I don't usually complain and give many praises where they are due.
But, I was wondering if anyone has come up to their first phone consult time yet with F2FDoc (it's been 3 months since my actual F2F with the doctor). After not hearing from them throughout the 3 months I assume all is good. I contacted F2FDoc this morning to find out how to go about setting up my phone consult. They emailed me back saying sorry but the doctor will not see anyone out 3 or 4 counties that she named (mine isn't one of them). Everyone needs to beware of this when you sign up with them...they pretty much just told me "Your SOL!!!". So now I have to start all over with another place..... pissedoff
That's very nice Customer Service there huh!? no

Hi,
you rightly point out that the doctor in question changed his Rules recently about which counties in FL that he will cover.

This is an isolated incident in FL only which we are working to resolve with more coverage as soon as possible.

This does not affect any other States.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Regards,

Amie.

As the rep stated it was Florida. Just can't believe they couldn't give someone a heads up on this problem. Recent or not, you knew people were coming up to their first re-consults. I was one of the first to do the F2F....poor company customer serve....

We'll take this one on the chin...we had a new doc lined up as a replacement so we thought we would be able to keep everyone looked after without interruption but when that doc dropped out at the last minute we were caught out. We won't make that mistake again.

Thanks,

I think we are talking about the same service. I went for my 1st visit on July 25th in Floresville, Tx. It is a suburb of San Antonio. I did not have to wait. He ask me what my systems were and what I took. I told him and was out in 10 minutes. It was a great relief to find someone who isn't going to think you're a drug addict. I had already made up my mind before I got there that as many records as I had and as far as I had travelled if I walked out of there without any RX's, I was going to really pissed.
Anyway Great Experience with DR.F

Not yet.....it's not for want of trying. They are hard to tie down in these two states for some reason.
We'll let everyone know just as soon as we sort something.

Hi Amie. Thank you for your presence on the board. It is most welcome.

I live in OR. Oregon is a more "liberal" state. Meaning that docs here probably feel that a patient should just make an appt. Not that every patient who comes in is going to leave with what they want, but there is no PMS, no triple scripts - none of that.

And, because of the "easier" atmosphere, contracting with an OCS might be anathema for them. I know my doc would never do it.

Having said that, I applaud your efforts to establish your service in the PNW.

Thanks for your kind feedback. It's very interesting for us to see the different approaches from clinics in different states. We will keep pushing for all those states where we haven't yet got the coverage.

Amie, you are GREAT! You always reply. Such a good CS.

It cannot be easy establishing doc relationships with all the states. I applaud your efforts and wish you only the best in securing those relationships.

Every state is different and that can only complicate it. But, I believe you will be ultimately successful - it will take time.

I am quite impressed with your level of service. And I say that just from my reading. I don't use any service, but I read up on them. You are doing a good job.

Thanks again!

You're right....it is really hard but we believe we can ultimately set-up and maintain a good quality, caring network of clinics that will treat patients properly within the law.
There are definitely some bumps in the road but we will continue to do our best!

Amie.

Hi Bri,

yes, please call or e-mail. We have had some phone issues due to local weather-related outages today but we should be back to normal. Old technology somehow seemed to work better!!

You raise an interesting point here.
Are you advising that there are certain states you are aware of that have regulations that would prohibit a physician from issuing refills on prescription drugs scheduled C-III and higher? Other than New York regarding benzodiazepines?
Along the same lines, is the need for "another consultation" somehow subject to similar state agency regulations or Rules requiring doctors to consult by telephone before a refill could be authorized within a six month period after the initial script?
I would think that your sharing of this kind of information upfront with your customers would be a very helpful addition to the service that you advertise on your Internet web site.
You seem to be a well-informed service representative and I look forward to hearing more details about these restrictive state regulations that are creating frustrations for many of your customers. Thank you in advance for your clarification.
