Hello and welcome to the board NNCIP!! I have a couple of quick questions... 1. I was wondering, for future reference, where is your Georgia doctor located? 2. If I did go with your service, would I have to drive to Georgia to get my script filled every month or would I be able to have it filled here in Alabama? Again, welcome to the board and thank you for providing a much needed service to Chronic pain sufferers. to Hello - Our Georgia doctor is in the Atlanta metro area but is still in the process of coordinating her current practice to accomodate appointments. I am not sure what exactly this intails... As for going to Georgia from Alabama, the ideal situation is to wait until we do have a doctor in Alabama unless it is more convenient for you. Because the prescriptions will be written by a doctor who practices in Georgia, it may be conflicting for you to have the medication filled in Alabama each month. Again, I do not know the details here, I am just trying to play our the best case scenario. Thanks, NNCIP Support

I have a question too. Since this is a Face to Face visit, then why the need for records? I understand that chronic needs to be proven, but is it at all possible for one of these Dr's to become my PCP, since I no longer have one? Maybe the Dr. could be seen initially, then 3 months or so down the road seen again, then scripted medication after the second visit?
Food for thought.
First off, please accept our apologies for not attending to such an important question. It actually falls into the category of "things we don't know yet" but we will find out. I believe that at some point a patient has to be evaluated and be diagnosed with a chronic pain condition. I would assume that the appointment would have to be much more thorough and the normal process may be that the doctor may try multiple disciplines of pain therapy before being able to diagnose your condition as chronic. I am not an expert so maybe some of our other patients can elaborate... Thanks, NNCIP Support Great answer, thank you. I was interested since I am in AZ and I see your office is right up the road in North Phoenix off of Happy Valley. I just don't have records newer than one year old so I will wait and see. Thanks again

Thanks again Cuephoria, Yes, our headquarters are located in North Phoenix. However the doctor who is currently accepting consultations is located in Tucson. We have a doctor in Scottsdale, however he is still in the processing stage, and not yet ready to start consultations. If you would like to see our Tucson doctor we would be more than happy to help set you up with an account and get you scheduled for an appointment. Click here to go to our registration page!

Wow, This sounds like a bona fide plan that could be long lasting and meet all the new challenges LE keeps using. I hope a doc is found for my state as well. I think even thoguhg you see a doc the first time, your records are still needed to document the condition and it is a chronic condition already diagnosed and with a history. That could be expensive for this new company to have to become like your pcp completely the first visit and start with why are you here? They would have to do xrays, lab, prior history and yada, yada. I think the way they aredoing it all that is done and in your medical records which also show it is chronic (has been there a long time) then they can go from there alot cheaper for us and less time for everyone. They can simplyif they wanted or will, who knows yet, continue with lab work, physical, follow up every 3 months to document improving or not, physical, labs within normal limits and etc.
They got something good going in my opionion and hope it works or everyone who has been suffering and fighting this last year or so with horrible outcomes for most. I am still doing alright but my anxiety level has gone through the roof this last year. MY doc is helping with strong meds for all these stones as they move or get stuck, but I have had enough radiation to run a city on by now. I will probably get cancer or something radation related that ends all the pain for me one day.

- Lancaster is far for me - north of Dallas. ANy plans for another doc in dallas? I think it would be strange to take a script to my pharmacy from a doc so far away. Joebend, We are hoping that eventully we will have many doctors in each area, and we are working to attain that goal. But as of right now we do not have any more prospective doctors in Dallas or the Dallas area. I honestly dont know the pharmacy restrictions and laws in Dallas, so Im not really qualified to make an assesment in what the pharmacies feel about out-of-town scripts. I hope I was able to help. Thank you, NNCIP Support
