I have taken Milnacipran for the last 4 months and it has helped a great deal for my fibromyalgia pain -it has decreased my pain considerably-I take 100mg/day ...I think it also helps with depressions as well. (I have used the brand Ixel from Europe so far will prob try the new usa brand savella soon
My doc had me on it for a little while, but no matter what I did, it made me pukey sick. I didn't really notice any difference in the way it made my Fibro feel, but probably cuz I couldn't keep it down half the time!

I tried Milnacipran also. I suffer from anxiety to begin with and this made it way worse. It was a nightmare. Now I'm without insurance and my last hydro script runs out in a few days. I'm in a panic to find something that will help when that happens. Withdrawal on top of fibro pain is not something I even want to think about. Especially with 2 little ones running around.

Thanks for the suggestion tigersmom but I wish I could take Tramadol. I was given Tramadol before I was ever given hydro and it made me very sick with vomiting and dizziness. I'm really afraid to give it another try.
