I have been around DB for about 10 years, posting only for 4 or 5 on the VIP side.I didn't post on the free side that much so I have 158 post. I'm effected by the new rule but I don't mind.
I understand why Admin had to apply this procedure. I would suspect it has saved folks $1000's of dollars.
He had to make a decision to "casterate" all those "shills" that were hanging around there.
As Rain wrote so elequently, "it's like spring cleaning"!

Perhaps someone already posted this, but I wonder if this rule will increase shilling or change the face of it? I'm thinking, if a scammer can't sign up and Shill immediately for him- or herself, couldn't s/he recruit a poster who has already surpassed the 200 post limit? Farfetched, sure, but I would be more likely to trust someone who's been around awhile and has lots of posts (ie: NOTCHTOP). We've seen the new sites that pop up and actually deliver to the first few people who place orders, and then the rest of the customers are S.O.L.
I've accepted my fate as a low poster and one who will most likely never reach 200, so just wondering aloud, I guess.

I think the jury is still out on this. Its not that hard for a Shill or scammer to ramp up to 200 posts fairly rapidly. They have a vested interest in doing so. Someone like you doesn't. Since I am over 200 now, I have noticed that the threads requiring 200 are almost dead now and the posts on those sites tend to be passing on what is being said through PMs whose honesty (the person sending the PM not the poster) can be just as suspect. My own personal opinion, especially now that a couple of months have gone by since it was implemented (please admin don't remind me that I keep harping on this) is that it has helped the scammers since many, many orders are placed by people with less than 200 (newbies are especially susceptible to scam/Shill posts since they don't know how to interpret this site yet) far more than it has helped the legitimate folks on the board.
In brief... if you had a good experience or are a Shill you can not post about it till you have 200 posts... but if you had a bad experience and want to report a scam you can do so in your first post...

posting like you have been posting, just nonsense to ad to your post count, will only get you banned or will not get you any extra permissions when you make it to 200 Cheating does not pay on our site!

I can understand why Admin wishes to stop shilling on the site, however some of us have been here several years and have done most of our posting on the VIP side, over there I have over 2,00 posts where as on this site I have just reached the 100 posts. This is because I do not enjoy posting on this side as much as I did on the VIP side. So I am used to posting, however I feel that it is a bit tough to make it 200 posts for certain areas as this will mean that experienced posters will not be able to have their say in their own right. In those areas.
However to make it an either or situation will just confuse many members and it is usually best to keep things simple. Which is what Admin has done and his word is law around here.

I am in the same boat after spending most of my time on the V.I.P. forum .I am really catching up over here. It's like going back as a freshman in high school.I understand what administration is trying to do and it doesn't bother me because I usually only post when I recieve or don't recieve my order and very seldom P.M. JMHO. B.D.
Just so you know, I went ahead and made $20.00 by selling the rights to my other account. So, have fun with the new shills! And guess what--that account is accessed through a different IP address--my work laptop! OH NO!
Maybe you shouldn't have been such a prick?
Also--it seems you can't ban IP addresses? Because I keep on registering! Or are you just the [censored] stupid administrator out of the bunch?
I will continue to register on this website, and I will continue to post, and there seems to be nothing you can do about it.
I'll just use my work laptop, my boyfriend's laptop, whatever.
I hope you read this whole thing, because I'm having a blast. [censored] you and everything you stand for. I can't wait to get my drugs.
Admin comments: Smart. But you will have to start from zero again...

It is foolish to advertise that you did this as having more than one account on each side of the board is against the Rules. Even if you are using a different IP address if you go into your original account that will be picked up by admin and could get you banned for good. Then where would you have to go to get the large amount of information that there is here? As far as I am aware there is only one other Pharmacy Watch site, it is far smaller than this one and carries less information than this one. It is also owned by the same person that owns Drugbuyers.
It is inadvisable to go against Admin’s Rules, as he always finds out in the end.

Seriously, after all this time why is this even an issue anymore. It is the Admins Rules, and yes why we all may not like Rules per se, this topic should have died eons ago. As someone said, just read the threads and make decisions based on that.
I apologize TAZ. I don't think I have ever been rude before, but I can see your point. My bad.
I think it was just a reaction after reading a thread that had me riled up as it is one that is going no where due to one poster. I will re-read what I post next time. Again I am sorry.

Odman, I was in a rotten mood last night and TAZ was right. I apologized and I am sorry. Yes, I read unread posts and as stated this happened to be after I read a thread where not only TAZ, but others are just plain done with rationalizing with a poster, so it carried over in my mood here. Sometimes, not often, yes, I get bitchiy and it comes out and I get tired. My bad and it will never happen again. So please just accept my apologies.
I do use the info on this site as I too have my own issues. So I will stay away now as you have suggested.
