If you consulted Tuesday, you should have received, according to a relative. BTW, can you PM me on the records you needed? Thanks.

I just consulted with them about a month ago and got two refills with my script. Question, after the new law passes, will they honor the refills?

My friend is using these guys and they switched him to the pharm that starts with "Q" and apparantly he has been waiting a few weeks. How fast is the other pharm they have turning scripts around? He doesn't know if he should ask to change because its taking so long and from what we've read, seems like the other pharm is filling rather quickly. Please let me know via PM or however so I can pass on. Mucho Gracias.

I really need to let you all know that this ROP is playing with your'e wellbeing. Now, this is OMHO, but I saw what are in these capsules and I am afraid someone is going to become really sick, or worse..These so called "non addicting" capsules are dangerous. Here is the list if ingretants.
Nortriptyline 20mg
Ultram 75mg
Motrin 200mg and or Tylenol 300mg
Baclofen ??mg
Nortriptyline is a tricylic antidepressent that is a very old drug that is seldom even used today
Ultram, well you know what that is, and if anyone thinks it is not addicting, talk to someone who has tried to stop. Plus if a person is dependent on opiates, he/she will go into Withrawls, it must not be taken together.
Baclofen. This is also an old drug originally used for patients with epilepsy, MS, and Parkinsons Diease. There is a doctor from France who claims Baclofen is a miracle drug for every addiction there us,including heroin, cocaine amd alcohol. What they aren't telling you is Baclofen if suddenly stopped will cause the same withdrawls as benzos.
I am asking all of you to Please talk with any medical profession before you take this medication. They have even gone as far as trying to compare a new drug called Tapendol which has just been aproved by the FDA for severe pain, however it hasn't been prescribed yet because it has to be formally classified, and it will be a class 2 narcotic..Again, I am not a doctor, so all I can do is tell you the things I know, and I can care what happens to you.

Given the recent poor to egregious behaviour of some ROPs as their death knell nears, we need to maintain a healthy skepticism toward any 11th. hour nostrum that these ROPs may tout.

Hottie's research is appreciated and should be considered by anyone planning to go this questionable route.

However, I can't help but wonder about this one statement, assuming I'm reading it correctly:

For years we've read of folks opting for Ultram/Tramadol as a "second choice" to hydrocodone based preps in a pinch.

Obviously there have been a lot of serious "pinches" of late.

Can you or another member offer a clarification of that? Years of postings seem to show the opposite -- that Ultram/Tramadol actually staves off the withdrawls many face.

I've been prescribed its cousin, Ultracet (Ultram + apap) several times and have taken that as well as hydrocodone at least during the same day. The relief is admittedly brief with Ultram based meds, but no one has ever spoken of the dangers that you mention.

We're going back a bit, at least in my experience, but there didn't appear to be any contraindications as I recall.

Did I read you wrong?

I do agree the rest of the junk in this unknown potion MNW is offering is best to be avoided.

Thanks!

Hi Patient2all, I should have worded the warnings about taking Ultram with other opiates better. This is what I should have written.. If a patient is dependent on any opiates, and by that I mean someone really having to take a lot, he/she shouldn't take Ultram for at least 6-12 hours after the last dose or he/she may go into withdrawls. It isn't like taking Narcan or anything like that, but it could be uncomfortable. In fact, even on the MNW website it says not to take any of these new medications within 6 hours of taking any other opiate such as vicodin.. I have read the same things dozens of times but of course now I can't find anything about it Anyway, I am just glad I could help....

baseball7 did you ever receive your refill?, I tried to reconsult and they all of the sudden want my med records updated, I have been with them for 2-1/2 years and there is no time to spare here, I was just a little upset that I have to do this for 1 last consult, they wont even send me samples without updated records. Has anyone out there tried these samples? I haven't heard of anyone trying these new meds yet.

Not sure what is going on with this place at this exact time but a few weeks back they called and said they could reconsult me before the end of the month but the same thing as somebody said above, they needed updated records. ok fine so a few days later i tried to fax them in and it said it wouldn't go through to the number. i went to the site, double checked my number and i had the same one written down so i tried again, it kept saying it wouldnt go through, strange. i called and of course they never answer, and i couldnt leave a message because it was full. Now I found out the pharmacy they had been using before is either closed down or no longer shipping for online orders. I am sure they are looking or have found a new place but this place seems to have gotten pretty shady.....no thanks, glad the records didn't go through now.

I did one, since it was less than an hour from where I work. I was in and out in 10 minutes, and got a tracking number the next day. I'm curious if anyone actually flew into Dulles?

I am thinking of going with them as my OCS Dr. in McLean has basically quit after my F2F and refill. How do you like them and the doc you saw and did you get what you needed/requested? I have good records (MRI, etc) and am currently getting them together for them. What type of meds (manufacturer, etc.) do they send? Before I got an actual rx to get filled. Also, I registered on their website and they requested my PCM's name and #.. I have no issue as they don't rx anything stronger than Ultram.. just wondering if they call them? you can pm if you don't want to post this. TIA!

misskatt- I got this email from I thought medsnationwide about prescribing hydrocodone:

Dear Patient,
This is Rich and Lisa from Health Services Pa. LLC. We are affiliated with Dr. Raza and MedsNationwide. Dr. Raza has asked us to send this email to inform you that we have a physician in VA. who is doing face-to-face consultations for hydrocodone or any controlled medication.
Once you have completed your visit, the remainder of your follow-up over the next two years will be over the phone with
Dr. Raza.
If you are interested in scheduling an in person visit with our Virginia physician to continue your pain management, please call
us at: 570-267-0552 Mon-Fri, 10:00am to 4:00pm or visit our site at: https://healthservicesadmin.com and you can either sign into your account or create a new account from this website.
And remember you only need to see him in person once every two years.

Chopper-

Thanks for the info. I have been on 5/500, 7.5/500 and 10/325 throughout the years and am thinking of going to their compound they now have. Their VA doc is only about a 45 minute drive for me. Thanks alot!

Is anyone getting their meds from MNW? I have been waiting for over a week and a half and it still has not shipped. They keep saying tomorrow. I am worried.

Relative went there who lives in VA. Very strict paperwork. You must fill out HIPPA release which also allows them to contact your primary care--four or five pages of paperwork in their office before the exam, and you had better have substantial records. They are being very careful--people who walk into the place thinking they are going to get a script handed to them--wrong.... Also check your info with some database. I have personal knowledge of all this. Did anyone hear that they are changing the visits to more often in a few months? Also scripts? I am not asking for names, dates, places, as I think they ruin it for the service and draw untoward attention. Just general response is good for me, speaking solely personally.

WOW! Dharma, that is what comes to mind. The squeeze just gets tighter and tighter. And I really can't blame them - they are trying to stay above the law. Just being in the biz puts them (the services) at risk. Especially because of the unscruptulous ones.

Good info - thanks. Hope you are doing OK.
