I hope someone can help! If i've treid effexor, paxil and prozac in the past, and none have helped with my depression/anxiety, what med will?

Also, if a patient is already having suicidal thoughts, aren't antidepressents counterindicative? And what can be given in lieu of?

I have numerous frineds and family that have all used cymbalta!! (sp)

They say within just a week it was like they were a whole new person. My bf takes cymbalta and uses valium when she really starts to have a panic attack.

I take Cymbalta and it works very well for me. As your friend said, it didn't take very long to start working.
