Is DHC a good alterative to Hydrocodone?

What is the purpose of this poll?

This one is a little complicated for me. Is it more like, "Which is better?"

1. Hydrocodone
2. DHC

I think that is what is meant. If so, then the answer is probably 1 if comparing equivilent doses. But I'd rather have 120mg DHC over 1mg of hydro.

DHC doesn't do anything for my pain, whereas hydrocodone allows me to function (somewhat) normally. There is no comparison, imo.

I wouldn't suggest an opiate tolerant person rely on DHC. If you really want an accurate depection of DHC's power it's that of about codeine. Some people say one times more potent than codeine but that is probably being overly gracious.

To me, just from reading threads. 60mg DHC is almost like 10MG hydro (say a standard 10/325). But it is like apples and oranges. I say this as a former hydro user and never used DHC.

I've used both and don't agree that 60mg DHC equals 10mg hydro. That's me though and everyone is different.

I agree, Oxy80. I have taken 120 mg of DHC and felt nothing, whereas 10 mg hydrocodone will generally knock out some (if not all) of my pain.

The reason I'm looking for input/experiance is because most the OCS's doctors only like to prescibe # 90
This does not work for me for the entire month.
So I was looking into ordering from IOP to
Supplement my meds
Don't really trust dealing with any web site who claims to sell
Hydros or Oxy's etc... not to mention the high prices

However, there are a lot of good reliable sites who offer codeine
Even DHC. my understanding is DHC is more potent than codeine
Codeine does nothing for my pain!!
Hydros work, so I was in hopes DHC would be a close alternative!!!!

I would say no, DHC is not a good alternative to Hydrocodone. And the price of DHC you could really purchase real hydrocodone. I'd look into that if I were you.

I do get Hydro from am OCS
In the long run with consult,shipping and refills---
They are about $2.5(e) each 10 mg
But as I states they only prescibe #90
This seems to be about 30-40 short!!.....

The sites I see who sell hydros(IOP's/NROP's)
Seem to charge about $8(e) per 10mg almost 4x the cost!!!!
Not to mention buying schIII online is risking!!!
Benzos, Tramadol, alittle codeine is one thing, Oxys, Hydros, etc.
Seems your dealing with a whole new type of website. And higher risk of customs keeping your meds. IMP
