For those of us unlucky enough to live outside the US - Phentermine for the last 12 months has only been available internationally by ONE supplier - which has just recently stopped selling it now.

Phentermine (30mg) has been the only thing to work for me (admittedly I've only ever had Xenical besides it) but I am looking for what to try now and was hoping for your expertise??

Does anyone have any experience with some other weight loss/appetite suppressant?

I've had good experience with asenlix(clobenzorex) you just flat do not feel hungry, you can easily then only eat healthy foods and only as much as you need. However the downside is that you will have difficulty sleeping.

Teunate works. I take the tenuate retard and by nightime it's worn off and I'm craving food. I expected it to be like Phen where I'd forget to eat. I'm not forgetting! Although it does make me want to drink more water and I don't eat as much or drink as much soda.

It will be perfect when I start my water only fast again. Last time I caved when I started to get so hungry at day 7. I wanted to do a 14 day fast. This time with Tenuate I'm hoping not to get so hungry.

I think good, old fashioned ephedra (ephedrine) is the next best thing to - or perhaps even better than - phentermine. The only negative comparison I can draw between it and phentermine is that the ephedra can cause mild to moderate nausea and jitteriness (in me, at least). IMHO, it's better for appetite suppression and "energy" though. Never had much luck with any of the others mentioned above.

If you feel hungry, eat an apple or similar fruit. The trouble with fruit is that nobody ever really thinks, "Oh, I really fancy eating an apple", but once you start eating it, it's nice. Maybe not as nice as pizza, but still nice.

I've taken weight control medicine all of my 60 years. Since they stopped making the "real" diet pills, the best you can get on line is phentermine. I;ve tried tenuate,didix, bontril. All are good, you just have to adjust the time you take them so they will take you up to bedtime. It makes me so mad, people od everyday on sleeping and pains pills, and you never hear about anyone od'ing on diet pills, yet you cannot get them on line that I have found. Anyone else know of a site, please pm me.

I've used basicmeds.com for a few months now and recently noticed that they added Phentermine.

I lost 30 kilos taking it however it can only be taken for 3 months otherwise you end up a psychological mess without motivation and also you dont lose anymore. Best to switch to reductil after 3 months. I am about to go on it again...my suggestion is to go low dose.

I was looking to get fastin n i know that phentermine is the generic but when i look it up in the rx guide it says no longer made in America. how do we know what we r getting; not that you ever do even with just making the pills. When I was a kid they made Quaaludes out of diazapam.

just wonderin....n if anyone knows a legit plaxe for phetermine or fastin pls let me know....my wife needs them.

Hope I didn't break any Rules

The guide was just saying that Fastin, the brand by Beacham Smith Kline, is no longer produced. You will not know if what you're getting is real stuff unless you get it prescribed in person by a doctor and have the script filled at a brick and mortar pharmacy.

You may find real Mexican phen or Duromine, but it's unlikely that you'll get real, generic phentermine as we know it from overseas.

I don't see tenuate or didrex there, Scarlette. Was it a while ago you got them?

I feel the same way, I have taken them ever since I was 18,(long time ago,LOL) & I don't understand why it is so hard to get, it seems that it is easier to find so called "hard" drugs than it is to find phentermine, & if you do, they want an arm & leg for them, & you still take a chance them being fake. Anyway if anyone knows a"REASONABLE" site please pm me also...

I haven't found didrex, but I have rec'd phen from international sites listed here; plus I noticed the "blatently illegal" sites look promising; but as far as reasonable, I've given that hope up.

It's really a shame. I had great success with Xenadrine with ephedra before the ban in 2004 because of a couple of idiots abusing it. (btw tylenol causes more cases of liver poisioning than any other medication in this country yet you can but it by the case).

you would think with the level of obesity in this country (US)that doctors would be all for it. my Dr told me no even though my BMI is over 30. No I dont have high blood prssure etc. His answer was "eat less". Ya that sounds about as good as working 2 jobs and you cant pay your bills and someone saying just find another job. Easier said than done. I am at my wits end. I wish I would have found absolutelythin.com before the law that required a face to face starting this past jan. they have been around since 2002 and are very legit. he is working on getting other drs to do the initial F2F which you can than have a legal script. problem is he has very few associate drs at this time. Closest one to me is a 6 hr drive one way.

I honestly believe their are people out here who know of and have reliable sources just a shame no one is willing to share.

tomo, people share, you just have to do some reading. There are a few suppliers in the "international" forum; the main problem is hard to find meds are expensive.

You are correct - the only TRUE phentermine (NROP, of course) is available internationally......and not for the prices we were used to here in the US in the good old days. Very sad.

There are some suppliers shipping from inside the US that are legit, but they are blatantly illegal. They are suprisingly brazen too.

Just have to look? Thanks. If I hadnt already looked I wouldnt be asking. It amazes me people can talk about anything on this board but when phentermine comes up youd think I was asking about area 51. I have been on other boards where people have "sources" always to hear the same thing " just look" well I have read hundreds of posts on this board and the few sites like basic meds seem to be bunk.

What I want to do is GAIN weight. You might think this a better place to be, but it is not. Weight just melted off without me even trying (this has NEVER happened to me).

tomo, I understand your frustration, I really do. But you couldn't have looked very hard. Paragor posted with excellent leads - I looked under the BI forum and 2 out of the first 3 sources listed the meds I believe you are looking for, and had good reviews regarding shipment. In this forum alone I reported receiving from a site listed. No one is going to hand pick and deliver sources to you because it is a risky venture and we are basically doing something illegal, besides the fact that sources rise and fall practically daily. People on this board kindly share their ordering experiences (good and bad) under the sites listed. It's up to you to do the homework, if the site has the product and people have reportedly recieved then you might want to risk ordering, there's no guarantees. As I posted earlier, this med is hard to get, usually overseas and very expensive.

Pengirl-I aplogozize for the frustration but I have also been on weight-loss forums.com and aside from a lot of off topic garbage you need to sort through (ie "my husband doesnt know I spent our grocery money on cookies he he".) All you ever get is just e-mail so and so at blahblah@thanksforyourmoney.gmail

The 3 important things to remember are 1) Safety/quality 2)reliability and 3)cost depending on your situation. Im concerned about reaching out to a strangers e-mail much more that a website. I have received some PM's and thank you to that person but again people post sources all the time so I think it is not as helpful as people could be.
