BUYERS" website,it does make live alittle easier !

Even though it is posted ALL OVER THE BOARDS, let me say that you must do a F2F if you want legal pain medication from ANY US doctor.

Otherwise, try your luck with the NROP thread and/or IOP threads. This time, spend time researching...it will make all the difference and save everyone (including you) time and effort.

Good luck!

Oh sorry, my mistake. I'm not familiar with either...just saw the archived thread.

I'll try to research more before posting mis-information next time.
