i am not on here much but usually at refill time to check to see whats up..

here is the deal. i havent read all of the posts here so sorry if i repost about the same thing.

i was a client of 1st for 3 months, when it came time to reconsult i was informed that they "no longer shipped to IN" so i switched to another company. they also did not inform me in time to refill without running out which is an amazing pain the a#@ as you may know with certain medications. so into my last refill with the new place which has been amazing, i get this email saying ive been blacklisted for using multiple places. what? no! turns out that 1st sent a prescription to the pharmacy in november for me, i never reconsulted and had told them i would no longer be using their services.

Got that cleared up recieved my meds but a bit delayed due to 1st priority screwing things up for me. then later in December i get this email from them stating that they NOW ship to my state and want me back. so if figure great! they were excellent in price and customer service and all so i signed right up making sure thru Krystal to state that i was NOT due for a refill or reconsult as of yet because of the new place i was using. she still scheduled a reconsult. AGAIN, i was blacklisted and then she sends me an email telling me to call the pharmacy and clear it up! WHAT?

yes, i talked to someone of very very reliable source who said the states that were told or at least mine "indiana" was never on any no ship list. that 1st was just without a pharmacy at the time. so they lied, then they illegally sent a rx to the pharmacy in november that i did NOT request or even qualify for therefore making me look like a DD. Im pissed. i was told that pharmacy was ticked at them and had told them so and that i should stay with my new place, which i am! it took a week to clear this up and i have been without my meds for over a week due to the holidays and all but mainly because 1st Priorty was being deceitful and lied. I would NEVER suggest them to anyone at this point. How can this happen? Just goes to show how some places truly care. at least where i go now, i can call and talk to them, instead of invisible krystal, THANKS KRYSTAL for making my holidays suck!!!!!! sorry to all that have had good service, i did too for 3 months then BAM! Good luck to all...

I have read some of the other posts here, but, I am now due my final refill and this time, I didnt receive the automated refill request reminder I normally get from them. I put in for the refill through the site, but havent heard anything either (which is unusual, as for me, this last go round they have been very fast on service).

Is something up? I know the holidays might be messing it up, but I was wondering if something happened with their pharm? Has anyone else experienced this?

I want to get this last refill and then I am done with OCSs for a while. (kind of a new years resolution) While its great to finally get relief that my regular doc wont prescribe, this is a bigger pain than what I am using it for.

Happy New Year! Waited 7-8 days from refill request to receipt of meds. 1st differs so much from day to day and week to week. Some receive their meds the day after request and others wait days, sometime weeks. I have nothing but good things to say about the owner (David), however, Krystal should not be in the healthcare business. Just doesn't put in the extra that pain patients need and deserve. Well, guys and dolls, I wish us all peace and a safe new year. You all have been so helpful and supportive. God bless each of you!

So far I've had a positive experience with 1stPriority.

Faxed records: 12/27
Called for consult: 12/28 (I was not home)
Called for consult: 12/31

The Doctor or PA? (she didn't specify) was very helpful and friendly. Didn't ask many questions at all.

Much better service so far than with my previous OCS who is now gone.
Hope it doesn't take long to get my meds....

I was worried that the holidays might cause some delays.

So I wrote Krystal asking,(nicely), if there were going to be delays. The next day I happened to receive my refill request email. That same day I received a note from Krystal informing me there were no delays.

I got a tracking number from DB and FedEx the next evening, which would be tonight, telling me I would be receiving my order tomorrow.

No problems here

Friend had reconsult early yesterday - still says "pending physician authorization" - she talked to Adam today - he had sometimes the doctor has to fax the scripts and one doctor ships them overnight... Krystal has been NO help to her...

I've been in pharmacy processing for two days and it is too late today for anything to happen. Maybe they will go out Monday. This is getting old, not just with this company but with the whole industry. The cost, the delays, the record requirements that change constantly, and with each company. I've got to find another way of handling my pain.

I am so CONFUSED...I have been DECLINED, that is what my account has on it.

I have been with 1st Priority for over a year. I had a reconsult last Wed,(1-2-2008). My last refill was the first of Dec. 2007. I have been waiting for about 6 days for the meds. The same meds, I have been getting for over a year.

I have Up to Date Records. I spoke with the doc and ask me normal questions. She said,no problem, she would send script to pharmacy. I waited for 2 days before inquiring about my medicine and the status. I know they are playing catch up from the holidays so I was trying to be understand.I emailed Krystal twice. Once time...to tell her to please had my meds shipped Priority Overnight, she said no problem, noted my account. My account had pending physician authorization...for a while.

