That is unusual to me too; I have known that by calling the pharmacy directly, if you get a live person (which I usually did in CA) they usually say YOU MUST GO THROUGH ACMG...although, once I was a little anxious, I called just to ensure the shipment was going out and the nice man told me that it had...

I'm past the 30 day mark for my DS from ACMG. About a week ago I got an "Order Update" email that said my script was being prepared and I will recieve a tracking number once it ships. That was a week ago and still NOTHING!I've emailed ACMG a few times but never a response other than the computer generated one.

I'm afraid this ship has sailed with a boatload of money!

When I called the pharmacy they did tell me that I needed to go through ACMG but I explained to them that I had been trying to get in touch with him for 2 weeks and could not get him. They finally agreed to fill. Not sure if I just got lucky or not. Hope this helps.

Peter,

I wish you would give me the info to contact Don. Right now I have $249.99 taken from my checking account and I need it returned. Once on 2/20/09 and again on 3/02/09. I never even had another consult through this company. Just once back in Nov. 2008 so when it came time for me to have another AC Medical Group just charged me because they had my card number. I have since cancelled my card. I have emailed AC Medical Group about this and someone named Don emailed me back once saying he was on the phone with my bank getting my money back. It wasn't true I am still missing almost $500.00. I would love a way to contact him to ask him to take care of this. I have my bank working on it right now but I don't know what the results will be.

NEED ADVICE:

I received a paper prescription. I live in California and the rx is from Florida. Where am I supposed to take this? I'm afraid. What if they say they can't fill it and keep it or rip it up? Can I get in trouble for turning in an out of state rx?

Thanks,
Heather

Holy Moly!

I had the same CC charge on my account. I had no idea it was from ACMG. It was ten dollars off, so it didn't even register. I got the same bogus email with a fake number saying I bought 1 RC. I immediately called my bank and had it removed and reported it as fraud. I called the number and it was some 17 year old girl who had been getting calls all day long from many different people with the same charge. What is PPWLLC supposed to mean anyway? I feel so ripped off. But anyway, I ended up getting a paper rx as I said in my previous entry. What am I supposed to do with it? What does everyone else do?

Everyone please read, I need to set things straight.

We are no longer accepting credit cards. We are COD-only and are working on every dispute we've had from our customers. We had a Physician that was not performing his duties and we were hurt financially by this, as well as false chargeback filed by customers who actually received their orders. It's great how you hear from the couple people whose orders were either not taken care of by the Dr or were double-dipping according to the Pharmacy. The others who are taken care of obviously don't need to come here and post, they're happy.

That being said, if there is anyone who needs assistance with an erroneous charge please email me immediately at admin@acmedicalgroup.com and I will address your issue for you. We are not in the business of hurting anyone, we've tried to serve our customers as best we can. Always. Any billing error that was made is just that, an error and not in any way intentional. I have addressed numerous issues and have refunded quite a bit of money.

For example: There is someone posting over on the reviews thread who was sent his script 2 different times and it was sent back (he did receive his first script without a hitch then moved. His refill script was sent once to his home (he didn't update his address) and once to the new address he gave me. That's $80 in shipping we had to eat. He fails to mention taht, only that we're scammers and thieves, blah blah.

If anyone needs help with a charge or billing issue, please email me. We're being made to look like crooks when we're far from it. Those emails you received with a "bogus number" was not a bogus number. It had been changed with the CC company but they hadn't updated it. If you have an issue, email me and then I would hope you'd report back the truth: that you were taken care of.

HeatherT, you received your order and then reported it as fraud. Your paper script is not only legal in California but will save you $150 vs. the Pharmacy route. All the pharmacy will do is call the Dr, who will then verify the prescription. You'll pay $40 instead of $190 for your prescription. Your dispute was met with documentation showing the fact that you received your order at your address.

That being said, anyone who has an issue is encouraged to email admin@acmedicalgroup.com and we will take care of it. I look forward to your correspondence. Thank you.

Don

You know we're not crooks M, I emailed you again today. We've served you without a hitch for years. Now we're crooks suddenly due to a billing error which I'm working on for you?

Again, if you have an issue, please email me and we will address it for you. Thanks.

I would just like to say that Don has come through on countless occasions and he has always been honest with me. It is a shame that current pending legislation has created such hostility with so many while also shortening a lot of people's fuses.

Don and his company has made every effort given the legal climate lately to serve his customers. Loyalty does pay off in the end.

Those who are quick to make rash decisions only hurt the industry as a whole which also unfortunately hurts the rest of us as well.

I've been around with Don for a long time and I have never had any problem whatsoever. His word is gold to me despite what many posts here have suggested.

Keep in mind there are always two sides to a story. Give the man a chance.

Ditto that.
Don and ACMG have always been there to help me out.
As stated, this is not the easiest time for this form of treatment, but despite that, Don has always responded, and done his best to provide great service for me.
I really hope ACMG will develop new service provision in light of the new regs, as I hope to remain a client!

Don has always been true to his word. After the scathing posts, he certainly did not have to come on here and respond. He did so because he does have integrity. People publicly gripe and hurl insults for a simple glitch, but when the error is corrected, those people do not come back on to apologize or praise the good service they have received.

I do know someone who as recently as a month ago was able to have it filled at a WalMart. However, she has been trying to get in touch with "Don" by email ever since with no success. She says that she has his cell number, but hasn't called, since there isn't currently a major issue. He may have closed up shop at this point.

Whoops! I'm sorry, but I realized as soon as I sent that last message that it was Costco, not WalMart. I hope I didn't get anyone rushing out to the wrong store in an attempt to get results that may not be available.

nascar- I just picked up my script yesterday and did not have any problems. I called first (a Walmart) and asked if they took out of state scripts for schedule II medication and they yes. I selected this place because they are close to a military base and very busy. When I dropped it off I started to give them the NPI# that Don sends out with the tracking email but they didn't need it. This was the first time I've received a script instead of meds so I was a little worried that I may have problems filling it but once I called the pharmacy and got a yes answer there was no reason to be nervous. So good luck.
Also for anyone waiting on their orders..there has been a couple of times when I had to wait to receive my order because of some glitch but Don has always come through. I don't think there is an OCS out there where waiting hasn't been an issue. I know it's tough when you're in pain and possible wds and I have gotten very po'd at times but actually calling someone a crook publicly just because their order is taking a long time to come through or a billing issue/error is not right. Just my two cents and I wish all the best after the RH Act goes into effect.

Could not agree more; Don and his team have always done the absolute best by me, and I totally understand the constraints ACMG must work within. My hope is that Don will continue with a F2F practice, so that we can continue to work with him after legislation takes effect.
Thanks again Don!
