No, there are no legit NROP (or ROP for that matter) sites for pain meds. At least for pain meds anyone in their right mind would take. That you pay a huge sum for. Fakes. Who knows what is in them?

Believe me, if there were legit pain meds being sold, NROP, you wouldn't have to ask. It would be clearly written.

What folks need to do is read. It becomes glaringly clear after a very short while what the situation is.

whats it take? a trip to the ER where they tell you that you have ingested some unknown chemical substance and unless they can find out what it is, your liver is going to shut down in the next few hours..? will that satisfy everybody? If you see OXYs for $ 399 for 50, or even 30, plan on loosing your money and maybe your life. the sellers do not care if you get sick or complain. all they are interested in is getting your money.
if you have legitmate pain issues then there is a dr somewhere that will treat you. even one of these appt services, if thats the best you can do. Even they want to see a history and some records. I hate seeing people come on here and act like this is the drug-grocery store. its a message board that people with chronic injury or pain use to share info regarding their health. its not a back alley.

Yeah, exactly! Good point. It was about four years ago when the NROP's went down. That sucked, they were good. Those days are now gone! Now it's just not worth the risk of ingesting gasoline/nail polish, whatever, and paying a lot to do so!

I never would have thought of going to a pain mgmt doc. lol Come on people, how many times does it need to be said? ALOT of people CAN NOT AFFORD to go to them. My records are way old and any new DR. will want new MRI's and x-rays. And heck, it's so bad I'm about out of even my monopoly money!! lol But, hey, I am willing to take donations toward my clinic bill. And, yes, I will do paypal!!

Everyone has been really helpful!! I appreciate it so much. Thank GOD I'll have my insurance approved in about 45 days!! But for all who took the time to get with me and offer some sage advice, thanks again for just taking the time to do so. Sometimes people just need temporary help. This is a great place to get it.

One last thing - never give up. And I don't mean just meds - but, more, never give up on quality of life (and that often means meds.) Life can be tough w/o pain and with pain - well - it can seem all but impossible. For your sake, for your children's (if you have them), your husband (if you have one, lol).

Just be wise when you speak with your doc. By wise I mean, you can't just go in there and say "I want 120 Hydro, or 120 Oxys" - you'll freak him/her out. Present your symptoms, how it affects your life, the limitations it places on you, etc. I wish you good fortune.

Hi guys, I haven't posted here but I am familiar with the board. I've used "betterhealth4u" for ritalin and its been great - super reliable, fast and authentic. I generally send a western union transfer and within 2-3 days receive the product via FedEx, packaged carefully.

It is true that there are scam sites but there are also some legit sites. You can't buy hardcore opiates from the internet but you can get common perscription drugs like antideppressants and such. i have used 3 different online pharamcies and got legitamit meds. so it's not impossible. But if you are hoping to buy hydrocodone or oxy over the iternet you won't be able to.

The answer is indeed "NO", there are technically no longer any NROP's. They've basically morphed into sites listed in the "Blatantly Illegal" section. Many of whom will deliver at a steep price, but it's much more clearly defined that you're breaking the law by doing so. The question of whether or not this whole process is "legal" has now been answered. That's all.

The choice is yours to make.

I hope your pain can be treated. It is alot of work - no matter what your issues are. If you have legitimate pain issues, don't give up. Some people on here have horrific maladies and can't get proper pain management, so it is not an easy task.

In the meantime - enjoy where ever you can.

I'd have to say if anyone is going to try this route they better do it pretty quickly, like yesterday. Now, that a TV program has been done about it things will more than likely change. The clinics will probably be way more cautious and they will be getting a great deal of attention. IMO.

If you are in a real pinch and can afford the prices you might want to try Frontier pharmacy. I did and I did not expect success.

For me they worked just like an NROP, although they said that they call your doc for approval in my case it would have been impossible for them to have actually done that. Some orders do get denied, but some go through so since they offer COD it couldn't hurt to try.

