I don't know if all of that is helping the w/d symptoms or if it's simply confusing your body so much that it doesn't know what to feel so it just gives up!!!

For me I usually get bi-polar during the WD's (crying one minute fine the next), I get extreme restlessness verging on some sort of psychosis where I find myself pacing back and forth sometimes for 30 minutes or even longer at a time, I get the freezer burning skin and the prickle-clothes where any/every fabric even your bedsheets feel like brillo pads on your skin, and of course, insomnia. For my particular withdrawals, ive found the following things great aids;

- Gamma Amino Butyric Acid (GABA) @ 1000mg 1-2x during the daytime (reduces restlessness, anxiety, mood swings, makes time seem to go by faster)

- GABA @ 1500-2000mg right before bed in the evening (reduces restlessness and insomnia before bed)

- Rhodiola Rosea @ 250-500mg 1-2x a day (reduces mood swings, anxiety, restlessness, seems to improve focus/cognition but fairly subtle)

- 5-hydroxytryptophan @ 100-200mg a day (reduces anxiety and restlessness, when taken before bed seems to assist with better sleep)

- Ensure Meal Replacement shakes (MRP) @ 1-3 shakes a day (keeps fatigue away and energy up, also helps with mood and other things)

- Essential Fatty Acid Oil (EFA) preferably Udos Oil, but flaxseed/hempseed oils work well too @ 1-3 tablespoons per day (reduces mood swings and helps support mood especially in the long term, seems to reduce restlessness, relieves anxiety, provides energy/combats fatigue)

- Vitamin/Mineral Complex @ the recommended guidelines on the label (reduces fatigue, anxiety, energy, improves mood especially good over the long-term use post-detox)

- Benzos of your choice are a godsend for the first 2-3 days, you can take them during the day and then before bed, taking during the day accelerates time so a day of misery goes by in a flash, and taking before bed is obvious, best way to combat opiate WD insomnia which is horrible when your in agony watching each minute tick away on the clock as you lay in what feels like a bed of brillo pads

- 100% pure pomegranate juice @ at least 8oz a day (full of good things for your brains neurochemical systems)