The second time, she said that she would call the pharmacy and find out the hold up. I never got a response from her today. I spoke to Adam this morning and he said the doctor was sending the prescription over to pharmacy. Neither one of them indicated that they was a problem. I never got the impressions that there was a problem.......
not a word.

Could any one help me out and let me know if they have had this happen to them or how to handle it. I went ahead and email Krystal after I looked at my account. How could my consult get this far, then decline. I have always been with 1st Priority..no other. I am so upset...i hope it is a mistake. I will let you know what happens.

Wish me luck....dee

nick4me,
I used this company over a year ago and the same thing happened to me. After about a 10 day wait and thinking things were fine except for them being very slow I was suddenly declined with no reason or explanation. I had been a good customer for quite a while....never a problem on my end. They were not even kind enough to give me a reason (there couldn't have been a reason as I don't double dip or break any Rules). Who knows why they do this. I am sure we are not the only ones this happened to.
I am sorry for you as it really puts you in a bind to start over with another company but you may as well move on.
Sincerely, gusty

It sounds like you've contacted *ALL* of the correct people and asked all the right questions you would have needed to. I don't think any of us could offer any other help unless someone has had the same experience AND had a solution or could tell you what they were told. I would say send a PM to David Kaplin (manager/owner) I would guess of the site, but he hasn't been on here in months. From what I hear and have read with all the busts and shake downs, this company hasn't been name in any of those, so I think they're doing okay.

I consulted (my first time with these guys) on 12/31. Received my tracking # today. I am very happy with their customer service so far. My last experience was with an OCS who is now closed and their CS was the worst! After a 3 month wait with no meds, they suddenly closed their doors. Compared to them, these guys are stellar.

I just got an email telling me they are out of meds and it will be 2-3 wks before they can send my order, or I can have another consult and get a direct script- with another charge. Has anyone else heard this?

Yes i got an email this morning, i elected to do the direct script but i'm still trying to find out if people who are from Louisiana have had any luck with this. I posted the question in the Open discussion forum and still haven't gotten a response. Can someone either response or send a pm if they have any info on this matter.

yep - same email... David needs to come on here and give an update - it's been months since he's been on here.

Personally - I doubt it'll be 2-3 weeks - that's what I'm hoping...

Sorry for the delay, I had to go to the Emerg Room, Tuesday night because of a severe migraine. I couldnt get it to go away. I dont know if it was the stress of this matter or something else, a lot of things can trigger one. I was just very upset. I had to get a shot to get it to go away. It cost me alot of money that I didn't have.

By the way it isn't a STATE problem, thanks for asking.

Anyway, I finally got an answer from Krystal. She said that they need more records, why now? I could take it a little better if she would have told me this before i talked to the doctor. The doctor never ask for additional records when she was on the phone. It was very short and to the point. She said it would be going out asap. I thought they reviewed the records before getting the consult. It is just bizarre to me. I have been email her about the delivery since last week and she NEVER acting like my records were incomplete or lacking more information. I have been with them a long time and my records were good every time before now.I have been a A+ customer, I have been very understanding when issues came up and had to wait 2 weeks.

I am trying to get my other records from my neurologist to send in to them. I don't know if the Emergency Room visit would be consider as record they would accept. I had a Cat Scan last Oct when I had to go to the ER for the same thing. I just have to get the records asap.

I just read that they are out of Meds or Direct script. I guess I need to go somewhere else. Any suggestions? Sorry for the long post, I am just upset with 1st Priority.

Krystal emailed me this am and stated the pharmcay was behind 2-3 weeks. They said they could sent me a direct rx for 215$ plus cod etc. Can they sent a script from another state that my state OH will fill? I have never heard of this, plus I had been waiting on a consult I never got. I did sent my records in and as far as I could tell they were approved but I never spoke to a PA or a MD. Please Please tell me if this can be done. I dont mind spending 215$ to get out of this pain but they did not indicate the med, the amt etc. I need some advice so please post asap if you can and you have used 1st priority thanks anne

Yes we are all having the same problem. It seems every year around this time problems start. They probably have to go through reviews and paperwork in order to stay up and running. Sometimes it pays to be patient if you can. I was wondering what state does Chriseffect live in? Good luck everyone, I personally do not have any experience with getting a script in the mail. Hopefully, things will start back up again.

It was never a state issue for me but I don't use them anymore and haven't for a long time. It is ridiculous to pay them for a consult and get nothing and then for them to turn around and ask for another $215 for another consult for a direct script. Why can't they use the consult that they never acted on to give you the direct script. I guess that is a stupid question on my part as they will not give an answer and if they do it will not be helpfull. I know a lot of the OCS's have problems from time to time but my experience with 1stPriority and what I read about them puts them very near the bottom of the "good" list.