I ordered 10/20 and UPS showed up on Friday morning. I was shocked, but I got really lucky. If you haven't tried them it might be a good idea to do so. Especially, if you'd rather do COD than pay via western union. They are expensive though total was like $276 for 30 lortab COD. They shipped pretty quickly though. I never received any notice my order was approved and my tracking came the same day my order showed up. I did not know that it was even coming so when UPS showed up I wasn't ready with the money order. I haven't went to pick it up yet, but it is my order with them. RonA, you are sadly mistaken when it comes to Ohio which was one of the states highlighted in that documentary. A bill was proposed last week which is wrapped up in a mess of other bills as it almost always is that will actually change the law (if passed). If a person is caught with a prescription from Florida for a Schedule II Narcotic such as Oxy they must PROVE that the script was due to an injury while in Florida (with said medical records and history for the day it occured) or Temporary Residence as a Snow Bird per se. If not it is being proposed that it is a possesion violation which is a Felony in this state. Whether the Vanguard piece had anything to do with this I do not know.

I believe if correct if you read Funkyxxx's (I believe that is the Nick minus the rest) comments you will also see that Florida is making it harder. I seriously would not get on that train now.

I'm a long term pain patient, don't need to fly 1000 miles anywhere for anything. My doctor is in another state only for the fact he's so close to where I live in the other state.

Considering we have a huge forum for a bunch of hooky websites that, half don't even exist and the other half are just scams and ripoffs, there should be a section setup for people who frequent these pain clinics down there in Florida cause, unlike the majority of people here the people down in Florida are actually getting the meds they need. While we talk about it they are doing it, simple as that.

I went to Yahoo Yellow pages for Fort Lauderdale and searched for pain clinics........11 came up. I got the impression Fort Lauderdale is not too big of a town and 11 seems like an awful lot. In the Vanguard video, the one clinic they went to was packed with 200+ patients.

The also did a sting where they wired up an undercover cop, put a cast on his arm and leg and he sat in a chair in front of a pharmacy. Very soon people coming to fill their scripts came up and talked about selling their pills and they actually busted a young couple who did just that.

That was all and that is all the cops even said they can do. What can they do??? TECHNICALLY there is nothing illegal going on. Patients go in, pay $290 for an MRI, get looked at by the doc and get written a legal prescription for whatever. Then they get it legally filled. If they took them as prescribed and Im sure many do, they would NEVER EVER get in any trouble whatsoever. It's the goofy ones that walk up to people trying to sell their pills that go to jail like they did in the Vanguard video.

The number I heard from that video still rings loud in my head. All of the other states combined only account for 15% of all oxycodone products prescribed in the US. Florida by itself accounts for 85%.

Oddly enough it was this exact same county in Florida, Broward County that started the cocaine explosion in the US back in the '70's. That also gave us the COPS show which is still going today.

I watched the video for season 3 opener. I havent heard of this show until it was posted here. And im not referring to people who have extreme pain and no ins, plus the episode I saw.....many of them have shut down or they move and these guys find them. I cant believe the amount of meds they had when they showed the officer all those different baggies of meds.

I was referring to something I wouldnt do. I am very underprescribed......10mgs methadone 3x day for chronic pain. Thats all I get...but what I was trying to convey is that it wasnt worth it for ME. If I lose my pain management dr then Im screwed, there is no way I could pay that kind of money.

i wish it wasn't like that. i also wish 16 year olds (or adults) wouldn't do stupid, irresponsible things. but i deal with all of those things on a daily basis, so what can i say....you can't even get benzos from an NROP anymore, and that stayed much, much longer than the pain meds because of the schedule (benzos class IV, pain class III).

But one can get Soma and Fiorcet (sp?) from NROPs. Granted those are not narcotics but many folks find those meds helpful.

Don't use drugstorecorporation, cancunrx,medicaredrugs that are listed onthe bi sections. They are all scams. There is only one BI site that I know has never ripped anyoneoff. Please read the BI section and read the threads and you;ll see the one BI I am referring to.

Drugstore corp is having major problems but some of the others are okay. It depends on your risk tolerance.
