I suffer from chronic pain due to Crohn's disease, and my GI doctor refused to treat pain unless I'm hospitalized - he told me to see either a primary care or pain mgt doc for anything beyond that.

I have received a few PMs from F2F OCS, and I just wanted to make it clear that I am also interested in people who can recommend actual, brick and mortar physicians/clinics in Knoxville that you might, from personal experience, know have compassionate doctors.

There's a couple pain clinics in the knoxville area that I KNOW are VERY Compassionate....only problem is a LOOOONNNGGG Waiting List. Maybe try to get on one of these.

Find an other GI doc.

www.eclimicmd.com does have a Doctor in Memphis I know its a drive but you only have to see them once a year. Any way you might drop them an e-mail and see what you think,
