If you notice any board errors... or if things are not working as they should...
Please post the details here and we will do our best to fix it.

We are aware that an error message displays when reading a PM and then clicking on the senders username and picking the option to see user posts...

Thank you for your support

If some of the threads do not have File Manager available, and the image hosting site is censored, is there any way to post a picture? I just wanted to post a pic of clorazepate yesterday but couldn't do it.

Thanks.

For speed and so we do not have all kinds of off topic images in all threads... we only allow image attachments in some forums where they are needed like the pill identification forum, introductions, off topic...

In what forum are you trying?

Yes. That is one of the forums where we do not allow attachments. It is not a problem. It is just the way the forum is set. Is there a need for attachments there?

Would it make sense in this case to start a thread in the pill identification forum to discuss how a pill should look?

Probably not worth the trouble putting attachments in that thread - it was just a kind of one-off. Difficult to know when one might need a pic. If the subject crops up again, I could post the pic in the Pill ID and link to it.

is there any chance we could have a little more than 1/2 hour to edit a post? it usually takes me longer than that to realize I've said something stupid....

like just now - made it back under the wire this time. could we have like 1 hour to change post and leave it at 1/2 hour to delete? would that possible with the way your website is set up?

unrelated - how can I use the search function to look for a member's posts? it always goes back and tells me to put something in the subject line.

I have been away for a while. Could not remember my password but did have my user name. I got a temporary password and in my profile changed to a new P.W. I wanted to submit a question to administration but first it came back could not find PW, now says invalide PW. Was going to reregister but thought that would confuse things as it would show this person already exists and is registered and cause me more problems. Had been a VIP member for a few yrs. so I should be in records, depending how long they are kept.Sorry to go on so long and hope I posted in right section. Thank you for any help. Magtube1

Odd issue when logging on.

I always have to type in my username and password twice--I never am able to log in the first time.

I'll add that I'm using Firefox and Vista x64.

JL, are you logged into EPW?

DB was also buggered until I logged out and logged back in, but that still won't work with EPW.

If any of you can explain the problem in detail we will be able to fix it faster. "buggered", "empty", "here and there", and "on/off" are not easy to understand :-)

What is the problem, is the problem on drugbuyers.com or on epharmacywatch.com, and when does it happen?

I am almost always logged into DB. Very rarely do I ever use E-PharmWatch (Big Blue). This site (DB) runs very well. I have had no problems today. In the past I have only experienced a slow down in communications, but this has happened on very few occasions. I feel that when it does happen it is usually due to issues with my ISP not problems on the DB system/server. Sometimes if there are many DB (logged in) users the site slows down, but it is not too bad.

Looks like, we hope, the problem is at epharmacywatch and for those going back and forth between DB and EPW only...

This looks like the proper thread to post my comment.

I have come here before surfing by proxy service. This gives me a whole different IP, masks my browser, you name it.

I used to be able to come here on a proxy with no trouble. Now I can't even hardly log in.

I had plans to set up my whole system with Privoxy and surf with Tor or Jap. But I'm having second thoughts now about doing that with my whole entire network. What would be your policy toward something like that?! \:\)

BTW I am changing my IP to a new static IP adress. I don't know if i might have missed this topic elsewhere on the board. If so, I apologize.

I do change my IP from time to time. (like, year-to-year)

Thanks-

I have been unable to renew my subscription to the VIP side for 3 months. I've tried and tried, but SegPay declines my card (which works everywhere else). I've contacted SegPay and they don't acknowledge anything is wrong at their end and told me to contact the Administration here instead. I've tried emailing 911@drugbuyers.com and also PM'ed the Administrator twice. No responses to email and the Administrator has never read either of my messages. I contacted my credit card company and they say they see no record of any attempted transactions from SegPay, so it must be getting blocked at SegPay's end. Again, I've been trying to resolve this issue now for 3 months. I have never had so much trouble getting someone to take my money before! I'm feeling kind of left out in the cold here.

Not a problem, just a question. I'm looking forward to those pretty red and green background colors we used last year for Christmas.
Any chance that will return. Most liked it and it did pick up interest.

Hello, admin. I have a problem with my private message folder. basically, what happened, was that guy that was banned, "bhs" i think his name was, he sent me a PM *that i didn't want at all cause he was annoying me and the rest of the members, thus why you guys banned him*, and i guess got banned right after. now, i got the regular email sent saying i got a new message, with the body of the message quoted. all normal. but, when i went to this site to check out the PM itself, it wasn't there. now, here's where the problem lays...

now, you know at the top of the page where it says 'My Stuff', and when you have a new PM, it flashes that swooshing mailbox logo?? well, because i had that PM that either disappeared, but is still marked unread, or it's invisible and its marked unread. regardless, that message isn't in my PM mailbox, and there's no unread messages, and yet that stupid mailbox infinitely continues to blink, everytime i'm on here. someone told me maybe i just had to receive a new PM, and it would go away. well i have, and that's not the case. it never goes away. so, Admin, my question to you is: can you fix it?? heh. it's really, really annoying. thanks for taking the time reading this, and i really hope you can help me. Hope to hear back from you soon...

