I've received the same email a couple of times now. Once again just today. Same address for money order destination. Not sure if I'm allowed to post the email address they're sending from?

Shows up in the "spam" folder. Leave the money order blank! rofl5

Here's the email headers, which includes the originating IP address...although I wouldn't have a clue what to do with this info really, other than report it as abuse.

Everything else regarding this email is currently posted. It all just seems odd to me. I used to order from ROP's, so I'm sure my old records are floating around there and ended up with these idiots. It's just been at least 2 years since I've been involved with any sort of ROP...I was done long before the whole RHA deal came down.
Anyways, I simply responded asking them to remove me from their insult list. If they want to send me their spam the least they could do is stop asking for a mortgage payment for friggin 2 month supply! Maybe I'll call this 800# to the mail service they're using tomorrow and let em know what's up...although it would be nice to remain a little more anonymous than a phone call. I searched online for an email contact and it doesn't appear they have one available. I can directions to go there if I want though! smile

I've been getting those emails virtually everyday for months. They show up in my spam folder and say exactly the same thing. I don't even look at my spam folder anymore - I just hit "delete all" because my spam folder is now getting 700 emails a day. That's right - 700. Someone is selling our information all over the place and if I don't delete the spam everyday it fills up all my space for real emails. It's crazy.

I don't know where the original thread is where they first started this scam, but the first group of people received, the second group got nothing or fakes. It's illegal now to use an ROP so their "doctors" can't just call and talk to you and send you medicine. If you send a money order, kiss the money goodbye.

Chris was a good owner of an ROP for many years, then he either got greedy or lost all his connections. Don't fall for anything that wants you to do this, or ever send money to Lakeland, Fl. IF you receive anything, it's possible that it's a fake, or you could be traced and have someone knocking on your door that you don't want knocking.

Lynx - 700? I would be furious. Yes, delete, delete, delete.

I am beginning to think that anyone who took advantage of the "Colony" thing are the ones getting all the emails. I get none. Not saying you or anyone did, but I think it is interesting that I don't get any emails, phone calls , etc.

Chris Larceny knows no limits. One must keep ones life style, eh?

Admin is right on - never hesitate to post all the info. It will help others.

Signing off.

PNW, I didn't do the Colony thing as I thought the prices were ridiculous, but I was, at one time, a member of Chatcp. Since we know Stephanie got ahold of Chris' list of customers and sold it, it's probably easy to say that whoever she sold that list to has now sold it to hundreds and hundreds of other vendors. There's no need for me to even look at the spam folder, because I wouldn't dream of buying from any of the sites that show up in it (usually it's all email sites and places that say "The Blue Pill!", which I guess is Viagra, and I definitely don't need that lol).

In fact, when the emails first started showing up, about 2 months ago, I looked through the spam folder to make sure nothing was in there that was a real email, and I had many from Chris' site, and the rest seemed to be email sites and I was scared to even click on any to read what they said, as I didn't want to end up with Spyware or a vicious virus.

I did read all about the Colony incident, which is what made me post what I did. After reading that thread everyday as it was happening, it appeared that some portion of people received, and then it got quiet, then I assume they sent out another email and it was that group that got taken for all of their money or got fakes. So guys, stay away from bestrxus.com, or any email that wants you to send money to Lakeland, Fl (to a P.O. box no less!).

I can't say that I ever lost money, although Chatcp did ignore me for almost a year before they made good on a consultation I paid for. That was way back when Chatcp was using that pharmacy (Bluestar? something like that; I forget the name of it now). After they cleared up the mess, they contacted me and I didn't have to pay another consultation fee. But that was before the new law, and anybody who sends records to a place, talks to a doctor on the phone and gets a prescription through the mail that way is now breaking the law, whereas before there wasn't a law addressing it.

I bailed way before the law was enacted. I didn't want to be even close to receiving anything during that time, even though the ROPs kept saying they were shipping but everything was taking time. I saw the writing on the wall and it said "These ROPs aren't going to make it to the end because the pharmacies are going to bail first.". You know?

I just hope no one, especially newbies who didn't know about the other incidents, have taken them up on the offer and sent money. They might receive, but they might not, and personally not many people could give up a week's paycheck or a month's rent and then not receive anything without it being very painful.

Face to face is the only way, or gambling on the BI sites. But now we are seeing that the new BI sites are even starting to scam, whereas that didn't seem to be the case before.

Anyway, good luck to all of us with chronic pain, and may we all find a way to deal with our pain and a doctor who at least partially understands what we are going through.....

Lynx - I am glad you didn't get roped into the Colony thing. What's with that name anyway? I received an email back then about it and I deleted it. The whole thing had a bad odor to it, ya know?

Then, recently on the board, people are posting to send a MO or WU or something with no "who to" info. It's getting crazy.

Taking advantage of people who suffer is shameful. Justice will come, albeit slowly. I truly believe that what goes around comes around. Chris Larceny wanted to know who I was, but I know who HE is. He said I was "negative". You know what's negative - stealing money from suffering people.

