I had my first visit today with them and it was different than the old ways of doing things. This doctor was very strict about records and they do need to be less than a year old to continue with them which is no problem. The doctor had me sign a pain management contract to turn into my pharmacy and wrote me a script with no refills which he could not do so anyways. You will probably also will not get the same amount or drug type that many have been getting from their previous OCS's unless it is shown in their records. They were overall very professional and polite and will see how the follow up goes.Any questions just PM me.

Hi tarheel1!

I am interested in learning more about your experience with F2FDoc.com, but I am unable to PM you since, I don't have enough posts. Perhaps you could PM me, and we could dialog that way.

I assume you are a fellow Heels fan! (I'm from Chapel Hill myself...)

I look forward to (hopefully) receiving a PM from you very soon!

Thanks, tarheel1!

I registered online yesterday morning, (Monday) and within an hour had been contacted by F2F. Very polite customer service, very helping. I sent in my records within the next hour and will admit I was a bit scared of paying $299 up front, but there was no need for the worry. She (F2F customer service)charged my card while I waited on the phone and then began setting up my appointment with the Dr. I had asked for a Tuesday appointment, but when she called (all while I was on the phone with her waiting) she found out they were not in the office I wanted to go to on Tuesday, but they were there on mondays. So I asked her if I could possibly get an appointment for tonight. (Meaning lastnight) While still on the phone with them she asked if they could get in me and to my suprise they said yes. So within 90 minutes I registered, paid and had an appointment for the same day.
I don't mean to give such a play by play but I'd like to provide some good feedback on my experience. I know from reading this thread people are looking to know about what's been happening. My consult request was expedited beyond what I would have ever expected when I signed up in the morning. The level of professional treatment I was given yesterday by F2F and the Dr.'s office was above and beyond what I could have expected.
I know all patients are different, with different medical conditions, records, attitudes, etc. and a lot comes into play when a Doctor reviews and consults with a patient. I know that Doctor's are not going to just give out a certain prescription because you ask for it.
The Doctor did decide to continue the same treatment that I had been getting and he wrote me a prescription that I could take away with me.
I just don't want people to think that because I can continue the same treatment I had been getting that others will also. It's up to your condition and the doctor's
recommendation.
I would not mind at all and would like it if I could have this DR. as my PCP. Very polite, professional, comfortable to talk to and knowledgable. I did not feel like I was just pushed in and out and given a prescription with no meaning other than to collect money.
I hope posting my experience helps ease some concerns or answers some questions.
I don't want to give too much information away but I will say that I am in Florida.

Having a hard time getting the Doctors office on the phone in SC? I had my consult last month and they can't write but 1 month at a time but promised he would follow thru with 3 months but I either had to come buy his office or he could fax it to the pharmacy, which is 1 hr from home, his office is 3. Its been 2 solid days and no one will answer the phone nor return my call. I left 1 message yesterday, and 1 today. I will be in SC Tomorrow so I was hoping to pick up my refill, but I cannot get anyone to help me. I hate to be at his mercy right now since no one answers the phone, seems like somthing is wrong. I will post a reply to this to let anyone know how it turns out, I guess I can ride to his Office on Thursday if I need to but it is a boring 3 hrs each way. He was a Very nice doctor though. Anyone else with good second fills from this doctor?

Had my consult with the F2Fdoc.com doctor in Irving, TX (Dallas area) yesterday. Let me just say, had I been able to find a doctor like this before, I would never have needed a service like F2Fdoc.com to begin with. One of the best doctor's visits I've ever had. For starters, he actually listened. Not "listened" like some doctors, who nod and shake their head, and then start talking and proving that they didn't really care about what you just said. He seemed to actually care about helping to provide some relief from pain and restore some quality of life. Never once did he seemed rushed or hurried, gave me plenty of time to ask questions, discuss anything, etc. Heck, he even gave me a card with his personal email on it in case I had questions or issues later. I just can't say enough about the guy. Phenomenal experience. So if you're in the Dallas area, do NOT hesitate to use the Irving doctor through F2Fdoc.com. I really hope they keep this guy around for a while.