Wondering if anyone else is unable to log out by the usual method (clicking Log out).

Usually when I click "Log Out", the main screen re-appears and I am no longer logged on.

Lately (over the past few days), the screen re-appears and I am still logged on ("Welcome JackofHearts"). Retry it three, four times and still re-appears as logged in.

Only after I close my browser and clear cookies/cache am I truly "logged out."

Hope this makes sense. Nothing critical.

YES, someone else has had this problem - I thought it was just the computer I was using. Good to know it wasn't.

ADMIN - Is this issue being addressed? Certainly not an emergency. Actually it feels like my job adding another item to the "to-do" list.

Thanks!

Dear Admin.,

If I could* send in a help ticket, I would.
It is NOT accepting my username/email addy/passy.. and I've attemped all of them I've ever used.. and had written down.

It Was SEGPAY who told me to write to YOU at 911@DB, to get help because he problem is on this end, not theirs.

I did try the 911@db..but was promted to the help ticket.

WEllll... I cant get the Help ticket to recognize me at all!

I am a recurring VIP member and just the other day was charged for another 90 days,.. all went through fine on the CC according to Segpay.
HOW can I get this resolved, if I cannot even get past the HELP TICKET *gate*????

Please email me at the email addy beginning with (s).I would appreciate it much, seeing how it is payed for, and I cant use it.

To submit a help ticket you do not have to register, you just submit a ticket without registering...

Just submit a ticket at http://www.drugbuyers.com/help and we will let get you in...

This was resolved
The problem was the VIP was entering the wrong username or password... :-)

I think that has to do more with your PC, browser, and password management settings... than with our board...

You have to click on "Logout"
Going somewhere else, or closing the browser windoew, does not log you out

Got to your "My Stuff" control panel and then edit your preferences to pick the default stylesheet

Some of the older stylesheets do not work well with all browsers

The Sandysky stylesheet is giving us a hard time...

What stylesheet gave you trouble?

Thank you for your feedback

Hi Admin:

Just an FYI. I LOVE the fact that you are allowing the "quick reply". I miss the "Active topic last 24 hour choice." Otherwise looks the same.

Umm, I still have that option, I just have to click on "Active Topics" and when it pops up, at the top is where you now click on last 24 hours, last 48 hours, last seven days. Or did I misunderstand your question? Sorry, if I did!

Help...I had to set up new account using a different e-mail and username because the system wouldn't let me log in to my regular account. Kept coming back to "You are not logged in". And of course you can't post a problem if you are not logged in. Hence the imposter of myself. Can this be fixed so I can access my real account?

no more VIP for now... in fact the boards are supposed to merge eventually, that side is going away.

I seem to be stuck in mobile phone view - everything is scrunched up on one side when viewing a post. Anyone know if this is an error or a software upgrade, or how to get out of phone view?

odd that you say that... i was logged in on my mobile earlier and was having a lot of trouble... had to click on posts 7 or 8 times before i could view a thread. and the preview would occupy the whole screen and would get stuck so a lot of the time after a click i could not see the thread i was trying to get to because it was stuck and occupying the entire screen. not as mobile phone friendly than before.

i know you are talking about being on your computer and stuck in mobile view, but this reminded me of what was happening earlier.

You need to change your stylesheet... use the default...
It will take us a while to make all stylesheets work properly

I had this same problem. I was using Internet Explorer and it would not log on, no matter how many times I tried. It never said there was an error, or that any info was incorrect; it simply went back to the forum page and said "You are Not Logged In."

Is this an Internet Explorer thing? Because I used Firefox and it logged in fine. (I'm on Firefox right now, obviously).

PS: I also created another profile before I thought to try another browser. I won't need that other profile now.

I am not sure what the problem is with the stylesheets
Hard to get one that works well with the new software and all browsers

I have had a lot of problems with the latest version of explorer on this board and in many other sites. Looks like things work in a different manner with the new MS browser than with other browsers.

Give as a bit of time and we will have something that works for most visitors... :-) but for the time being please make sure you are using our default stylesheet... that is the one we think waoks best

We are not selling VIP subscriptions till we complete all changes. Everything else is just speculation. When we complete the changes... we will resume VIP subscription sales...
The VIP board is open and working fine...

Our default stylesheet has changed to be more art deco... a tribute to Florida (the birthplace of most OCS's) sunblue

We also have a few other stylesheets that should work well with most browsers
Those that do not like the white background can edit their preferences and pick a darker stylesheet...

When I go to my view profile, I can see who has me on there watch list. ( I don't know if it is up to date)

When I go to "view profile" of a user that I am watching, my Icon and name don't show up on there side. I was wondering if thats it how it will be, or if that is still in the changing mode? blablabla

I think what shows up are people on your buddy list, not watched posters. Of course, that could have changed between the time you posted and the time I read it.