Anyway, I hope the barrage of email ceases soon. Who needs it? Hope you are well and happy on this Saturday. Nice in the Pacific NW. For a little while anyway. I'll take it.

Got a new one today. Slightly altered but clearly the same group...same return email address etc, but hey at least they have someone to make the money order out to now!
Still to a PO BOX in Lakeland FL. What is it about that place?

By the way...what's this "colony" thing everyone is referring to? I was out of the loop for much to long apparently.

Bird, that is an excellent question. I wonder the same thing. But a poster here said that the LEs are moving in. They have Chris Larceny in their sights. I believe they are building their case. It will be a fine day when it happens.

It is not that I wish anyone ill,but when someone takes such blatant advantage...well, throw the book at them.

Hope your Sunday is a happy one.

Probably a good wager. I like the stuck pig analogy. Could be wrong, been wrong a time or two, but I don't think they are particularly interested in us. They want HIM. But, indeed we are at risk.

Chris Larceny is a fool. His middle name should be "greed" cause that is all it is. A greedy man who built an empire and then watched as it got torn down. He's next.

To the original poster : if it feels like a scam, looks like one and does't pass the smell test - it probably is a scam.

You must go with your instincts.

Thought I'd share the most recent version. Despite my screaming at them to remove me from their INSULT list....still get them like clock work.
It looks like they're back to NO NAME on the money order please. Oh...and if you've order before, you're not getting what you ordered. Now you're getting these "sealed" Watson bottles. Funny...I hear no mention of and doctors in this email now. Only access to pharmacies...

Here's the latest installment of scams are us!:
Quote:
We have contact with a couple of pharmacies that have access to WATSON SEALED 100ct BOTTLES. If you want smaller ammounts they will come in the smaller bottles not sealed.

All people that have sent in money and have not recieved their package wil lbe getting this product. Not the vicoden. I am sorry for the delays, the doctors were getting new accounts for medications.

I get those emails all the time...once a week or. Hi, i'll send a blank money order to you and then you can take my money and not send anything....

if anyone has done just one google search, they will not even think about bestusrx.com

this guy needs to be behind bars...but he'd probably still manage to be scamming in there...

*ignore* mass emails. it's like junk mail in your mailbox (real one). i worked for a company that did this, explanation below.

it's way easy to blind mail groups of people and expect at least 1-2% will respond. say, you get a list of names/addys from a place like Cxxxx (to use a very old one i used to use way back when). you blast them all with the mail.

stats show for snail mail, 1%-2% will respond at minimum. i know this because i used to work for a mass mailing company for credit cards back in the 1980s. that very low margin, believe it or not, puts you in the black.

since email is much cheaper than printing letters, paying usps, etc. - their margin is probably %.2 or something ridiculous like that.

it's worth the effort for them.

but never respond.

I am also getting swamped by the email above. I should get one in another day or so. Even marking them as spam or as a phishing scam does nothing to stop them. They get to my inbox somehow bypassing my spam filter which is set to the max filtration settings. Also they use my old email address as well. This is an address I used with NWW. I wonder if CL has somehow accessed or kept the database of every place he was affiliated with. I used NWW, YPM, and ChatCP and the only way he would or anyone in ROP/NROP biz would have that particular email address would be from the NWW database. This guy is the kind of sneaky crook that scares the cr@p out me. He keeps records (HIPPA not something he beleives in!) and when he sees an opportunity he starts again with the deals and the "special offers". Perhaps if we all could start keeping copies of the emails especially the headers we may be able to do something to prevent his onslaught. I truly think he is despicable to prey on those of us with severe pain and are having trouble getting meds because so many docs are afraid of writing for scheduled meds. Those prices are someone's mortgage payment, car payment, or utility bill. I promise that I will make a copy of the next round of emails before I forward them to my email server as phishing scams once I do that I never see the email again. I hope once and for all CL can be put out of business and even spend a little time in the "big house". He deserves it for all of us he has scammed and ripped off.
Take Care Everyone and I wish you all a pain free night!

Pragmatic, if you ever used any of Chris' sites then they have your records. And if what Chris said was accurate, Stephanie also sold all of his records, so goodness only knows how many companies now have a copy of your records.

For months and months I was getting over 700 emails a day, all about buying medicine (one day I got 1500 and it completely filled up my box so I couldn't get any real emails). I finally set up my account to automatically delete any email it sent to Spam (and it sent all of those to Spam everyday). Now I don't have to worry about a full mailbox.

But...I never had that problem before, and no one had that email address except a very select few, so someone went on a selling spree of our information. There's no other reason that I could have an email account for years that only had real emails in it, and then all of the sudden be innundated with hundreds upon hundreds of emails a day.

We have all been sold out. It could be any or all of the old ROPs - I don't know. I'm just glad I don't have to see them and can have them permanently deleted the second they hit my inbox. Gotta love that feature!

From reading earlier threads you must be talking about the Chat or Chap place. I never used them, thank God. But I did use a few others and I have never received "one" email or phone call to this day offering medication for sale. I think it was just the personal character of those running the Chap company---they were money-grubbing DOGS!