I registered with F2F and went to the Oklahoma chiro with prescription writing ability...thats a bit of sarcasm but remember the Mona Vie story. Marty is waiting for me to schedule for a trip to Texas, so glad to hear the Irving doc was good. I am scared that between Oklahoma to Texas I might have some trouble filling the prescription but I think I will be o.k, since a neighboring state. Thank you for the input, need to get to Irving before he gets too busy.

Okay. I had my appointment today. I was nervous. Especially about paying upfront. But here's my quick summary of the process.

1. I signed up on the website. I sent my records, then called to confirm. I also emailed a pdf of the records. (You can use Nitro PDF Maker from download.com for free.)

2. They made an appointment for the next week. They charged my card. I was nervous about this. But sometimes life is a risk.

3. My condition made it impossible for me to get around for two weeks so I had to reschedule three times. They didn't give me a hard time. The office manager was so very nice and helped me out so much.

4. The doc was in Irving. I went in. Complete office visit. Review of my records. Very very nice doctor. Very compassionate.

5. I'm a very happy, pain free girl right now. The pharmacy there is not expensive also.

Again, this was the Dallas area doctor. I prefer this over the teleconsults and waiting etc. I rarely ever write reviews, but I wanted to contribute because you folks have been very helpful.

Good luck. And I hope you stay pain and stress free!

I just got back from the doctor in Dallas area. I sent all records to www.f2fdoc.com and they made the apointment on monday for me to arrive on wednesday.
I really felt like the doctor cared and didnt look at me stupid when i told him my problems and he saw my MRI and other doctor reports on lower back injury. I explained i am going to phycal therapy 3 times a week and they are having problems with the tension in my back due to mussels being so tight. He
wrote me a new presciption of a mussle relaxer one that will not make me loopy. This guy is legit and cares for your well being in not just the short term but the long term. It cost me a few dollars to get there but it was worth every cent I paid.
he did give me his card in case I had any questions later on.
This is not a guy to goto if your just looking for pills to get hight off of. He is the real thing and understands dealing with chronic pain and trying to function like a normal person. I went here due to a report I read on this blog about him and they were 100% right.

Just had my Consult and everything went as smooth as it could. Very nice Office and Very Nice Doctor. F2fDoc.com is a very good company who I believe will do what they can to help you. I am having my 40th B-Day next week so I was really nervous to get this over with before tomorrow since we are leaving for a week for a vacation to celebrate my 40th, and it went perfect. You do need very good records for all of there doctors. I transfered from the SC doc to the NC doc since I live in NC, made more since and it went smooth!!!

I am new to the F2F so please help me and answer this question regarding the consult canceled by the F2F doc. First I thought your medical records had to state you received pain meds if that is what you need for your chronic condition. What happens if you have received them but didn't like the doc so you are going the F2F route; couldn't he/she have seen the patient and then said you still have a refill and then mailed the script after seeing the patient when it was due. Can you clarify a bit more since now I don't know if I want to make an appointment because I was given meds in the past but do not have a refill and need a new doctor? I hope the rep can answer and marty is from the former MNP (i think) and was always nice. Do you doctors contact the doctors on your records. I, for example, don't like my PCP, he doesn't treat my condition accordingly but he wouldn't care for me going to a doctor he didn't refer or in his network. Please answer these question before I spend all that money, time and effort.

Hi,
It sounds like we need to have a chat with you on the phone to answer all your questions...we don't charge for that!!

If you have a genuine condition and records that prove it then the doctors will not have an issue with treating you once they have seen you as long as you are not receiving the same treatment elsewhere, although we can never guarantee exactly what will happen between you and the relevant doctor.

Regarding your existing PCP, if you want to be treated by another doctor than that is your right. Many of our patients have changed their PCP to one of our introduced doctors once they have seen them.
Perhaps you can give us a call to discuss further please?

Thanks,

Regards,

Amie.

I used them. They do give out refills but it depends on the doctor. The doctor I got sent to in California was very firm in"NO REFILLS". SO good luck if you use them.
