No offense towards anyone in particular. This is one of many threads I have read in the last year where people have refills and aren't allowed to have them for one reason or the other. I don't use a Rop, I am not in that much pain, but it saddens me each and every time I read one of these threads. I can only shake my head and ask why?
I think this thread here would be a perfect explanation why some people use Iops and Nrops. The Nrops may be expensive and may be "street prices" (and no I don't condone them) but I certainlly empathize with each person who must follow that route.
I am sure the closing of this Rop will find a few more customers for the Nrops.
It's sad, it's a shame, and I couldn't personally live with myself knowing so many people were going to be in pain because of a decision I made. They chose to build this Rop, they chose to give you all consults and refills, at the very least, each and every refill should be given. How many mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers and grandparents are going to be in tremendous pain because of this decision. Where is the compassion?
I hope you all find the compassionate doctors you need. I wish you all the best of luck. I apologize for others like myself who don't understand chronic pain. I pray that someday all people will empathize with each and every one of you. What is wrong with our country? What is wrong with people? Why is it always about the almighty dollar? Words can't express how sad I feel for all of you going through this.

As a help to Steveo I'll jump in. I wouldn't normally do this, but he is right, and although I can only vouch for one OCS he took down, I read posts from many OCS' and they weren't the only ones. In particular, I'm talking about Countymeds and their doctor/pharmacy. When I confronted Ben and told him that's why I was mad at him (I was with County and they were the gold standard), he said that if they'd pay their bills on time he wouldn't have taken their pharmacy. I personally believe he offered the pharmacy more, as he has mentioned on occasion that he goes in and offers more to get new pharmacies. So, there's one OCS and pharmacy for you, directly from the mouth of someone who had it happen to. You can find this conversation somewhere in one of the Countymed threads, as I don't remember which one we had the conversation in...... Thanks Lynx4....I knew someone would come out with some Info!...Now can I get an Affidavit on that!...LOL Stevo

I am one of those people who just had a consult and had two refills, and am going to lose one. And yes, it does stink. I wish I would have been warned when I first consulted, I wouldn't feel so bad right now. The reason I think that both refills should be covered, is that we paid so much for the consultation, it should cover the two refills that are supposed to be received. Its only fair. So in a way, losing one of those refills does feel like getting ripped off. Also, my discount was never put on the consultation and first fill of meds. Ben stated that he was sorry and will put it on my next refill. I hope that still happens, because the discount was the only thing that made it affordable. I am kind of worried about that too, because holding my refill until the discount is put on, might put me past the 30 day mark, and who knows what will happen then. Oh, and I am really looking forward to spending the time trying to figure out another reliable OCS. Thats going to be a lot of fun, when I just got done doing it again last week and had found UWM.

I was one who got the wrong meds on Friday in an untampered with package (I did check carefully and trust the driver). I did pay for those meds and was supposed to receive a replacement on Monday. I'm hoping maybe today? I at least want to get those meds since I did pay for them but really don't expect the refills even tho this was a reconsult for me and my next refill is within the 30 day window. Will see what happens next...

Angel24, The price difference between a consulted order and a refill order is $15. If I send you a check for $15, will you stop whining about being "ripped off"? I just don't understand how people can claim to be "ripped off" when it's only $15. Just take the $350 or so you were going to spend on your next refill with UWM and spend it on a consult somewhere else. As much as people have complained about UWM's pricing, I would think you would SAVE money by doing this! It's fine to be sad and voice your sadness about losing a valued OCS, but DON'T claim that he is stealing money from you... it just doesn't add up.

I have posted in the other threads about refills.
Yes, the pharmacy is now shipping watsons.
County Meds and Advanced Pain were using the same pharmacy, I called them, they started to fill for me. They liked I paid on time, my doctors were available to answer questions, and I was hassel free, and my scripts were clean and easy to ready, (I didn't give the pharmacy # out, I didn't give tracking #'s out early, and I didn't refer people to the pharmacy for any information [tracking information, etc] etc).
County Meds routinely had problems that aggrivated the pharmacy. The pharmacy had to HOLD scripts to get County Meds to pay. They eventually paid, and were cut off.
Advanced Pain still owes the pharmacy money and they've been sent to collections.
So if you call stealing a pharmacy, buy just doing a better job, then yea, I stole it along with countless others. When you have 1 client that is better than all your others and 200% less hassel and pays on time, why would you futz with clowns that don't know what they are doing.
OH, and County Meds doctor didn't decide to stop telemedicine all of a sudden. It is the shody business practices of slow pay. Joe has hired their old doctor, BTW County meds, Pay your doctor!
