I'm sure it depends on where you live but many states will not accept faxed scripts for more than like 20 pills of a controlled substance and definitely no refills. I don't think they will accept calls either. My dentist once faxed in a script for 30 pills and the pharmacy rejected it due to the ammount. He had to re fax a lower quantity.

Thanks Stevo, and ITA. I think it's been 3 mos since my initial consult (sometime in early July)...You can see how this is really putting a hardship on me...Can't get any relief, can't get service. What to do? Get the police involved again? I did my best to tell the police it was a legitimate service and Wal-Mart was at fault...but now I have proof that's not the case. Garcia is at fault. That's the only thing I can think of at this point.

Good news on the pain front...I was able to find a DS service that gave me a VALID prescription, so now I don't need anything from 1CD except a REFUND please! I sure don't want to go to jail for 'double dipping'!!

I'm happy you were able to get the care you need. Your prescription was 100% valid the pharmacy just wouldn't fill it. All prescriptions are real and legit for any site that our doctor works for. I dont know what happened to yours when it was sent back to the Dr.'s office that is out of my control. I do not work in the Dr.'s office nor handle his mail. I sent the refund I know it's been a long time coming but like I said before I have been unavailable for the past 3-4 weeks do to very unfortunate circumstance. We have a fairly large customer base all of which have never had a problem like this and all recieve VALID prescriptions. I apologize that the one time it happened it happened to you. I hope the refund shows I did everything in my power to make this right. This is all I can do.

1consultdirect is now offering face to face consultations at our doctors clinic in Florida. This will be necessary when the bill we all dread passes. Our doctor has already started seeing patients at his clinic. The visit is $225 and includes a 90 day script with complete physical exam. The patient receives a full history and physical report that contains all the documentation requirements to continue to obtain consults on-line every 3 months as long as you continue to have yearly physicals with the doctor of your choice. This is a great alternative for everyone to continue to recieve the proper medical attention they deserve through our OCS. In the next few days I will have a copy of the bill plus any updates but for the time being this is where we stand and what the future holds. I feel it's safe to say we still have a bright future in telemedicine.

Hey Blufairy yes we are still open and in buisness. We are still processing consultations up untill the March 15th deadline as well as taking appointments for F2F consultations.

I was sent a pm from someone who was confused, they had thought ConsultsDirect was the same company as yours, since I am a patient of CD they asked me some questions, perhaps now they will post their question.

I'm happy to announce that we are now working with a Dr. in Texas that is doing face to face consultations in the San Antonio area. Our Dr. will also do phone consultations for the reconsults and do direct scripts as well as call ins. The face to face price is $295. Call ins will be $220 and direct scripts will be at our regular price of $170+$35 for shipping. Our Dr. is already accepting patients and we can schedule appointments immediately. This Dr. is also looking into setting up offices for the future in Houston and Austin to travel to on alternate weekends or atleast one weekend a month to help cover the larger cities of Texas if there is enough demand.

We plan on adding additional Dr.'s in the near future in other states to meet the demands of the Ryan Haight Act.

start to finish if i faxed my records today (monday)?
and do you take credit cards?

also, to save on faxing costs, is it ok to scan the
records and keep them in a jpg or pdf. file format and
email the records..
it costs alot of money to fax records to all these companies
who need copies of your records.

is it worth all the extra hoops to sign up with this site over any other? I'd like to get one last telemed consultation before having to go with the new F2F concept which seems to be so cost intense and inconvient. any information you can provide will be much appreciated.

We are in the process of linking up with a network of Dr.'s throughout the US to refer all of our current patients to as well as any new ones interested in signing up. All of these Dr.'s will conduct in person physical exams and follow up phone consultations.
