The propatientcare.com is gone and we removed their listing and sent their main thread to the archive...

One of their last messages as posted by a member was:
 Quote:
Due to The Ryan Haight Act, the doctors have decided to discontinue the online consults.

YOU CAN ALSO VISIT THE NEW SERVICES WE ARE OFFERING AT

http://www.mobiledoctorusa.com

We are diligently working with a new company to provide your
Face-2-Face consults in all areas. We will email you with that information soon.
If you live in (or would like to do a consult at either location):

Florida please email us at FLclinic@propatientcare.com

Texas please email us at txclinic@propatientcare.com

Your patience is greatly appreciated during this transition.

Thanks,
Jody

Do we know for a fact they are completely gone? Or just maybe the website

I had refills, so I'm really scared. One being due right now-

I just heard from my rep and my refill (that I put in for a week ago) is being "processed" today. I am told the pharmacy is running about 72hrs behind and that the bottle will show no refills even though I do have refills. This is so nobody will attempt to get a refill with the bottle at their local pharm.

I did get my COD amount.

So they are still there working their behinds off.

Hang tight, its all we can do.

The propatient care website is NOT gone. I just logged on it about 5 minutes ago. They also answer the phones. Hope this helps for those with refills.

I called Mimi's # and only got a recording and message that line is no longer monitored. Oh well, we never said these folks don't bear false witnesses!

Decided to delete my post, after reading about the illegal threads...If it is illegal to use an ROP after April 15...I cannot post as it is now an illegal site.

This site is NOT an illegal site. They no longer set up phone consults (that IS now illegal). They have F2F doctors in 2 cities. It is NOT illegal to receive refills after 4/13/09 as long as the consult was BEFORE 4/13/09.

Changed thread name to reflect changes... things change...

Their site is no longer gone but their Web says:

 Quote:
PRO PATIENT CARE is NO longer in operation

Due to new law, "The Ryans Haight Act", doctors and pharmacies have restructed their operations and we can no longer provide the same services as before.

I received a tracking notice today. It is already picked up and moving. Requested RF about 2 1/2 weeks ago, got first email from them on 4/9 asking me to confirm order, I did same day, got next email 4/13 stating it was processed and I should get tracking number and 4/20 was when I finally got the tracking number. So it is even longer then 72 hour delay as they indicated, I would say be patient (its hard) but they will come through.

The email states that it is a MINIMUM of 72 hours before a tracking number is sent - not within 72 hours.

Actually my email does not say tracking number within 72 hours. It advised you would receive the tracking number and then wait 72 hours before calling if there is no movement. I am not trying to be argumentative or split hairs, the bottom line is you are going to have to wait for a while, I was just wanting to let people know that even their estimates are just a best guess and that they are trying and we need to be patient. Its hard when your out of meds to be patient :), but that is what we will have to do for now. Thanks!

Hopefully the PPC crew was taken care of...will miss Mimi, she was great...

I guess it just depends on your Rep, I received my refill about 12 days after I initially requested a refill (and it was after 4/15). They are running behind so hang in there guys, they will come through for you. This is one of the few ROPs that didnt cut and run. Their new website has a mobile clinic coming to my state at the end of May - that's good news because I just received my last refill a few days ago.

I think it depends on what pharm you are at as well.

PPC has no control over how many each place is willing to ship per day.

So I think delays could be pharm related and how you approach your rep.

I am thinking that if everyone was waiting a long time, we would see more people posting that they are angry over waiting. SO, I really think the delays are a reasonable time frame.

Or so I am hoping, as I too have a refill due this week.

I know I sound like a broken record...But I will again tell everyone that is coming due on a refill:

ONE EMAIL!!!!

If you have no response in 72hrs, then send ONE MORE EMAIL!

They are not monitering the phone, so no need to ring it off the hook.

When you email...ONLY PUT REFILL In the subject line. It will be deleted without being read if it says for example: " Verification Information for Refill"

It MUST be REFILL...thats it.

Just like Tem said, THEY WILL COME THROUGH! Just try not to monopolize their time, so they can get their job done.

Good Luck Everyone. ANd I will report back when I get tracking. Due fri and I will keep everyone posted, after I send my ONE EMAIL!

If you follow the few Rules they give, everything will run smoothly. If you help them, they will help you.

Watcher, how are you putting in your refill request? I can't even log on to my accout anymore to get to that area of their website. Looked at their mobile unit website and they won't be comming to my area, at the earliest 8/2009 so I'm not holding out hope for that.

Hi Hickboy, how's it going today? Still cold and soon to be raining again in good old Michigan! Gotta love it! When is spring going to get here already!

When you guys get your tracking numbers, please post your turn around. So the class can see what delay there is when following the Rules.

Like I said before, delays are either pharm related or your communication style related!! LOL

Good Luck All

And, Go Jody, Go Jody, Go

I gave her a little cheer for today!!!
