First to MAX...there is some good info in a post from Scarecrowl (I think is his name) in this thread http://www.drugbuyers.com/freeboard/show...true#Post213518It seems to be some good advice from someone who has switched to the compounds and found the transition to be not quite what was expected. I had several people address the issue with me last week and all but one have since decided they are happy with them. This is of course a personal choice. I do not know if we have spoken but I hope we have and I certainly don't want anyone stuck with anything. I would really encourage you to check out the posts and the way the opinion seems to have turned after the adjustment. Astro..glad I could be of help. I called the pharm and you are all set. We don't post the compound prices since they vary slightly due to AWP. When the cost is lower, the price gets passed on to the patient. Sort of nice of the pharmacy we thought. Ordberger...NWW who??, ok, anyway, we do COD meds and on occasion we will COD a consult. It would have to be a separate, secured money order. Usually we do this for patients that have been with us for awhile, but if I have a copy of your license, pictures of all your children, a lock of fur from your favorite housepet and at least one tangible item of sentiment from your great great great uncle's estate, I can probably swing it for you...give me a ring at the office 800.355.0522 -K

In looking at this OP, I'm not clear how many refils are included in the consult.
Can anyone fill me in? I think I saw 2 somewhere back in this thread.
Thanks
don
Dipending on your condition(s), the refills can vary anywhere between 2 to 5.
2 is what normally everyone gets but if your condition warrants it, it can go up to 3, 4, or 5. It is very rare that you will get 5 though.

Time, I came over from MedsMadeSimple because they couldn't open any consult slots for me until well after my consult was due. I was happy with their service, but I expect to get my consult near when it is due. They say that they are having some "changes" in their medical staff. I don't know if that means that Karen is still with them or not.
As far as ERMeds, I requested the 10/325, even though I probably could have gotten the 15/80's. I just don't care for the compounded meds at higher doses. I am a small person and they tend to make me feel nauseated.
ERMeds prices for meds were a little higher than MMS, but at least they responded to my e-mails and phone calls, which MMS did not, even after four days. And I really liked Rhonda, I "clicked" with her just like I did with Karen at MMS.
As an update, I did receive my meds this morning, all accounted for, and packaged very nicely from AVEE Pharmacy. They used cotton to keep the rattling to a minimum. I was very pleased and I especially liked the online chat function available on the ERMeds website.

I really would like to try these 15/80 my poor liver needs a break. Does anyone know if their doctor will prescribe like 10 just to see if they work for them?
Trey
Hey! You just came up with a great idea, I don't know the legal possiblilities of it; but what if the doctor could write for oh, whatever count one is approved for, ex. #120, and make #20 15/80s, the rest whatever one is accustomed to? I am already pretty sure as I type this there is not a way to do it, but yeah, that would be one way...I guess another option would be to ask if one could have put from the initial consult this note in their chart; To fill first order with 15/80, refill with 10/325, or other way around, and just see which month's meds work more effectively...
Trey! Not bad! Not bad a'tall!!!

Kaykay,
Karen is still with us. We have also hired another physician, Dr. Robert Lieberman. This has helped balance the higher demand for our consultations.
