I would say that people are getting tracking, COD totals, and email responses. If they were not, I think this Board would be hopping with angry posts. JMO

Yeah to be honest, I really think people are getting serviced.

Unless, no one wants chatter on the boards. Otherwise we would have pages of posts.

So, keep up the good work PPC!!

I got a COD amount on Friday. Still no tracking number but one thing I did notice is that I had to send my shipping address, telephone number, medication type and amount. There are probably a plethora of reasons refills are taking a while to get out but Im hopeful they are, and seeing there aren't more posts from people left w/o pain meds gives me more hope.

i hear alot about people getting emails, but not alot on tracking numbers and delivery...the website is effectively shut down and from what others are posting phone numbers are not in service, or not being answered...i guess i'm less hopeful than most until we get some actual confirmation on refills...

an in-law has been waiting awhile. reconsulted early, and was due first fill on the 10th.

very minimal communication received, and no result as of yet.

this monday, in-law requested info on PPC's F2F program (from mobileclinic address)and asked about making an appt since they were getting nowhere. no response yet.

I had clicked on refill on their site last week before it went down, but received nothing. So I took the advice here and sent an email to Jody with refill as the subject. I received a very nice email from her late last night asking me to confirm my shipping address and type/amount of meds. She also mentioned that the pharamcies are taking up to 72 hours to fill orders and then it can take up to 48 hours before the package actually ships.

I will keep you all posted as to what happens next.

I have two refills remaining also.

I know the pharmacy that filled my first one was in Texas.

Do you know the name and have the phone number on your bottle? I want to try to transfer my two refills.

Well, they don't answer the phone.
They do not answer emails.

I paid $327 for my consult and got the following email from Jody:

In a message dated 3/31/2009 10:47:31 A.M. Central Daylight Time, jody@propatientcare.com writes:

Meds would be there tomorrow. We are able to honor refills as well.

THANKS...JODY

I don't appreciate being lied to in order to get me to reconsult for $327 and one fill!!!!!

So you are waiting on a refill that was requested on 03/31/09?

Did you send an email to your Rep, with REFILL in the subject line?

If it said anything other then Refill it may have been deleted as they are inundated with emails that are not correctly titled.

They are trying to take care of everyone and do not have a large staff. Things have changed vastly in this industry and as far as I know they are the only ones continuing to help their patients.

They are at a 72hr minimum delay on filling and it could take 48hrs for that tracking to show movement.

YOU cannot have your Refill tranferred. If you do call the pharm, they will cancel your acct and refills.

If you have not sent in an email for your refill, that is what you need to do and wait at least 72hrs before emailing again.

Best of Luck

franzo217, I empathize with your situation; I myself am in the same boat...however, they were clear in their communication prior and without quoting the whole email in which they spelled out their process, here is a line from the email that we have to keep in mind:

"However, as you are aware, the laws and Rules change on a daily basis and this structure could change without notice."

I really hope you are able to resolve the issue, but once again, contacting the pharmacy directly is not the way to go about it, or correct protocol...

Hi Xan:
I cannot remember since the website is gone whether they require 25, 27, or ? from: date of "Order", date of "shipment" , or date of "receipt" to request refills.

I used to be able to order 25 days counting forward on the calendar from the day of "order". When should I put in for my upcoming refill now?

Thanks all - obviously with the sensitive nature of staff I DO NOT want to upset any applecart & go to the bottom of the line. But I am heartened by your post that PPC is hanging in. I too put in for the mobiledocs and am waiting for the contact on that program.

My husband got his email requesting address, prescription verification, and preferred method of shipping on Sunday afternoon from Mimi. The she sent him an email on Monday morning telling him his refill is being processed today (Monday) and gave him his COD total. As of now, Wed. afternoon, still no tracking number. But not surprised....he's just waiting it out. I told him not to send any more emails just yet.

Do you all think it will be this busy next month when we request a refill?

if this is a policy that they want adhered to, they should probably say something or include it on their site...

Has anyone have any idea why there is such a delay? With no new consults I would think it would be a little less demand on the pharmacy. Just wondering...

This info is on their Voice Mail. Also anyone who recieved ANY and ALL emails from them in the Past 2 weeks, there is a disclaimer at the bottom of said email about the 72 hours and 48hours for movement, and to PLEASE ALLOW THAT TIME BEFORE YOU CALL AND EMAIL. And then it thanks you for your patience.

I know myself what it is like to run low or be out of meds. You are in Pain and cranky. But, Over emailing and Pissingg and moaning is NOT going to get your refill to you faster.

Sending email after email only takes up the time they could be using to send out the scripts to be filled.

As you can see from other posters here...These Girls are WORKING THEIR ASSSES OFF. Replying to emails late at night and on Sundays, this is their time to be with their families.

And as far as since there are no new consults so the pharm should be less stressed, that is not the case. Most people that would have needed a Re-consultation, did it early to be in compliance with the new law. So there are still the same amount of refills due.

PPC has no control over how many scripts a pharm is willing to send out a day. If they did, everyone would have overnight delivery. As we all know, PPC does not get paid until you hand over their COD. Which means they want to deliver your meds as fast as you do. They want to be paid and the patients want to be pain free.

Really, there is nothing that can be done, that these girls are not already doing.

Again, the Subject should be REFILL

Not. Refill = last name
Not. MY account, Not Refill Due x date, Not Are you honoring refills...etc...

JUST: REFILL

There really is no point in sending email after email ,as there is no new info to report. There is a delay. I know that nobody wants that, Shite...I don't want that. But, I know that there is nothing anyone can due. The only way to speed the process up, is to really not slow it down.

Everyone needs to hang tight and they will be taken care of, as fast as possible.

Best of Luck to everyone and I will keep you posted on the status of my refill as it comes due on Fri. I did email Jody as I was going to be at an appt this am with my sis and I wanted to make sure I had it in as soon as my 2 days before due date happened.

That is the only email I will send Jody. I Know she reads her email. ANd I am confident that my order will be processed just as fast as she can. She wishes she were super women and can help us all at one time. But she's not.

But, I still think shes super...LOL
