I guess someone didn't like the truth-ness to my last post on here and had Admin delete it. I guess the truth hurts.......

Admin...what was so improper with my last post on here. It was no different then Sam's post above. . . totally personal thoughts. If you can't say what you think on here then why bother posting anything.
Admin is absolutely bias and not impartial....

Sam's post....this post is uncalled for, especially coming from a person that is NOT a DOD customer. I can say even more but then it will to get deleted

James' character....James is a good rep for DOD. At least he trys to answer everyone's questions. I have been at other place where they are to good of themselves to answer to anyone. I would rather hear the truth then nothing at all....Thanks for all you do and try to take care of James....ignore those blah-blah-blah posters!!! Keep up the good work!!!

Ive been making trips to florida every month. I live in TN and my question is, is it illegal to go to florida and see a doctor get meds and drive back as long as the doctor is legit?

Syancey - maybe I'm splitting hairs, but it is dependence and not addiction. There is a difference.

I, too, hate the dependence part, but hate the pain even worse.

James - yes, you'll have to take the good with the bad. And what I mean by "bad" is when someone doesn't have a good experience, they have every right to come on here and post it. I thank you for acknowledging that.

Topgun - I think your post was deleted because it was rude to Sam. Nothing about bias - I believe Admin does his deal level best to treat all posters alike. If you are going to put people down, expect to be deleted. Your truth isn't necessarily another's truth.

And, even if one isn't a patient of DOD, observations can be made and input can be offered. The fact that James comes here and posts says alot about him. And when he's wrong, he says so. I admire that.

James - In sincerely hope, for patient's sake and for yours, that reliable docs can be found for those areas where patients were left high and dry. I bet you hope for that too.

OK.

You do seem genuine in complying with the new laws and for that I applaud you.

I know that in some states a physician is required to Notify patients at least 30 days prior to discontinuing practice or it is a violation called "abandonment". I would venture to guess that is part of the reason why there is a different physician doing the telephone consultations. That way it seems that there is continuation of patient coverage. Ideally it would be a physician from the same practice. One could argue that any 2 physicians treating the same patient, working for the same company and using the same records are, in a way, partners. Also, it is no easy task to get a license renewed after it has expired. It is similar to applying and can easily take at least 3, and more commonly 6 months to occur. --91

You've been busy James. Thanks for caring about CPers. And trying to make docs available. It means alot. Keep up the good work.

For everyone - I don't use DOD, but I want kudos to go to a service that is at least trying to be a good service.

Hello James!

I am fairly new to this site, but I can tell that you are sincere and really try to help others. I appreciate that, and I am fairly certain that I will be using doctorsondemand.com very soon. I do have a couple of questions and was wondering if you could help me or should I call the cust. service line? I thank you for your time and patience.

Tiades - Oregon seems low on the list. Our population is not the same as bigger urban areas. Even so, I wish services would consider Oregon. There are plenty of CPers here too.

Having said that - I believe slowly but surely, DOD and others will get docs in all states. I believe that is their goal.

My husband is heading home and I need to take the "bank robber" beanie off and fix my hair. LOL. I thank my son - cause he made me laugh. He just fixed me eggs on toast (which I ate next to nothing of). He is a blessing and I am a lucky woman.

Be well, my friend.
