I have to know how many other people feel this way LOL

Do you ever feel like the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz, where you are constantly stiff and wish someone could just cure it with a couple of squirts from the oil can? LOL! That's what I have felt like with my Fibro all these years. Yeah I stretch and do all of that, but I HATE HATE HATE the constant stiffness, no matter what the hell you do.

Okay rant over.

Code21, while I don't have Fibro, I have a dear friend who does. I see the pain, agony, and stiffness she goes through.

You are so sweet Ballerina - thank you!!! I've been living with it for 13 years and although I do have the occassional flare-up, I would say that after I modified my lifestyle, I've been doing much better with it. Still have daily pain and stiffness, but it's almost something I'm used to now.

Sad that we become conditioned to just live with our pain.

I missed this thread so I wanted to say how sorry I am that you have this awful disease. I have read that Rheumatoid Arthritis has pretty much the same pain as Fibro. I have RA so yes, I feel stiff and sore pretty much all day and I hate it too.
