You could probably write an email explaining that, and state that you want to schedule a consultation when you are eligible. I am unfamiliar with their CS, maybe some one who is can specify the best way to communicate with them.

You may have gotton yourself into a pickle. Have you heard from MEC? You stated you cancelled your refills with PPC-what if you don't hear from MEC? Atleast with PPC you had refills and they are very consistant. They may be pricey-but is this place much cheaper??

I would email MEC with a detailed email explaining your situation.
Michele at MEC is great, and I have had no problems with them in all the time I have been using them.
As long as you are fair and professional with them, they will be fair and professional with you.

However, they do things by the book. As long as you are on the up + up, you should be fine.

Oh my goodness!! I didn't think about that either!! Oh sheesh!! You may be right - in a pickle of very sour juices!! Well, all I can do is hope that MEC will read my "explaining" email and respond. The only real gripe with MEC - is I think Dr. AG is associated with so many places that it may burned one day. The other thing is it's re-consult. It's sort of nuts - like 84 days in between. It's not a huge thing but annoying anyway but over all it's good. Usually they get back to your e-mails later in the evening. They've gotten to big to pick up the phone (happens when places get popular).

Dales, I am curious, what is it about the 84 days in between consults that bothers you? You think it should be longer, or shorter? It seems to be about standard, some places are waiting 90 these days.

Just got my last fill without an issue from my local grocery store pharmacy. MEC even scheduled my reconsult on a sunday to accommodate me! Very impressed with the customer service thus far!

I am very impressed with MYEASYCONSULT also, they also accomadated my reconsult on a Sunday, they are very professional and freindly.

They are a great company that do everything with a smile on their faces and truly run one of the best DS;s out there.If you lookin for people who'll give you great CS (meaning I have never had to wait for a return e-mail or phone call returned to me within an hour-even on the weekends or after business hours). Some ROPS I used in the past made me feel I was lucky to have them. MEC feels lucky to a have you as a customer and treats you that way.

The bottom line is Michelle is sweet, their consults are inexpensive (you can use your own insurance to have your scripts filled- I recently started to go a PM doctor who gives me great therapy and told him that I use MEC to get my hydro scripts and he said "I'll take care of that from now on". I refused and he was even surpried that I mentioned the script I got from MEC but admired my honesty. He sometimes gives me IR OXY for breakthrough pain but I refuse other things I don't feel are necessary because I like the relationship I have with him and I like MEC TOO.

just got my script filled today and it went perfect! as allways, I have never even been questioned about my script from MEC, the phamacist is very polite and fills my scripts and tells me to have a great day!
lucky for me it says right on there front door of the pharm in big red letters WE FILL OUT OF STATE PRESCRIPTIONS!
anyway just wanted to thank the MEC crew for great service, by far the best ive used!

Has anyone heard from Myeasyconsult this week? I had a reconsult Sunday night and haven't heard anything. I wrote Michelle yesterday and no response. That is highly unusual for them. Usually I hear very quickly after a consult and if I write Michelle I always get a response. This is not like them at all so I am concerned,

MEC actually asks in their email to comment if you have any association with this site, so her goes...........

This was a re consultation for me. They asked me to fax a paper that was sent in the original order, just reviewing my information. After I did that, (in the morning) I was scheduled for a consultation. I asked for a rough estimate as to what time she would call, and they couldn't give me that. Michele said I was on the list and she couldn't even guess.Within 2 hours, the PA called. She was very thorough, and it was quite obvious she had my records right in front of her. She asked a lot of questions, and even suggested some other forms of treatment I could try. She gave me a couple names of therapists in my area and a site that I could search to find more. She said she would approve my medication.
The next day, in the evening, I received an email stating that the doctor had reviewed, and approved my medicine, and a tracking number. This company is very thorough, and definitely play by the Rules. I like this, it feels much more legit, and I am very comfortable with that.
FEDEX was at my door the next morning. It went very smooth.
So basically, got consult right away,
then the PA sends her notes to Dr for approval
Dr approved
MEC mails script.
Easy, as long as your records are approved.
I think this place is great for chronic pain sufferers, but not so great for anyone just looking for a quick fix.

I took my script to the local target, and it was filled without an issue. Target did have to call the Dr to verify.

I very much appreciated how thorough the PA was with my reconsult. She asked many questions regarding how my therapy has been the last few months, and other general questions. It's nice to see a company that is strict with records, and doesn't just hand a script to anyone. It makes me feel comfortable that MEC will hopefully be around for a while.

I began using MEC back in Feb. and this is to be my 3rd re-consult. Typically I have zero issue with them... but this time they are SSSSLLLLOOOOOOOWWWWWW.......

I've been emailing and calling them for a week now trying to get my reconsult scheduled and have been told that the daytime PA has been out sick for days with a sore throat and that the night time PA has supposedly been having trouble leaving me messages due to bad weather in their area ??
2 responses to my 10 emails .... pretty weak. The last 2 times they were on the ball, but this time, not so much. I'm so dissappointed. I'm wondering if I should look for another ROP since I've been out of meds and in pain!

Hmmm...

So apparently Dr. G is spread out. What I mean is that I have heard the same thing mentioned above. In fact very recently the word from CD was that Dr. G was no longer there and all medical records would have to be resubmitted no matter how old or new the records were so the new Doc could review. I suspect something but am honestly not certain how customers might be impacted.

I have no experience with MEC but with respect to CD they have always been pretty awesome in service and support. Hopefully I am off in left field. But it certainly seems as though folks who are due a re-consult with either place might be well served in being proactive in order to avoid any delays... Just my two cents.

Again I'm speaking from experience....this company is terrific. They were ready with re-consult right on time. My records were in order. The scripts were approved and sent immediately. The price went up ever so slightly but they gave me what I needed, and the customer service was second to none. This type of service with scripts filled at a local pharmacy is still less than half the price of previous OP's. Get your records straight, follow their instructions to a T, be polite with everyone you communicate with, and you will be satisfied. They are the best! Who needs to double dip when these guys are so timely?

OK wasnt sure at first, but MEC absolutey is the best Ive seen yet. I highly reccomend them. It was about as easy as it could be. Anyone out there looking for fast reliable service they are it.

Yep, these guys are the best. I have been using them for the better part of a year now, and they are as reliable as it gets. If your records are in order, this is the company to do business with.

I myself have never used them, but as far as the direct script goes, they seem to be the best and they do not have to advertise to get business. I think word of mouth is better advertising.