Is that why my view of DB is like I just woke up in a baby nursery?

Everything is pink and blue...no elephants though.

Funny Admin...too funny and made me LOL. I thought I was going to bust a stitch - literally (just had surgery).

Seriously though, I need to change my 'stylesheet' to make this (woke up in /vomitted in) a baby nursery go away?

Way too pink and blue.
My eyes are getting blinded too.
I love DB so what to do?
Pink elephants however, I do love you.

No Admin, nothing special for me...just wondering why this side of the board was all pink and blue.

I haven't tried to change stylesheets yet...I guess that is what I was asking. If I change it will this make the pink/blue colors go away.

I don't mind the elephants at all...in fact find them amusing.

Hello I see this may be an error in the software?

When you log out,and leave the board, you can come back several minutes later, and not log-in, look at who is online and you see the board shows me ( or others I'm sure) as being on line.

This may be confusing if someone is expecting a reply to a post or an pm conversation, and thinks your loged in.

I don't know if thats an error, or just an indication the board has pick-up that a user is here, but not logged in.. think

Sometimes we ban them, as in no posts and no PM's, but let them read... so they do not have to register another account...
After almost ten years of tweaks, exceptions, and fast fixes... we have a few strange things going on...

I have to ban him now for good and he will open a new account and we will not know which account it is... :-(

I just checked Who's Online and my name is on there. I have My Preferences set to hide my name. Also, the option in My Preferences that lets you chose to hide or show is no longer there.

hug No, just that I'm online. But I guess it really doesn't matter. So just leave it alone. Thanks, Admin

You can use any color you want... just select the one you like the most in your preferences... there is also a drop down menu to select the stylesheet on the lower part of the board...

This may sound like a stupid question, but how can I start a new thread?? I have looked on the site and it does not permit me to be able to do that. Help? Appreciated.

You have to be on one of the forums looking at a list of threads to be able to see the "New Topic" button
You can not see it when you are at a thread or a post...

Just go to the forum where you want to start a new topic and you will see the link to do it.

My first post on this message board. I work with a person who has participated here for some time but he apparently cannot access this site any longer for some reason.
While I will continue to read and may participate, I wonder how to communicate with the administrators to provide answers to see what the problem is regarding martind's account here?
Thank you

Have him go to www.drugbuyers.com/help
He is not banned. He must not know his password and he can recover that on the same place where people login... provided he has access to the email associated with his board account

The following are the basics about recovering usernames and passwords:

Quote:
You can recover the username and the password for the free board online.
It is very easy but you need to know the login name of the account or the email address and you must have access to the email address associated with the account

If you have no access to the email associated with the account you can not recover your login name or password unless we happen to know you somehow or you are a VIP member and the accounts are similar...

Go to: http://www.drugbuyers.com/freeboard/ubbthreads.php?ubb=login&lostpw=1
Enter your username or your email address and a new password will be sent to you by email.

Note that our system with only send the info to the email address associated with the account. If you have no access to the email address associated with the the account: you can not recover your UN or PW.

Use that temporary password to get in and then go to your "My Stuff" control panel to change your password for something easy to remember (but not too easy so others can not guess it)

There is no problem that we know about
This is how it works:
To send or receive PM's, or to participate in private topics, members need to have 25 posts... but they also need to have posted recently... if a member has 1000 posts and has not posted since the changes have been made... that member will not be able to PM, send or receive, till he makes a post...

This is new

To make this change we had to set all users to "No private messages" and the only way to get out of there is to make one post above post 24...
Even if you have 300 posts you will have to make a post so our system knows you are still around and changes your settings...

Also note that members can have a maximum number of PM's and when that quota is reached they can not send or receive PM's till they clean up their PM box a bit...

We are sort of suspicious of people that PM and do not post... please help by letting me know if anyone is sending you unsolicited PM's with offers or recommendations of any kind... specially if they ask you to keep it secret...

We feel it is best if all info, except for private info, is posted for all to see and comment... better and safer for all if everything is out in hte open and everybody can comment...

Crooks love secrets and keeping people in the dark... we like info out there in the open for all to see, comment, and benefit...

And we ask all users to report any unsolicitied PM if it includes a recommendation of any kind...

IMPORTANT: It is quite obvious that making silly worthless posts to gain permissions is not allowed... and any poster making silly posts just to ad to their post count will simply be deleted or banned just as soon as we notice

Admin - Posts are exactly one hour off from the time I post them to the date stamp from the UBB software/db server. I posted a test of this here

http://drugbuyers.com/freeboard/ubbthreads.php/topics/942928/Re_test_post#Post942928

Notice the difference in time from what I posted vs. the time stamp. Any one else in PST or any other time zone having this issue?

Thanks...
