Arizona, I used MEC with excellent results. I sent a print out from my pharmacy that showed that I was usually Rx'd 5/500's. I told them that they were not all that effective and I usually had to take two. I asked if I could get the 10/325's instead so I could just take one pill and not have so much apap. They ok'd it and I got 10/325's that work so much better. HTH.

how do you send an email with confirmation of cancellation? I can't even get my current OCS to respond to my email.

Do you have to pay ahead of time? What I gather from the registration page is that I would have to do so.

Also, where is the fax cover sheet located? I do not see it on the home page.

MEC is awesome and I'm already planning to use them again when my refills run out. I'm even turning my mom on to them. Her Dr retired and she's too set in her ways to go find another!

I am considering changing to this method because the ROP's are just ridiculous. I finally finished up my refills the one I have used for years because it takes months to get a refill done. It has gotten insane!

Anyway, hoping some of the current MEC customers could help me out. If you don't want to answer on the board, could you PM me?

Are there a lot of problems with out of state scripts? I'm in TX. I don't want to pay for the script and then take it to a Walgreens and have it denied. In the instance of the pharmacy calling the doc to verify - has anyone had problems with the pharmacy getting in touch with the doc right away? In other words, is the doc available right then if the pharm calls him/her?

This really looks like a positive place and after reading this board for a about a month, I think I am going to make the switch. I just am trying to make sure I don't get the script in hand and then have it denied by the local pharm.

Thanks to anyone who can offer feedback!

Simple, just ask ur pharmacist if they accept out of state scrips (from Florida). This is a VERY good, awesome OCS! You won't b disappointed.

I had my reconsult Friday, and have a tracking number for delivery tomorrow. So far so good. I think Michelle is great. She treats her customers EXACTLY how they should be treated. This is my 2nd time around with them. No problems!

How do you know when it is time to recomsult? Do they email you?

I am thinking on reusing, as nothing has came through for me yet. I was a MPC patient, and am looking at other options, but may or may not try this one again, as I had no problems the 1st time. I am just trying the most affordale options, but as I recall, they didn't give me as many meds as I am use to getting.

80 days so there's no lapse in your treatment.

Oh, I almost forgot another question. They email you when it's time for a new consult.

Good morning guys,

I've been using MEC for a while now. They are awesome! Michele is great and communicates all along the way. I've been getting my fills at Walgreen's but during my last fill, the pharm tech asked me, "What website do you use?" I thought at first that I didn't hear him correctly, so I obviously said, "what?" to which he replied, "I don't care, I was just curious what website you use to get your script?" His tone changed to being friendly and began telling me that he had been using telemeds for the past year for himself and that Walgreen's has a policy to deny all scripts written from all of the doctors that are on the "black list". He tells me that Walgreen's has a list of known telemed doc's and that my doc wasn't on the list...yet. He tells me that it's only a matter of time before my doc is put on the list and that I should think about finding another pharmacy to get my fills??? I thanked him for the heads up, he filled my script, and I left.

Now I'm concerned whether or not to go back. I've been getting my MEC scripts filled there for half a year now. I could go to another national chain or to a smaller corner pharm but now I'm concerned that others might have the same philosophy. I guess, since this tech had such a friendly attitude and was using telemed's as well that I could just call him and ask if the coast is clear. Does anyone else have any experience with other national chains? If they do deny the script, do they take it from you and not give it back or will they just deny the fill? The tech gave me his name so I'll give him a call and let you all know what I find out.

Oh, and by the way, I've posted this over in the VIP section so if any of you are not comfortable posting their pharmacy names over here on the public side, please reply over there or PM me. I'm a long time VIP member but I don't post much.

Made the call. The coast is clear at WG's.

Once again, I'm a very satisfied customer!!!! These guys really are the way to go. Not only that, but insurance, for those of you who have it, will cover the fill!

Good luck to you all!

I had my consult Wed and got an email yesterday stating that I would receive an email today with a tracking number for delivery on Monday. I did NOT get an email today. However, I was able to track with their reference number and it says data transmitted, bot nothing about package being pick up. Anyone else have/had this problem? They have always being an A+ company, so I am be no means complaining - just checking.

I had some unforseen incidents go down and was unable to collect my script or give MEC their money order. If the scripts are still good I would like to make things right. Hopefully I will hear from them soon.

Sorry again guys!

I bet if you call Michelle she will do what ever she can...I just wanted to update everyone. Even though my rx did not go out on Friday, I got an email from them on Sunday night saying there was a delay and they were sorry and that it would go out today. I must say I was impressed that they emailed me on a Sunday night.

They do service NC (as of 2-12-08). I am in NC and I had a great experience with them. This state is so backwards and screwed up that I am afraid it is only a matter of time before they stop direct scripts as well. But for now I would say go for it. I used a small pharmacy that I had used once or twice in the past. The pharmacy tech told me that they are a more skeptical if they have never seen you. Since I had been there before I had no problem getting my RX filled. It is a good idea to call first.

MEP is a great site. Their customer service is excellent. Direct scrip is definitely the way to go, the savings math mentioned in an earlier post is right on. Michelle indeed is on the case and super friendly to boot. Check with your local pharmacy to see of they will accept an out-of-state prescription before scheduling your consult. It's easier than you think. Just remember never to volunteer any information to the pharmacy and you'll be fine, depending on your state. I'm a convinced customer.

These guys are awesome. Michelle is a delight to deal with their doc was compassionate and asked me only relevant questions. I faxed my records on Monday afternoon, had consult Monday evening and will have my script overnighted to me tomorrow.

I high recommend this ROP!

I agree, these guys are awesome. Good service, compassionate doc. Received my prescription on schedule, took it to Walgreens, and they filled it with no problem. I love this!
Tonight I am painfree and content.

I had quite a negative experience with this company. I have extensive records and a full bloodwork report. They denied me service because I had tried Buephonehrine for pain. My records state that I do not have a drug problem, over and over again. I have tried many long lasting meds and my doctor suggested Subutex. It worked well, but was too much of a hassle and the Sub doc was not very ethical so I went to another long acting medication. To be denied service for having tried a drug seems to me as pre-labeling me a druggie. Is there the same stigma with methadone? I guess it is back to another PM doctor. Hopefully they will not look at my records with the same misconceptions. I guess the lesson is not to be too honest with your records. What a crazy world those in pain live in!

Woah, I can't believe they did that! I know stuff is changing over there. Don't think I'll be able to use them again. They want a letter from the Dr. But that's ok! They were good to me and I'm shocked you were rejected tjt!

Well, let me respond to Bruce from Myeasyconsults on this thread, since he replied on a thread then closed it. Suboxone is prescribed off-label for pain. You would think doctors would know that, especially those dealing with pain patients. The fact that my records said, "no drug use problems" over and over again would be a clue. Also the fact that I was prescribed opiates after this by a PM doctor who had these same records would be another clue. Please don't come on here Bruce and suggest I may have a drug problem. I think you have an uninformed doctor.
