temple, and some of the other people who don't like sending WU's...
sending a WU in person is a)not that expensive and b) could not be simpler and is not risky. It is much less risky than sending online.
For instance Todo takes credit cards but charges $10 shipping; PharmacityUSA has the exact same price on, say, 60 x 2 mg Gador alplax, but no shipping charge. Western union charges are cheaper when done in person, too, in fact for me it was almost exactly $10.00
So for me it was just as expensive as Todo; hopefully their service will be just as good. They seem less swamped with orders (this is pure conjecture based on how quickly they reply to e-mails and how low my order number is... IME IOPs just sequentially number their orders instead of generating and maintaining a log of random numbers. This lets you (I think) see how many orders they're pumping out a day. This information is often somewhat incredible, and you can see why they take a while to e-mail back. They must have people answering the e-mail 24/7 at one of the more respected IOPs that still send quickly and answer e-mails in a day or two).
As for WU, at least in my big city, I live 5 blocks down the road from a check-cashing store where I'm sure my wire transfer is probably one of the less sketchy transactions they make their every day. They never ask questions, never ask for ID, and since you're paying cash, they don't really what info you write down about yourself. (Neither does this IOP, but you need to remember at least what name and city you used b/c they need that and the MTCN to get the transfer).
As for e-Gold I assume that this is some sort of paypal style middle-man service for internet businesses. Having never used them, I couldn't tell you how much they cost and if it is a fixed fee or a % of the money sent. It could well be slightly cheaper than WU (which costs about $10).
For me personally, sending it WU is no big deal and you can use cash and have there be no paper trail... not that I think that a paper trail would somehow lead to any trouble but, you know, just b/c you're paranoid don't mean they're not after you.
Anyhow, I'll let you know how this order goes.
If it is all a scam then they definitely put a lot of effort into establishing a website and answering customers' questions they were gunna rip off. Certainly possible, but seems like a lot of expense just to get black-listed here over a couple months (he rationalized to himself).
There have been a few reports on here that this place has delivered and I am having a good experience so far, but I'm not counting chickens til they hatch. Most of the posts here have been light on details and have been by people who don't post a lot (but then again I don't post alot, FWIW).
Anyways, if this does indeed end with me taking a victory lap I'll come back let y'all know. If it works out as well as they claim I'm sure people here would be interested; they would be a nice backup for people who mainly use Todo.