If you did business with any company owned by Chris Larson they have your records. But it doesn't matter because if you were to send any money be confident that he will rip you off.
This is why his new board name is Chris Larseny because he is a drug addicted, theif!!

It is a possibility that some do own that service. One, it's a big money maker, two, it would be perfect.

Even the UPS Stores are owned by individuals, not UPS.

I just realized today I could set thunderbird up to filter the flood of garbage I get. Before I wouldn't be too agressive labeling everything as spam since it might also mark a legitimate email I needed. But the filters are much more customizable and like you said you can even have the offending message deleted on the spot.

1-2% is the snail mail statistic. knowing the internet and how some people really *do* believe everything they read, i'd bet good money they get at least 1%.

I think Admin is asking if anyone is calling the mail place where they pick up money orders and telling the mail place that Box whatever is using their service to have people send them money etc.

Telling the people that they are being used to carry on an illegal activity.

The "Mail Room" knows the scam is happening but are not acting on the info... they are protecting the scammer...
That makes me think the people behind the scam and the mail service may be the same people...

What did you tell them?

Perhaps they need some public posts on their Facebook account so they can not go on claiming they do not know...

Maybe Lakeland PD needs to look into the Box there.

I'm not so sure they are in on the scam. When I had a mailbox, UPS Store had no idea what I had coming in.

It's against the law for the mail room owner to open the mail of box 206.

But they have been told that box 206 is making illegal offers, selling controlled substances, and searching for that box surely proves that is happening... they know it is happening... they are just playing the "we do not know game"

They do not have to open the mail... all they have to do is google the address and mail box and call the police... that is what they should do...

Did you not tell them what is happening and to do a google search on that address to verify?

Actually, They're NOT selling controlled substances using that PO Box. If they were the mailbox company wouldn't be getting all those complaints. What they ARE doing is comitting mail fraud using that PO Box and the mail box company could be complicit in that if they are being told this and doing nothing about it.

There are so many people that were scammed by chrish larceny from that PO box that i'm sure one of you would step up. Personaly, somehow i was the early guy to receive the real thing. But after numerous people started to get scammed, i stopped. i know there is someone out there who is willing to tell them what happened to them. And maybe we can find others willing to tell their story to this PO Box to shut it down!!!

Do you have to file a police report? or just talk with the owners?

It would be nice to shut down that PO box so people won't go are unable to send money to a fraud. If enough people call, i'm sure it would be stoppped. Tell them you were thinking about opening a box, but don't like that fact that they deal with frauds...i don't know.

BestUS (support@bestusrx.com)

and it is no longer 'leave MO name open'

now reads :

This is really for the Admin: but I wanted an explanation for all instead of just a PM response.

So i just have a question here. I would like to know why we are breaking the Rules when we talk about just emails...

I checked something saying that I can only talk about sites with websites. I don't understand that point. Why can't we talk about people like this who send these emails?

This board exisits not only to help people find relief from whatever they are seeking and numerous other reasons, but also to try and stop people from scam artists, is that not correct? So when we receive emails regarding a site offering this, why can we not talk about it on this board?

Would it bombard this site with too much talk about emails? And not only emails, but phone calls regarding people trying to sell you meds.

I am very curious about this. If there is a forum for this, or a disscusion regarding is in the Rules, please direct me and us. thank you. best.

What is there to wonder?
This thread is perfectly OK and does not break our Rules.

These scammers use Web sites and the emails mentioned are related to a Web or various Webs they use...

BTW to update this since it is at the top. Lakeland PD was supposed to have someone in Vice & Narcotics contact me. I left my phone number, name, etc.

They haven't contacted me to this day.

Seems even the PD isn't concerned with this, no matter if it is real meds or mail fraud. I told the person I talked with either they were selling real meds or scamming people.

So much for the PD doing something about these people, but they will go after a doctor treating pain patients.

So Stacy, I guess your call meant nothing to the PD. Like you said they would much rather go after Doc's treating legit pain patients. Something is wrong with this picture. Dontyathink?

Exactly tammy.

They didn't bother to even call me back to get more info. They don't even have any idea if the people are selling real meds or fakes.

On the other hand it could be good news for people to order....in Lakeland, FL at least, they just don't care if you do evidently.

Stacy - I can't tell you why they didn't respond. But I can tell you that I applaud your effort. If more people would act accordingly, maybe something would be done. I wrote a letter -not much I know, but it's all I am able to do right now. Told the mail box people that it was a fraudulent biz. Alex, Admin has been urging people to do this and I finally did.

I am the one who re-named Chris Larson to Chris Larceny. Cause that is exactly the truth. It is a shame, cause, at one time, YPM was considered one of the best. Now it is just scamming. Makes me sad.

OK, I'm going now. I am so cold. Covers.

Send something to the Lakeland Police Dept, you can email it. Even if the mailbox owner is in on this, he is correct about something............he can't do anything about it.

The Post Master General or the PD have to be the ones. When it comes to USPS mail, a warrant is required to do anything.

Maybe if enough people contact Lakeland PD they will at least look into it.
